29/06/2025: Terrible place... unpleasant waitress. The waitress insults you and explains that a fish platter is the same as a seafood platter. I think she doesn't understand that this makes a significant difference for some people. To then allow yourself to be spoken to rudely is pretty cheeky. (Especially for that price.) The food itself is very tasty, though.

21/06/2025: We were looking for a place to grab a quick bite and we couldn't have made a better choice. The food was delicious, we had a vegetarian toast and a large mushroom bruschetta with water and we only spent €15. I'm only mentioning this because we noticed some outrageous prices around Caorle for a quality that wasn't even that great. This place, however, turned out to be a great and pleasant discovery. The staff was also very kind and fast. Highly recommended

25/05/2025: We came for a quick lunch, a little early so the kitchen was still closed, and everything we could order was of terrible quality: the sandwich was practically empty, rubbery, cold (when we asked if they could at least heat it up they said no), the pancakes were equally rubbery. I'm sorry to leave a bad review, but I had a really bad time. I don't know what it's like in the evening, but it's not recommended for lunch.

10/07/2025: I went to this restaurant with my family (2 adults, 2 children). The waitress brought the menu and wanted to take our order. The restaurant is known for its fish specialties, and I had a few questions. The waitress didn't explain things very clearly and, when I asked further questions about a dish that was charged by the gram, she became very annoyed and somewhat unfriendly. Ultimately, we decided on a fish with roasted potatoes as a side dish. The fish was presented to us raw, then grilled and filleted by the waitress. It was delicious. Only the potatoes were still hard-boiled and had no color. My husband had spaghetti carbonara, but the egg was curdling, so it looked like pasta with egg.

09/07/2025: We had the fish platter for two people and the kids had a Wiener Schnitzel (for two, there's no children's menu and no pizza). The food was very good and the staff really friendly!!!!!

24/05/2025: C'è anche una proposta di piatti , sia primi che secondi , con pescato fresco molto saporiti. Personale cordiale e preparato. Anche la pizza molto buona con un ottimo impasto.

18/05/2025: Finalmente un vero ristorante di pesce anche a Porto Santa Margherita Assaggiato un po' di tutto, antipasti,primi,secondi Che dire la qualità dei prodotti è eccezionale,si sente che sono freschissimi e soprattutto la passione dello Chef anche nei piccoli particolari Personale molto gentile e cordiale Per finire prezzi ottimi per la qualità dell'offerta!!

17/07/2025: I give it 4 stars for the restaurant's location and the various dining areas... there's a beautiful area right in front of the sea, and for those who want, you can dance and listen to music... perhaps we happened to be there on a very busy night... but I think customers should always be notified of any service or food issues... aside from the table preparation, which was staged... the appetizer arrived before the cutlery... my least favorite thing were the dishes I chose, like the seafood risotto and the grilled swordfish... the raw materials weren't the best; in fact, some ingredients, like the shrimp, seemed frozen... and if that were the case, I find it very disappointing that there was no asterisk on the menu indicating that frozen fish might be present. I don't think all the fish was fresh! The bill was 77 euros for 1 appetizer, 1 first course, and 1 second course!!!

29/06/2025: During our recent stay in Porto Santa Margherita, my mom and I discovered what we believe to be the only restaurant in the area where you can eat really well: Riva Restaurant. We stopped for breakfast almost every morning and were thrilled. The cappuccino was always excellent, creamy and well made, while the vegan brioches were simply out of this world: light, fragrant and full of flavor. A perfect start to the day. On Friday we decided to return for lunch, and the experience was truly up to expectations, if not better. For the entrée, I chose seared octopus served with cream of peppers and caper flowers: a balanced and delicious dish, where each flavor was elegantly enhanced. For the second course, we both opted for the tuna tataki, and what can I say… IT IS EXCEPTIONAL. The tuna was of excellent quality, cooked to perfection, and accompanied by caramelized onions that were a real fairy tale, capable of enhancing every bite. A special applause goes to Luca, who looked after us with great care, advising us on both courses and making me and my mother feel truly pampered throughout the lunch. His kindness and attention made the experience even more pleasant. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff, professional, smiling and passionate, who contribute to making Riva Restaurant a place where you gladly return, and that we feel we can recommend with enthusiasm!

