09/05/2026: I've been walking past this shop for a long time, but for other reasons I've never managed to stop... I finally did yesterday. It's a clean, family-friendly place. I tried their fresh pasta, which is spectacular!!! The chicken and pepper-filled ravioli
(pulled chicken) are spectacular, and the simple ricotta and lemon ravioli are WOW! Convenient parking, try their dishes.
23/04/2026: Fabulous gnocchi every Thursday. Not only visiting is seeing all the wonderful pasta in the window... it's spectacular.

01/06/2026: Family lunch in a spacious restaurant with ample parking and a view of the Zagarolesi countryside... an old-world atmosphere with a touch of "feeling at home"! Excellent, carefully curated and flavorful menu... served with care and attention by the always friendly staff! Must try...
24/05/2026: I agree with some of the negative reviews that were written before me.
Ambience: The parking lot is spacious and there's a convenient elevator that takes you from floor 0 to floor 1, so this restaurant is good and convenient even for wheelchair users. There's also an entrance directly from the historic center.
As soon as you enter, you're a bit surprised because the rooms are furnished in an old-fashioned style, but the tables are all well-set.
The restrooms are stuck in the 1970s.
Service: Unlike the person who wrote before me who couldn't find the menus, the first things they brought were the menus—one meat, one fish, and one traditional—and water. Our choice of wines, including sparkling wine, unfortunately fell between a full bottle and glasses. Each glass cost 6 euros for a quantity that was less than half a glass.
As we finished eating, the waitress came and cleared away the dirty plates. I wanted to remind the owner, Daniele, to give his waiters a class on table etiquette, because it's absolutely forbidden to clear plates until everyone has finished eating.
Food:
I gave one star because all the dishes they brought were tasteless, starting with the famous matriciana pasta served in a pecorino cheese wheel. It was so tasteless that we had to ask what kind of pasta it was, and when the waitress told us "matriciana," we were all surprised because they didn't have any matriciana, and the guanciale, which was practically raw, was on the last plate plated and wasn't as crunchy as it should be!
Not to mention the famous chicken pulled with the grandparents' iron: the chicken leg and top leg were completely charred, so much so that you couldn't separate the black part from the rest of the meat... €20 (??) for half a chicken... also strictly unsalted and flavorless.
The chicory still had the stems attached... hard. The strawberries were simply sliced and served plain, without sugar or lemon, and the ones with cream weren't previously seasoned either.
Judging from our experience, we paid a lot (€50) per person for the tasteless quality of the food.
To be fair, the portions were just right, and the view of the greenery was beautiful and relaxing, but I'd say it was an average-to-low experience.

01/10/2025: You will understand that I passed by years ago... I was satisfied with everything. If I were to pass through the area I would stop again with great pleasure. Comfortable, simple, suggestive atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff, practical service, traditional dishes with a touch of renewal. Fair price. Excellent quality.
10/06/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, and had a great time. The welcome was family-friendly, and the food was good. Thanks guys, we'll be back!

28/03/2026: Nice place! We had a carbonara and some burgers, and desserts. Everything was very good.
Nice place. Very young. Perhaps less so for families.
What wasn't so good was the service; it was very slow. We had asked for fries as an appetizer, but they arrived after half an hour, so we had to ask for them. We then ordered the burgers and fries. We waited half an hour for the burgers and another half an hour for the fries. There were a lot of people there, but even among them (the waitresses) they were very distracted. And they had also ordered their dinner.
Perhaps, as I said, less for families and more for young people.

08/12/2025: We had lunch at the Garden with a large group of friends and were pleasantly surprised. A comprehensive, high-quality menu at a truly competitive price. The food was well-prepared, and above all, we appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and the staff, who were always friendly and smiling despite there being 60 of us, including several children. We hope to return soon. Kudos to those who know how to do their job.
20/11/2025: I didn't ask if the chicory could be put on another plate—that obviously can be done. I asked if I could do that while composing the €12 menu, and if he'd said "no, it can't be done," I would have said to put everything on one plate and then give the chicory to my colleague. Instead, he said yes, so I ordered that, knowing I'd be spending €12.
And it's not a question of whether or not you're saving €5, because if you don't know the last name, I recommend asking around 😉. It's simply a question of respect and humanity, because someone goes out of their way to be polite, always thanking and saying hello, and then gets made fun of at the register.
It's your duty to inform the waitresses how the menu works, and it's their duty to tell them what customers have ordered before they enter random things into the register computer that customers don't know they've ordered.

08/12/2025: While looking for some Christmas gifts at the next-door store, "PotereNerd," we tried the pizzeria on the corner. It was a pleasant discovery! I'll start with the supplí, which I absolutely adore: they didn't have that overly salty flavor typical of pre-fried products, and in fact they're homemade. The pepper ones were also good, with the distinct flavor of the spice. The pizza, crunchy on the base and with just the right amount of toppings, didn't bother my palate. I'm not a particularly refined palate, but often when they use mixes, it burns. In this case, I didn't have any problems, so I'd say the dough was made with water, flour, and yeast, which isn't always a given. The red pizza was superb. What can I say? If you're in the area, it's worth a try.
15/10/2025: I ordered a 4-cheese pizza and a Margherita, both really delicious! They arrived hot and in perfect condition. The delivery service was prompt and very convenient. Recommended! 🍕

11/10/2025: A neighborhood bakery where tradition is evident in the aroma that greets you as soon as you enter. Located in Valle Martella, it's easy to get to and offers convenient parking in front.
The bread is simply excellent: golden crust, soft crumb, and authentic, old-fashioned flavor. I also tried the pizza by the slice and the focaccia—fragrant, light, and well-seasoned, perfect for a quick snack or a savory treat. You can sense the attention to quality ingredients and the experience of those working behind the counter.
The staff is always friendly and smiling, ready to offer advice with courtesy and helpfulness. The environment is clean, tidy, and welcoming, with an authentic simplicity that immediately puts you at ease.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent: you leave satisfied for a fair price, which is not always a given these days.
In short, Panificio Gentili is a must-visit for those seeking fresh, delicious baked goods made with passion. Highly recommended for those who live in the area or are passing through: a sure stop for those who love "old-fashioned" bread, but with modern and courteous service.

21/12/2024: Ci sono stato un paio di volte. Diciamo che la materia prima è buona. Purtroppo (per loro) la location è come una Trattoria e non basta mettere una stufetta, in un locale non idoneo alla ristorazione, per renderla più accogliente. Piatti molto molto semplici e troppo costosi. Vino della casa pessimo. Servizio "impalpabile". Posate dentro una confezione di carta (tipo Tavola Calda). Due antipasti misti, un trancio di tonno arrosto, una frittura (media), mezzo litro di vino, una bottiglia di acqua, € 84,50: a questi prezzi si trova di meglio. Non credo tornerò.
