24/11/2024: Experience NOT to be repeated due to the rudeness encountered. - before booking I asked by phone if they were having an aperitif, I was told that yes, they were having an aperitif but that we had to leave at 7.30pm because the tables were needed for dinner. -I ask for a saucepan with boiling water to heat my daughter's bottle in a bain-marie, I was told that the kitchen was closed (AT 8.00 PM😅) and that if the waitress had asked the chef this thing he wouldn't have taken it well, so I she brought a saucepan with boiling water from the bar. -my 1 year old daughter needs a nappy change around 9.00/9.30pm, the place is not equipped with a changing table, the waitress suggests that I change the baby on the table in the (empty) room, then returning immediately afterwards telling me that it was not possible because the chef was cooking (at 8pm the kitchen was closed, at 9.30pm the chef was cooking, okay) the owner (I think) joined us at the table immediately afterwards and very rudely tells me that when she went around she brought the stroller telling me that I had to do the same because changing a little girl there would have annoyed the customers. I ask her if I can at least use a chair to change her, she says ok as long as I stand in the corner. Assuming and not granting that he could be right about changing the baby on the table in an EMPTY room, why not offer the possibility of changing her in the bathroom with a changing table? I was reprimanded for not bringing the stroller, are you kidding me? Finally, the waitress, with veiled rudeness, offers us coffee so maybe we could avoid the disturbance. Food? Good but a 15 euro pizza I wouldn't say cheap.

17/11/2024: This is one of the few GREAT restaurants in Tuscany. Located in the cutest village of 300 people, San Giovanni d'Asso, you will ultimately feel welcomed when walking in! The owner (Massimo) is the master chef, who is quick to introduce guests to one another (especially Americans, who might feel language-challenged, like me). Kids are welcomed and don't forget the Tiramisu, that Massimo makes from scratch! The pizzas are great as everything else! This is not one of those Tuscan restaurants trying to do "fancy" food for Americans. Its true home-cooked Tuscan food. Always great choices for local wines.
