17/08/2025: A pleasant discovery. Very professional and attentive staff. Varied menu with a wide choice of both a full menu and individual dishes. There are also a couple of specials of the day. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food and service. I'll be back!

04/09/2025: Every time we travel from Milan to Cavallino Treporti, we always stop at Ristorante Vanin. Excellent food, a spotlessly clean space, and Antonio's work is impeccable. A special mention also goes to the very dear Monica Vanin, always smiling and friendly. A unique staff that will make our evening special. Thanks guys, and see you soon!!!

01/09/2025: Didn't like it. The quality of the dinner was not bad, we booked a table in advance, but we had to wait, the drinks were brought much later than the food, we waited a very long time for our order, and they even tried to overcharge us when calculating... I didn't leave a tip... I don't recommend it.

30/08/2025: Amazing pizza. Unmissable homemade gelato. Gorgeous croissants, unique pieces that I couldn't take home because they literally sold out. I absolutely must return to this place of delights.

08/08/2025: Even though I live in the area, this evening I had dinner by the sea after many years. The food was expertly prepared (I personally don't like fried food), but here it was fantastic. This evening the moon kissed the sea. Any advice? If you're in the area, this place is a must-try.

05/08/2025: The restaurant is located right on the beach and offers a fantastic view of the sea. We really enjoyed the food. The price-performance ratio is good. For example, a Margherita pizza was €6. The service was also very friendly. The restaurant also has a children's playground.

08/08/2025: Molto bene. We joined the risto by accident. The waiter guided us to the back of the building and the terrace to hava lunch. Great spot and atmosphere. Food was incredible. We can highly recommend all dolci.

07/08/2025: Friendly staff, easy-going lagoon-like location, excellent quality fish but the portions decidedly TINY to avoid calling them cicchetti, in short, let's look at the bill... decidedly salty and not in line with the portions brought to the table. It's the first time but never again. Absolutely not recommended.

28/08/2025: The ambiance and service were very good. However, there were a few difficulties overall: There were 10 of us, or three families. One family's appetizers came after the other two families' main courses. And those plates were almost empty. The lasagna portion was smaller than a small bowl of cereal. One appetizer didn't come with pecorino, even though it was listed on the menu. The insalata mista didn't come with balsamic vinegar, only oil, salt, and pepper. The final bills for all three families had incorrect items, for example, two extra cutlery sets (yes, here you still pay for the cutlery/dishes according to outdated Italian tradition). The drink orders also had a few errors. But the food, such as pizzas, pasta, and the asado beef, was very, very tasty and highly recommended. It was truly enjoyable to dine on.

20/08/2025: I love it, we love it. We've been coming to Union Lido for seven years, and Al Mare is our favorite restaurant. The food here is simply excellent, the value for money is good, and if the kids get bored after eating, they go to the playground on the beach.

06/08/2025: The general atmosphere in the restaurant was okay but the acoustics were pretty awful. You couldn’t talk to a person sitting across the table. The general food was ok but we also ordered some lasagna and it was horrible. The lasagna arrived almost cold like it was frozen and then microwaved. It also didn’t have any bećhamel sauce and the meat was unseasoned. Also, the tomato sauce tasted like store-bought, pre-made tomato noodle sauce and there was no Parmesan cheese on the lasagna. All in all, it wasn’t a great experience.

05/08/2025: I recommend this restaurant. We visit every year. They maintain a high standard. The fruit is fresh, the pasta is delicious, and the desserts – tiramisu and profiteroles – are incredible. The food is served quickly, clean, and delicious. I recommend it. The wine in carafes is wonderful 🤩

02/09/2025: Arrogant waiters who can't say please or thank you. I've never been served worse than in this restaurant. The food was okay, but we definitely won't be coming back because of the service.

29/08/2025: Super delicious restaurant, the steaks are amazing. Large portions, enough to fill everyone. The price/performance ratio is definitely good.

28/08/2025: I would definitely recommend it. A wait time of about 15 minutes for a seat without a reservation is acceptable. €120 for four people in a class is reasonable. Unfortunately, there are no smoking areas in the beer garden!

29/07/2025: You can get there by all private means including water, excellent quality food, trained and smiling staff and above all the cleanliness is 10 just look at the kitchen when you enter the room ... Obviously I have not mentioned the view, a picture.

02/09/2025: We had both lunch and dinner there. The pizzas were good, but the fish dishes were also highly recommended. Prices were reasonable, even in high season. Impeccable service.

02/09/2025: Good restaurant, the waiters and waitresses are friendly and attentive, and the food is very tasty. The outdoor area borders a street, but is separated by a hedge, and we didn't notice anything from the street. We were there in the evening, though, so I don't know what it's like during the day. The ambiance has a bit of a beer garden feel to it thanks to the wooden benches, which we didn't find negative; rather, it was cozy and relaxed. The food arrived very quickly, relatively simultaneously, and was really very good, so we went back the next evening. My first evening, I had vitello tonnato as a starter, one of my absolute favorite starters that I've eaten countless times. This one was a huge portion, with a generous amount of tuna sauce on top, and the arugula that came with it went very well with it; I hadn't tried anything like that before; it was really delicious! For my main course, I ordered spaghetti allo scoglio, spaghetti with mussels, clams, scampi, king prawns, and tomato sauce. A large portion of spaghetti and lots of shellfish, also very tasty! Afterward, I was so full that I briefly considered ordering dessert, but then decided on the tiramisu, and I wasn't disappointed. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there again the next evening, and of course, I had vitello tonnato as a starter again. This time, however, I felt a little lacking in sauce, so it was a bit dry overall. Perhaps, like on the first evening, they could make sure to add "enough" tuna sauce, which, for me, is what makes this dish special. Despite this small criticism, this evening was also enjoyable, and all the dishes were delicious. Therefore, we will eat there again today. We can definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. The value for money is good, the food is excellent, and the service is very good.

29/07/2025: Excellent pizzas! Tried several times and the dough is superb. I highly recommend it. The price is justified by the quality and it doesn't leave you thirsty at all.
