01/06/2025: Our experience at this hotel was very satisfying. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, the staff was very friendly, and the value for money was excellent. If you're traveling by car and need to rest in this area, don't hesitate to spend the night here.

14/02/2025: Excellent, very welcoming place! My friends and I only had an aperitif and cicchetti but quality wine, a divine sauvignon and crostini with heavenly cold cuts! Excellent service at normal prices!

Mangiato malissimo … pasta insapore ed acquosa, baccalà mantecato senza sapore … lasciato tutto nel piatto … niente altro, sconsiglio ovviamente!

It makes you want to go back!

Helpful staff, even if there are few people.
Nice summer terrace but uncovered for large groups.
Parking a bit small, but there is other parking in the area.
Average prices for food, on some things a bit high as prices but normal.
13/05/2025: Posto accogliente, si mangiano piatti della tradizione fatti con cura, il personale è gentile e preparato, anche nella buonissima selezione di vini… che dire? Super consigliato

18/05/2025: I always hate to write a bad review, but I can't help it when you wait 1 hour and 58 minutes for the pizza!
The pizza was very good, but the atmosphere was noisy, everyone was complaining about the wait and the answer was to be patient because it's Saturday night....
18/05/2025: Good pizza but... we arrived at 8:00 pm (with a reserved table) the pizza arrived at 9:58 pm, the explanation was "it's Saturday night".
All the tables had very long waits and were visibly annoyed.
It wasn't the first time I went to this place and unfortunately they confirmed the poor speed of service that I remembered and that friends told me about.
Nothing to say about the waiters, always kind and helpful but perhaps it would be a good idea to review something on an organizational level in the kitchen.
I don't think I'll be back...

23/05/2025: Traveling for work, we stopped for dinner at Pisoera given the excellent reviews. We ate very well. Two excellent first courses (fusilli with octopus and fresh tuna bavette all'amatriciana) and a truly remarkable second course, the monkfish bites with Tropea onion and squid ink risotto flan. We drank a fermented prosecco, a very special bottle. Coffee and barrel-aged grappa. Fair price, impeccable service. I highly recommend it, especially if you want a high-class osteria where you can eat in peace, away from busy areas.

29/04/2025: Booked at this restaurant for a lunch break. Nice, comfortable and family environment. Menu with a good choice and good prices. Excellent food. Very courteous and quick in service. A beautiful discovery! Also worth returning for dinner
26/03/2025: The fixed menu has five choices for the first courses and the same number for the second courses. More choice, however, for the side dishes. We made 3 different choices and all were excellent. Coffee and dessert are also off the menu. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Highly recommended.

02/04/2025: My husband and I just relocated to the area from NC for work. After a long journey, we wanted nothing more than to crash, but had noticed Wakeside on the way to our rental. We decided to go out and I'm so glad we did, from the moment we walked in, everything was amazing and honestly just what I needed, the staff was so kind and welcoming and very prompt. They had march madness going on all the tvs, the food was sooooo good, we even got takeout to enjoy more later. Our server (I feel so bad I don't remember her name, she was young with long blonde hair, it was the past Saturday) she was absolutely amazing, very attentive, helped me pick the perfect dish - the pub dip 😋
We loved everything and will definitely be back!
Thank you Wakeside for making our first night here feel right at home!
