I had the pleasure of tasting the stuffed gnocchi, a well-balanced dish, with an authentic flavor and a perfect consistency. Next, the Angus Florentine: simply exceptional. Meat cooked to perfection, succulent and rich in flavor, to leave you speechless. The environment is comfortable, welcoming, with an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The staff is a real strong point: helpful and friendly, they add that touch of human warmth that makes the experience even more pleasant. In summary, at Cantinon you eat very well and spend time in a relaxed and genuine environment. I recommend it to those looking for a mix of traditional cuisine and authentic hospitality. 13/01/2025: In the Euganean Hills there are many places that have chosen to renovate, while others have decided to preserve their history, both in furnishings and in the gastronomic offer. The Trattoria “Al Cantinon” undoubtedly belongs to this second category, offering a dive into the past where time seems to have stopped. The atmosphere recalls the typical trattorias of the 70s and 80s, with a menu that faithfully reflects their style: intense aromas, authentic flavors and that touch of spices that enhance dishes such as stews or side dishes. Generous portions, dishes rich in flavour, affordable prices and a friendly and attentive staff are the ingredients that make this restaurant a place where it is always worth returning!

26/01/2025: We may have been unlucky tonight, judging by past reviews, but this evening's food didn't convince us at all. The duck, present in the first courses as ragù and also in a second course, had a bad smell, perhaps due to the game not being treated correctly. Another second course, Bresciana beef, had too strong a taste and smell and was not consumed. The manager explained to us that it is boneless meat with anchovies: I suggest explaining this to the customer when ordering. Finally, the desserts: the sbrisolona cake is excellent, but not the apple pie. Overall the place is nice, it has a slightly "vintage" atmosphere that I personally appreciate. The service was excellent and the manager was welcoming and kind. Too bad about the above dishes, it probably wasn't the right day. Affordable and honest prices.

19/02/2025: Had dinner twice (unfortunately only twice). Always satisfied.....very satisfied... at 360°. I can't wait to go back. .....I wanted to express my opinion for those who complain about the high prices, the small portions, the poor quality........,.Well.... first of all there are many places where you can fill your belly with 12 euros, ....I only attended middle school, but I learned a long time ago that to eat at home, if I want quality I have to spend more. I'm surprised when in the third millennium, with prices displayed, photographs, social media, reviews etc etc someone thinks of entering other people's homes and being able to decide the prices. We must know that there are also realities where those who manage it first of all put their Face into it, then, partly out of passion, partly out of ambition, they get up in the morning with the desire to work well, with refined materials, therefore quality, therefore expensive; always hoping to be able to satisfy the prestigious and important clientele! ......even a Ferrari has its negative sides, yet those who have it don't complain about consumption or maintenance costs.

08/02/2025: Menu with little choice, they don't even have cold cuts. We asked for a coke or a fanta and they didn't have it. The goulash was too sour, the roe deer tasted so much like the flour they used to bind the sauce, the same goes for the goulash. Excessive prices.

02/02/2025: After some time we finally returned to "the Rio" which must always be said to be top notch...very kind staff, delicious platter of game meats...well the Fiornetina...how delicious! How wonderful!…my family and I had a wonderful dinner +++++

12/01/2025: After some time we had dinner in this place and as always a guarantee. The owner Luigi is very nice and the whole family is very welcoming. Professional waiters. The food was exquisite (meat at the top!). You deserve 10 stars! A big kiss to Mrs. Maria.