28/06/2025: They say that we will have to wait a bit for the first courses and that they will bring us a small appetizer to share. Anyway, there were a lot of shrimps but as a small appetizer it was fine. Except when the price of 19 euros arrived on the bill He paid more for that appetizer of 5 shrimps than for the first courses which we appreciated anyway

16/06/2025: Restaurant we have been going to for years every time we spend a few days in Caorle and it has never let us down. The food is excellent, very fresh fish and a pleasant atmosphere. Saturday night a special eel and osso!

28/06/2025: We already knew kiosk alga Marina as a daily beach kiosk and we already liked it a lot for courtesy, well-kept location, good aperitifs and snacks. This year we also had dinner and we absolutely recommend it! High quality of fish and really good and abundant dishes ... Definitely better than places that are born as "restaurants" and leave much to be desired ... congratulations! The location is also nice with games for children nearby and in sight. Negative reviews written previously definitely out of place. Well done!

15/06/2025: It must be said that the food is not bad at all, however on an organizational level a veil must be drawn over it: errors in noting down reservations, dishes at different times, biblical waiting times. To have a coffee at the end of the meal we had to ask 4 times and the waiter even allowed himself to roll his eyes. Him!? But learn to work!!!

27/06/2025: This hotel was a big disappointment for us. The rooms are tiny and poorly equipped, one wardrobe, no other storage space, no hook to hang clothes, not even in the bathroom. The sink and shower drain poorly, we had to remove the overflow tank in the shower so that the bathroom wouldn't have a swimming pool (which we managed to do right from the start). There is no bidet in the bathroom. The walls of the rooms are like paper, so you can hear everything. The breakfasts are completely inadequate, there are no fruits like watermelon, apricots, bananas, and not enough vegetables. From the pastries, you can choose from whole grain baguettes, which are obviously from a frozen semi-finished product, dark bread and white toast bread. There is no Italian pastry like baguettes, buns or ciabatta. There is one salami, ham and mortadella on offer, one type of cheese. There are also defrosted pancakes, muffins and croissants. Juice from powder. Parking is in a nearby parking garage, but no one will drive you there, which is a standard service of other hotels. If you want a really nice hotel on the beach with perfect service and friendly staff, choose Hotel delle Nazioni. You will be delighted with the breakfast! The only downside is that this year they made the hotel “adults only” (children from 16), which is why we had to find an alternative this year. However, the choice of Hotel Astoria was unfortunate.

01/06/2025: Trovato per caso, mangiato a dir poco benissimo. Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi onesti. Per non parlare della gentilezza ed educazione della signora che ci ha serviti con gli occhiali e i capelli biondi e ricci. Veramente brava e professionale. Consigliatissimo, prossima volta che torniamo a Caorle verremo sicuramente qua.

02/07/2025: I went to Astro convinced that I would find the usual good quality/price ratio but I find myself leaving 2 stars. We stopped for a quick lunch ready to enjoy two plates of spaghetti with clams. Following our order, after about 10 minutes we were informed that the clams were not available so we were forced to change our choice (we were still offered pasta allo scoglio... without clams!?!). We opted for spaghetti with pesto and red prawns and spaghetti alla busara. We received two dishes of mediocre quality, certainly not comparable to the price (20€ per plate, in our opinion 15€ maximum). The spaghetti alla busara with three prawns on top and the ones with pesto immersed in oil. It is appreciable that they apologized, at the end, for the lack of clams but we would have greatly appreciated knowing this as soon as we sat down. Also, we were with a small child in a stroller and we were not even asked if we wanted a high chair to sit him. In addition, the service did not even bring a lemon wipe and/or a plate to leave the shrimp peels and clean your hands. Two first courses, a bottle of water and a glass of prosecco: €50!! I am very sorry but we will not be returning!

If the presentation were a bit more imaginative, it would have earned 0.5 stars... typical Italian restaurant, although... definitely worth a visit... one of the few restaurants that can compete with Eraclea Mare... bravo... Pizza isn't always available, but that's okay...
