24/07/2025: Personale gentile e disponibile: soddisfatte tutte le richieste extra senza problemi e senza costi extra, anzi loro stessi ci hanno chiesto se mancava qualcosa. Wiener schnitzel buona senza troppa impanatura + patatine ed una salsa di ribes rossi che io ho cambiato con maionese. Mia moglie: una maglifica insalata con pollo, feta e scaglie di parmigiano bella anche da vedere. Due radler come bevande. In conclusione buona location, personale disponibile e gentile, qualità dei cibi buona, prezzo 46 eu. Una bella serata!
23/07/2025: Wir sind 2-3 x im Jahr in der Miil zum Essen und werden in nächster Zeit eher nicht mehr kommen. Das Essen ist wie immer sehr gut, aber die Portionen sind mittlerweile wirklich sehr klein geraten, vorallem wenn man den Preis bedenkt. Es hätte wieder ein schöner Abend anlässlich meines Geburtstages sein sollen, aber leider gingen wir enttäuscht und mit Hunger. Die Atmosphäre war aber wie immer sehr schön, das Personal ausnahmslos freundlich. Bitte passt die Speisen wieder dem Preis an!

05/10/2025: I recently went with a group of friends. I have to say it's one of the best restaurants serving local dishes: they have three Torggelen-themed menus! The food is very good, and you can taste the fresh, excellently prepared ingredients: here, the quality and flavor are worth the extra money. The portions are medium-large. The atmosphere is immersed in a cellar full of barrels and old memories of South Tyrolean tradition. The staff is friendly and professional, and they speak Italian like a native. RECOMMENDED!

There were many delicious things to see, but in the fall/winter, they reserve almost all dishes with pork or other ingredients. We asked for other options, but they didn't have any, so we ended up having a beer and some fries and moving on. I think people thought it was a shame because the fries were way too salty, absolutely unbearable! Such a shame.

01/10/2025: Excellent hotel. The service was extremely courteous and friendly. Very clean, everything was well maintained. It definitely lives up to its promise. A very nice, varied buffet in the morning and at lunchtime. A very "nice" wine cellar. 2-3 hour hikes directly from the hotel. A sauna, pools, and a good gym are available. It's in an extremely quiet location. The price level leads to a certain selectivity of guests, who tend to be less inclined to party.

A very beautiful, peaceful lawn near the pools.
The hotel is centrally located for visiting Merano and Bolzano.

The food tries to be sophisticated and unique, but unfortunately, the taste is so poor that it’s nearly inedible. It's really upsetting, especially considering that hotel guests don’t have other dining options on-site. To find alternative restaurants, you have to leave the property via funicular, which is inconvenient.

03/05/2025: Nous avons déjeuné dans la belle salle intérieure, la 1ère expérience en été était sur la terrasse.
L'apéro proposé était délicieux.
Tous les mets que nous avons pris étaient très bons et servis avec le sourire.
Nous y retournerons certainement.
05/02/2025: Über einen kleinen Führer mit Gastrotipps wurde ich aufs Reichhalter aufmerksam. Tolle historische Atmosphäre! Sehr freundlich der Empfang und auch der gesamte Service. Gute Weinempfehlungen. Schöne kreative Karte! Habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Es kamen etliche Einheimische zum Mittagessen....das ist ja meist ein gutes Zeichen!

01/07/2024: Leider war dieser Besuch unser Abschied vom Oberwirt, bzw. dem OW Lana. Das OW Lana war über viele Jahre während unserer Wanderurlaube unser Lieblingsrestaurant, das wir meist 3...4x besuchten, wenn wir eine Woche in Lana verbrachten. Traudi und Renato bewirteten uns immer hervorragen und auch die Angestellten waren überaus freundlich und nett. Und das Essen war ohnehin immer toll - und das in diesem wunderschönen Ambiente!
Leider hat das OW Lana nun seine Türen für immer geschlossen, was wir sehr bedauern. Wir wünschen Traudi und Renato daher für die Zukunft das Beste und hoffen, dass es Euch gut ergeht!
