07/01/2026: I ate really well...and as a vegetarian in the mountains, that's not always easy. Delicious, bold cheeses accompanied by pear mustard (what a kick! 😜), polenta with mushrooms and flowers, and an excellent Amarone. The tiramisu at the end knocked me out!! See you soon!!!

01/03/2026: We ate quite well, even though there's no vegan option and the vegetarian option is very limited. The price is quite high, and above all, we missed the old place where they made their own cheese with cows visible under the glass floor and the dairy laboratory, also visible from the dining room. It's now lost the old charm that justified the trip from Marilleva 1400 for us. Instead of cows, the animals are now a donkey and a sluggish pony, who are there just for show and don't have a bed: they're locked up with the lights on for show under the restaurant, on a concrete floor without straw. Outside, two alpacas are locked up in a space barely three meters apart. A bad thing that takes away from the place and doesn't give
20/02/2026: Very characteristic Alpine atmosphere. Very friendly staff and truly excellent, high-quality food. The pork shank I ate is among the best I've ever tasted. We also had a small issue with the bill, but thanks to the helpfulness and honesty of the staff, we resolved it quickly. What can I say? If I'm ever in this area again, I'll definitely stop by. Highly recommended.

12/03/2026: So. This hotel is not rustic, it is in bad need of renovation.
Cracked floors, walls, and beds that will make you think you are in a monastery... Uncomfortable does not describe it.
It is clean, the staff is friendly and it is close to the slopes.
28/02/2026: The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it meets all the requirements for the price. The service is exemplary, English at the reception is no problem. The location is actually perfect considering the location next to the ski slope and the solution to problems is immediate and helpful. The kitchen is above average and perfect for the price. The hotel is located very close to the ski slope, including the cable car, so it is not dependent on the ski bus, etc.

Arriviamo e scopriamo che ci hanno separato, 10 su un tavolo 5 sull'altro...
Sinceramente un ristorante che non ha lo spazio per una tavolata da 15 persone non dovrebbe innanzitutto prendere la prenotazione, per onestà e correttezza.
We organize a birthday party, booking in advance of course; for 15 people.
We arrive and discover that they have separated us, 10 on one table 5 on the other...
Honestly, a restaurant that does not have the space for a table of 15 people should not take the reservation in the first place, for honesty and correctness.

01/05/2025: Albergo stupendo e nuovo, camera extra spaziosa (ENORME) e tutta nuova. Pulizia impeccabile, personale gentilissimo e cibo tipico locale cucinato divinamente! Pressi più che onesti, non trovo un difetto. Che dire....tutto magnifico!
24/04/2025: Sulla strada del Tonale, ristorante-albergo a conduzione familiare. Specialità polenta e selvaggina. Semplici e buoni i primi, scelte limitate per i secondi. Merita una sosta.

Menu semplice ma di qualità.
Buonissimo il loro gelato alla vaniglia con top di olio d’oliva.

22/04/2025: Abbiamo pranzato presso il ristorante dell'Hotel La Torretta. Ambiente accogliente, anche se un po' freddino. Cibo nella media e prezzi medio/alti. Il locale non era per niente affollato, eravamo solamente 3 tavoli. Il cameriere invece era molto agitato, tanto che non forniva il giusto relax e tranquillità del pranzo. Non c'era nulla da correre.... Siamo arrivati al punto che stava portando via i piatti, senza che avessimo finito.... per poi accorgersi di ciò che stava facendo, una volta fermato.....
24/03/2025: Siamo stati trattati talmente bene che siamo ritornati ! Questa volta abbiamo ordinato gli antipasti veramente buoni , la carensalada una delizia , abbiamo poi mangiato delle pappardelle al ragù di cervo ottime e infine strudel caldo con crema pasticcera ! Tutti molto cortesi ! A presto !

La cameriera maleducata e pensa che i clienti non sappiano cosa sia il senso civico, rispondendo in malo modo senza guardarli in faccia!

16/02/2025: Cibo molto buono,zuppa con le verdure ottima ma quando sono andato sulle pizze (molto buone e variate) ho trovato la pizza con l’ananas sono rimasto malissimo per me che sono un italiano
