02/09/2024: The new Sandnerpass Hut is a stunner! It is beautifully situated at around 2700 meters and when you climb up from the via ferrata and see it standing there in the sun you are speechless! The hut is very modern, well equipped and the food and drinks are great! Priced at the top end. But the taste and quality are worth it! The hosts are super nice and very friendly! We really enjoyed our stay here
02/09/2024: A masterpiece of geometry and technology which, in my humble opinion, appears perfectly in line with our times and with the future that awaits us.
I don't agree with the criticisms at all given that the structure, in addition to being perfectly connected with the color of the environment in which it is located, uses sustainable materials both externally and internally.
Let's not forget that a refuge, in addition to offering catering services, must provide shelter in case of emergency and today's dimensions certainly allow it to accommodate more people than before, where places were significantly more limited.
As for the service, the strudel was excellent, plentiful and beautifully presented.
In Italy, it is always an immense effort to embrace innovation, because sometimes we are too tied to the classic dogmas of tradition!

21/09/2024: I had dinner in this small hotel which also has a restaurant. Very clean. Delicious dishes. Excellent quality ingredients. The hostess was welcoming and very kind. If I returned to Tires I would like to stay here.
18/09/2024: We were here in a restaurant. It is better to make a reservation, but we were lucky. Very tasty, good service. I recommend

16/08/2024: Am Samstag zu Mittag bestellte ich Pfifferlinge mit Polenta. Auf meine Frage ob die Pfifferlinge mit Sahne gemacht werden, wurde mir versichert, daß es nur ganz wenig Sahne hinzugefügt wird. Ok, habe sie dann bestellt.
Es kam dann die Polenta mit wenigen Pfifferlingen in einer undefinierbaren gebunden Soße!
Schon der erste optische Eindruck ließ keinen so rechten Appetit aufkommen.
Der Geschmack bei den ersten Bissen, war dann der Südtiroler Küche auch nicht gerecht. Ich bin Südtrioler und bin jedes Wochenende auf den Bergen unterwegs und traue mir daher zwischen schlecht und gut unterscheiden zu können.
Das Essen war leider unter jeder Kritik und ich werde in Zukunft bei der Hütte kein Essen zu mir nehmen und nur, wenn unbedingt was trinken.

Rifugio Monte Cavone

27/12/2024: Se si sale sul Monte Cavone, consiglio di fermarsi a pranzo in questo rifugio perchè troverete cibo di qualità davvero elevata. Tutte le verdure provengono dall'orto locale e anche molti salumi e uova sono a km0. Tutto fresco e genuino. Bello soprattutto per i bambini perchè ci sono giochi e animali.
20/10/2024: Rifugio con caratteristiche più da ristorante considerati i prezzi non proprio contenuti.
In ogni caso splendidamente collocato in posizione panoramica e raggiungibile con un bellissimo percorso.
La cucina è rustica ma di qualità e con porzioni generose.
Il personale è gentile e disponibile anche in presenza di una notevole affluenza.
