07/01/2026: Absolutely love Marxnkeller. We discovered this tucked-away gem about three years ago, and it has since become our favorite pizzeria and restaurant during our ski trips to Obereggen. Max, the owner and chef, is incredibly accommodating and friendly, and his food is consistently outstanding. It is always the first choice for my children when they are asked where they want to eat.
On our first visit, we tried the traditional South Tyrolean Schlutzkrapfen, a type of ravioli made with rye and spelt flour and filled with spinach and ricotta, served in the most delicious browned butter and sage sauce. It quickly became our favorite dish, and the chef even shared the authentic recipe with us so we could make it at home. It is still one of our favorite family meals. Unfortunately, this dish is not on the menu anymore, but everything else tastes just as good.
We are always excited to return to Marxnkeller, and I recommend it with great pleasure. Definitely reserve a table in advance.

08/12/2025: This place has been a firm favourite for years! The atmosphere is spacious, yet quaint and warm. The waiters and kitchen are very efficient, and the food is varied and delicious, including the excellent pizzas! The prices are equally satisfying! Highly recommended!

17/01/2026: This is our second year back. We've found a guy who works here who really makes it stand out. Everyone's great, though, and the food is delicious and plentiful.
15/01/2026: Cafeteria food at restaurant prices. Very noisy, and both the restaurant and the bathrooms are very dirty.
Receipts at the outdoor bar are apparently optional...

08/12/2025: A retro-style restaurant serving typical Trentino dishes. We really enjoyed the canederli and ravioli.
The charcuterie platter was incredibly generous, something I rarely see.
The young woman serving the tables was always kind and smiling. The restaurant is also popular with locals. Ample parking outside. Prices are reasonable and reasonable. We'd happily return if we were to have the opportunity.

08/12/2025: We stopped at this restaurant for dinner, a group of four. Upon entry, we were greeted by the waiter who seated us in a deserted, unheated room. Despite repeated requests to move to the heated room, we were ignored until a seat finally became available in the main room and we annoyedly asked to be moved.
The service was very sketchy; the waitress (who I assume was the owner) left cutlery and napkins in the center of the table without handing them out or setting the table.
The pizzas weren't among the best I've had, being of a medium-low standard. The fries were almost raw on the pizza, and the vegetable pizza wasn't what we'd asked for. When we asked for parmesan, they brought us the grated kind you put on pasta.
And finally, the surprise was the bill!!! The prices didn't match those on the menu, but were all higher; for example, the capricciosa went from 10 to 13 euros. We won't be returning.
23/11/2025: Friendly staff, but the food takes forever and isn't worth the money. Dumplings are hard and schnitzel is oily...

24/12/2025: The food is very good despite being self-service.
We stopped for lunch on a day of skiing; we chose it a bit randomly, but it was worth it.
There are tables inside and many more outside.
The only downside is that the coffee is not good, even with the professional machine.

As for the rest, you should be ashamed:
€5.50 for a bottle of water????
You really deserved for no one to come through the door anymore.

20/07/2025: Bellissimo posto, ottimo cibo. Peccato per la lunghissima attesa per i nostri piatti, 2 ore e mezzo per poter riuscire a mangiare una pietanza, nonostante avessimo fatto la prenotazione
13/07/2025: Malga raggiungibile in poco tempo con sentiero semplicissimo da Passo Lavaze', a quota 1750 mt. Struttura caratteristica, con parco giochi esterno e pista da bowling per bambini. Mangiare molto buono e prezzi in linea con le altre malghe della zona. Ho provato i canederli, ottimi! Personale gentile e sorridente.

21/06/2024: Un piccolo paradiso a 40 min. Dal maestoso santuario di Pietralba . Luogo bucolico con acqua prati e meravigliose pinete , musica delle campane delle vacche ! Cibo ottimi materie prime di eccellenza , prezzi economici
