Of all the places we visited at Union Lido, this one is the worst overall. The best item on the menu is the seafood pizza. As for the pasta, the carbonara is average. The same goes for the ragu. Better tables with views of the beach and sea require reservations in advance. The tiramisu isn't a deal-breaker either. There are so many seats that you should probably find a spot without calling in advance. There are a lot of waiters and staff bringing your ordered dishes and drinks. This creates a bit of chaos, so it's worth checking the list of extras on your bill.

In Italy, they've adapted to a vegan diet. This is also true of Ristorante Al Mare with its veggie pizza. It's not an extraordinary pizza, no unusual ingredients (though they are fresh), etc., but it tasted good. The cheese offers a good alternative (taste, texture, etc.). You can certainly form your own opinion, even if you're not vegan. Unfortunately, they only offer this one pizza. A second option would have been nice, so there would at least be a small selection. We also found it a bit odd that some of the staff stood near us the whole time, seemingly watching us. Nevertheless, it was a lovely evening and the pizza was good.

Caesar salad Unfortunately, it contained arugula and mixed greens - unacceptable. Cheese instead of shredded, decent cheese was grated. Caesar dressing - there was no mayonnaise instead - unacceptable. Chicken fillet instead of beautiful pieces. Salad scraps - unacceptable. Hugo Spritz No lime. Pink color / some colored syrup was added without asking - unacceptable. Service was very friendly. The view was beautiful. Service was very quick. The degree of dissatisfaction with the dish I received spoils the positive impressions of other aspects.

A fantastic location right on the beach with amazing, delicious food. The service was always very attentive and friendly. We would love to come back again.

We returned to Union Lido after more than 10 years (previously 20 years straight) and can say that Al Mare has gotten even better. We ate there every day, sometimes even twice, and it was always fantastic. The staff is very friendly, and the owner is still the same as before. He personally comes to your table. For us, it was the best food in town, which made our holiday perfect. Thanks to the whole team! 👍😊

Excellent restaurant, all the dishes were delicious. Very good value for money. We will definitely come again.

Delicious food, very fair prices!

We visited Ristorante Al Mare during the Pentecost holidays and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. It was quite busy around 7 pm, so a reservation is definitely recommended. 😊 The menu offers a great selection, so there's something for everyone. The food was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and served quickly – perfect when you're hungry. The prices are absolutely fantastic; the value for money is excellent. The location right on the seafront is simply breathtaking! 🌊🍴 A thoroughly enjoyable visit; we'll definitely be back!
