04/01/2026: Late 70s/early 80s atmosphere. I had New Year's Eve dinner with friends. The first courses were all top-quality, the wine was excellent (they produce it), and the cookies (zaeti and cantucci) were also delicious, also homemade. There are also photos of important guests who dined there (politicians, athletes, actors). The owner is friendly and approachable. It's on a hill, with a beautiful view of the plains that allowed us to see the fireworks. Go for New Year's Eve if you can.
25/12/2025: ...what can I say... It's a safe bet: good food, a very nice atmosphere (although dated), well-maintained and clean, and friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Even though it was dark outside, the place created a lovely atmosphere and made the evening a wonderful memory. I recommend it.

16/02/2026: For Valentine's Day, my girlfriend and I chose Il Bastione.
The atmosphere was very welcoming and perfect for an evening with your partner.
We chose the fixed fish menu, which included
Scallops with truffle and lard, bruschetta with shrimp, octopus, peppers, and toasted almonds;
Ravioli stuffed with sea bass, cherry tomatoes, and burrata;
Sesame-crusted tuna steak on a zucchini cream and potato chips;
Fritters filled with zabaglione cream and raspberry sauce;
Coffee;
Prosecco wine by the glass.
Very quiet, suitable for families and children.
Wheelchair accessible, this historic restaurant is a great choice.
I recommend it to anyone looking to spend an evening with friends and family.

19/01/2026: Tried on January 17th. The pancake with cream/zabaglione—they weren't clear about it—was mediocre. It had neither the strength nor the flavor of zabaglione, and it may have been lighter, as they told me, but it disappointed me: I've had much better ones in Vicenza and Padua. The chocolate cream puff was decent. The herbal tea was good, but the unknown lemon tea was definitely not great, and it needs reconsidering. The mezzanine where we stayed was quite dark, both due to the dark color of the walls, a sad dark gray, and the insufficient lighting. The deer antlers on the walls were tasteless and out of place. The ladies were kind. I don't think I'll be back.

28/12/2025: A beautiful place for lunch in the hills. Spectacular views (the Berica hills and the Alpine foothills).
Excellent quality food and kind, attentive staff. I went there for Christmas lunch, and despite the understandable chaos, everything was impeccable.
08/12/2025: I came with some colleagues for a business dinner.
We ate very well, the dishes were excellent and of the highest quality. Special desserts, extensive wine list. The premises were spotlessly clean. The price was fair considering what we ate and drank. There are even some figures carved in stone.

03/01/2026: Everyone raves about it, but it's a shame that on Saturday they brought me a mixed grill that tasted like cod. What a disappointment! Being a pensioner on the bare minimum, I had saved up, but I regret it all! You can't reheat leftovers from the day before. 😩

15/02/2026: I've been to you but eating on 02/15/2026 then prosecco wine seemed still wine, the first one was gnocchi with danitra sauce it was cold and without soap the meat smelled, vegetables cooked badly the only good thing was the french fries as the place went down a lot I don't recommend it

17/03/2026: For years, I've been going to Casa Vecia every Sunday for dinner (simple but well-made food) and dancing. For us, it was almost like being with family. Unfortunately, we don't dance on Sundays anymore, and I miss it dearly. Please start letting us dance again on Sunday evenings!
Kudos to the owners and waitresses.

Anche questa volta siamo stati molto soddisfatti delle pietanze curate e del personale gentile.
Penso che come rapporto qualità prezzo sia il primo dei Colli.
