17/06/2025: I was here with a friend and had spaghetti with prawns and, to start, hake. However, it was pureed, which isn't really my thing and should have been mentioned. They were very accommodating to my complaint and served me an excellent char from Lake Garda. This was accompanied by a Valpolicella from Villa Spinosa, which we enjoyed. The service was all very good and friendly. Very professional. Highly recommended.

13/06/2025: Hi - we had an amazing meal here: great service, fabulous food and lovely sud tirol wine to accompany. Excellent service also and very good value for the standard of cuisine with a lovely view of the lake.

24/06/2025: The nicest restaurant and dining experience we had in Torbole, my fiancé said it was the nicest meal she ever had. Fantastic service and gorgeous food. The staff were very good and knew their stuff.

06/06/2025: Updated in response to reply: If all this is the case, it would have been appropriate to communicate this to the customer. If it is such fine dining why did no one come check on us at all throughout our dining or come to refill our when glasses? You can tell from their reply that there is a defensive attitude. I’ve been to many fine dining gourmet places with far better service and food. Original review below: Before ordering the 39 euro zucchini florets I asked the waiter: “Is this big enough as a main course,” specifying I was looking for something filling for dinner. He ensured me it was. When it came (see photo) I was shocked to find just three small florets, hardly a dinner. When I complained to the manager he said, “Perhaps I didn’t understand you before my English is not good.” Meanwhile, when I had questions about the wine we ordered I found his English vocabulary to be the best I’ve encountered on my entire trip across Italy. Rather than offering me another dish as a courtesy I was encouraged to order another. And to top it off he said “Perhaps you didn’t understand this place is gourmet.”

09/06/2025: La lasagna vegetariana è stata una grande delusione. Invece di verdure fresche o una salsa di pomodoro aromatica, dominavano aromi artificiali – sembrava di mangiare una combinazione tra una zuppa istantanea della Maggi e strati di pasta. Nessuna traccia del tipico sapore italiano, piuttosto un esperimento chimico nel piatto. La “bistecca” – in realtà un pezzo di carne surgelata – era dura come una suola di scarpa e tanto insapore quanto la sua consistenza lasciava intendere. Difficile da tagliare, quasi impossibile da masticare. Un insulto per chiunque abbia mai assaggiato della vera carne. Il gran finale: il “Comicuri” (probabilmente un curry) era composto per lo più da verdure stracotte e annegato in una salsa oleosa che sapeva soltanto di origano – esclusivamente di origano. Nessuna varietà di spezie, nessun piccante, nessuna profondità di gusto. Solo origano. In quantità eccessiva.

07/06/2025: The staff was really super friendly, and there was a lady who let us order in German. To start, we had brusecca as a welcome from the kitchen, which was also really delicious. We had the pepper steak, salmon trout fillet, fries, and fried potatoes. The food was really delicious, with the fish and meat simply super tender. The carbonara was also delicious. All in all, a complete success

06/06/2025: It was a very nice surprise! Excellent food, lovely ambiance, and attentive service! It's a bit hidden, and that's perhaps a good thing in the crowded Torbole area.

08/06/2025: We stayed one night with half board.. very nice and modern rooms.. very clean.. very comfortable bed.. the dinner was very abundant and everything very good.. they brought us from appetizer to dessert.. very kind and helpful owner. The location to get to Riva del Garda is convenient.. we will definitely be back 🤩🎊

04/06/2025: We have been visiting the Seele Hotel – now Hi Hotel – regularly since its beginnings and have almost considered it our second home. The warm atmosphere, the loving surroundings, and the consistently immaculate cleanliness have delighted us time and again. We returned several times a year because we knew: Here, you feel welcome, here, you feel comfortable. A week ago, we visited the new owners for the first time. We were full of anticipation, but unfortunately, this was quickly dampened. The familiar feeling of "arriving" simply didn't seem to materialize this time. Everything suddenly seemed very cold, distant, and almost impersonal. The warm, family-like atmosphere that we had enjoyed so much over the years was gone. Unfortunately, our room had several defects that further spoiled the overall impression: The door seal was broken, making it difficult to close properly. The toilet paper holder was loose and about to fall off the wall, and the fact that they now charge an extra €15 per day for parking doesn't make things any better. The breakfast remained fundamentally the same, but the small, loving touches that once made it so special were missing, such as the homemade cake and the lovingly prepared scrambled or fried eggs. Instead, there was a ready-made scrambled egg, which seemed uninviting and, unfortunately, didn't taste great either. Overall, the hotel has changed a lot, at least in our experience. In the past, the hotel was regularly renovated and maintained; everything was thought out down to the last detail and in perfect condition. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be a top priority. Of course, we are aware that things change, but sometimes it's a shame when so much warmth and attention to detail is lost in the process. We look back with great gratitude on the many wonderful stays we were able to experience at the Seele Hotel under the previous management. However, after this last visit, it seems unlikely that we will return again.

30/05/2025: Trotzdem das Restaurant sehr voll war, klappte es mit dem Service und den Berichten einwandfrei. Wir waren begeistert von der schnellen Handhabung und trotzdem sehr guten Qualität der Gerichte. Die Pizza war eine der besten, meine Frau hatte Gnocchi mit Parmesan und Trüffel. Beides war sehr zu empfehlen.

15/06/2025: I'm Italian and very critical of pasta, especially because I saw beforehand that the same restaurant also serves Indian food. But the pasta, pizza, and fish were all delicious and authentic. I was really pleasantly surprised! The price was great, and the Aperol sorbet was also very good, which I rarely say! The atmosphere is peaceful, and the view of the mountains is beautiful and very cozy! I can really recommend it; I'll be back anytime!

16/06/2025: Restaurant at the beginning of the pedestrian area on the lake. We took the fish dishes as a couple that you see in the photo, everything very delicious and golden fried food, nice and light and fresh. Friendly staff and positive note open continuously, we had lunch practically at 4pm. For two, taking two second courses of fish and two things to drink we spent about €58
