09/01/2025: The five of us went on a great snow hike. And had a good stop.
16/12/2024: Exceptional hut! The menu is small, but everything is super refined and exquisite as the offering of a mountain hut should be. The beetroot dumplings were the best I've ever eaten, but everything else is worth it too.
Courtesy, availability and a well-kept environment do the rest: after a nice walk in the woods or at high altitude (if you take the lifts) it's exactly what you need!

04/12/2024: A welcome surprise to find this restaurant in Sarentino. Booked early we immediately felt at ease. Courtesy and professionalism in service in a modern and functional environment.
The menu offers a decent choice. The dishes we tried were excellent in quality and presentation.
The choice of wines is also good.
We will definitely be back again next year.
10/11/2024: In the center of Sarentino, kindness and professionalism. Excellent raw materials...we have been going for years and they have never disappointed us!

01/01/2025: Very nice view, top service. We spent a few lovely days with Markus the innkeeper at the end of December 2024. He looked after us in a very friendly and courteous manner until we left, we didn't miss anything. Thank you very much for that, we would love to come back. Kind regards Olga and Dirk

Nice and easy hike to Seebalm and on the way back we walked around Lake Durnholz!

06/09/2024: Very beautifully located Alm that serves delicious, homemade food with friendly service. There is a nice playground for children.
A beautiful, easy-to-do hike leads from Durnholzer See to Seeb-Alm on relatively steep forest paths in just over an hour.

31/10/2024: Ristorante della locanda nella frazione, proprio sopra al lago, con un bellissimo panorama sui monti e la valle. Una volta superata una tipica diffidenza montanara, il servizio è stato gentile ed efficiente. Abbiamo mangiato ottimi piatti locali di carne (wurstel) e di pesce (trota) coi contorni e birre alla spina. Un bel pranzo con porzioni abbondanti e prezzi adeguati.
26/08/2024: I recently visited Pension-Restaurant Jägerhof and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The service was incredibly poor from the start, with the staff being inattentive and unfriendly. However, what was truly unacceptable was what happened towards the end of our visit.While I was at the cashier paying the bill, the waiter harassed my partner. This kind of behaviour is completely inappropriate and made us feel very uncomfortable. It's shocking that such an incident could occur in a place that's supposed to provide a pleasant and safe environment for its customers.
I cannot recommend this establishment, and I would advise others to be cautious when visiting.
We will certainly not be returning.

18/02/2024: We stopped here for lunch during our ski trip. Firstly it’s convenient to have a nice restaurant on top of the mountain once you have already taken the ski lift up anyway, secondly the views from the deck are excellent and thirdly they serve nice meals (including kids meals) at a good price.

12/08/2024: Ristorante ai bordi della troticoltura. Pizza di sera. Ambiente informale. Oasi di fresco a pochi km da Bolzano. Le trote si possono pescare e mangiare sul posto oppure si possono portare a casa per un'ottima grigliata.

03/03/2024: This is the go to pit stop for food at the bottom of the slopes at Reinswald. It is the closest sit down restaurant to the car park (btw there is also a small kiosk within the car park for snacks) , ski equipment rental shop and ski school. If you are a learner and not planning on riding the gondola to the top of the mountain then this is your best bet. The pizza is good and the staff are friendly.
