11/01/2025: We have already been customers of this place many other times previously and we have always had a great time, but this time the reception staff (the lady) was rude in her ways and as far as we are concerned we will no longer return to that place and we will not recommend obviously others to go there.
08/01/2025: Wow what a nice surprise. Before arriving in Merano we stopped in this beautiful brewery. The staff is friendly, speaks German and Italian. We had two beers, two plates of tagliolini with venison ragù and a coffee. The final price €34. The portions are huge and in our case we had more meat than pasta. It was very good. Nothing to say. Parking is in front of the brewery and is subject to a fee. I highly recommend.

07/01/2025: When we are on vacation in Lana or the surrounding area. Let's come here for dinner. We often reserve a table by phone, but even if we come spontaneously you can get a table after a bit of a wait. The staff is always very friendly. The food is very good. We feel very welcome here.
05/01/2025: It is a nice, large restaurant, unfortunately there is no heating in the entire restaurant after asking the waitress, which is an unreasonable expectation for the guests in winter. It's a shame because the food is very good and the staff is friendly.
The restaurant is NOT recommended in winter and cool seasons.

16/12/2024: Yesterday (Sunday 12/15) we arrived at this restaurant/pizzeria after the deadline and we were happily surprised because the owner welcomed us with a smile, without batting an eyelid. The very kind waiter, smiling and friendly with our children, immediately accompanied us to the table while the owner took the orders. The pizza was really very good and well filled, my cutlet with French fries delicious and plentiful as was the meat carpaccio (with rocket, parmesan and cherry tomatoes) and the plate with grilled cheese taken by my husband. Along with the coffee, the owner also brought two chocolate coins to our children: truly a touch of kindness that never happens in other more well-known restaurants in the area. It warmed our hearts! Thank you, we will definitely be back!

30/12/2024: The online shop is great. Communication after ordering is a disaster. Order on December 12th. abandoned for Christmas (only ordered products that are available and can be delivered quickly). After two inquiries, supposedly shipping on December 19th. until today, December 30th. received nothing. Final request sent to the dealer today and otherwise PayPal buyer protection from next week. It's a shame, the shop would have had potential in my opinion...

We have visited this pizzeria several times and have not had any major complaints so far. What should be positively highlighted are the spacious parking lot, the sufficient number of seats in the restaurant and the friendly, hard-working service, which usually makes your stay pleasant. The pizza has always been okay in the past, although not exceptional.
Unfortunately, our impression changed noticeably on our last visit. The quality of the pizza was disappointing. The calzoncini, whose filling consisted of a minimal amount of mozzarella, a slice of salami and, at best, half a slice of ham, were particularly negative. It was really disappointing and didn't deserve the name "Calzoncini". The regular pizzas also left a lot to be desired: Mozzarella was only found in the center, and the toppings seemed sparse and economical.
We hope that this criticism is taken seriously, as the restaurant, with its otherwise positive aspects, actually has potential. Improving the quality of ingredients and preparation could certainly help keep guests coming back. At the moment, however, we unfortunately have to say that the quality of the food has decreased significantly.
We'll be happy to give the pizzeria another chance if we hear of an improvement.

27/10/2024: Schön, einfach eingerichtetes Lokal ohne Schnickschnack.
Das Essen war ausgezeichnet - Fregola Sarda mit Artischocke und Schmortomate sowie
Risotto mit Grünkohl, Birne und Roquefort.
Leider hinkt der Service der Küche nach. Wir kamen am Nachmittag vorbei mit unserer Reservationsanfrage - zuerst gab es keinen Tisch. Dann doch wieder. Dem Paar vor uns ging es genau so. Mich dünkt das nach der Masche - ich mach mich rat und dann gehts doch noch. Und leider hat uns am Ende niemand verabschiedet - so unscheinbar sind wir nun auch wieder nicht.

Leider dürfen wir davon nur sehr wenig erfahren.
Eine sehr gute Küche in einem Ambiente zum weglaufen.
Hektik, Unruhe, Lautstärke..
Durchlauf zu Küche, die Bar, laute Musik, begrenzte Essenszeiten ( wird ausdrücklich informiert und wäre sonst nicht hinderlich).
Es ergaben sich auch andere Möglichkeiten Tische zu vergeben..
Würde aber von der Bedienung nicht ermöglicht, hauptsächlich schnell, fertig, wechseln. Die zweite Welle kommt..
Mehrere Tische im Restaurant, die man nicht an Angestellte zum Geschirr abstellen geben würde…
Wir haben durchgehalten…
Wir haben es sachlich kommuniziert und hoffen für andere Gäste eine Verbesserung zu erreichen..
Für uns gibt es leider kein Wiederholen, sehr schade..

Le restaurant bar offre un panorama époustouflant.
Les pâtisseries sont à tombé, mention spéciale pour ´l’appelstrudeel’ .
Les Capucino et café sont excellents !
Bref une halte à faire sans faute avant ou après la ballade dans ce cadre idyllique.

28/08/2024: Unfortunately, another disappointment. There were still lumps of flour in the risotto and it was generally very inconsistent. The Kaiserschmarren for €14 was okay - but the price/performance ratio wasn't right at all because the portion was very small. You definitely expect more and get better/more food at every average hut - assuming what you would expect if you stayed at a 5* hotel.
The fact that you don't expect to be asked by the service 5 minutes ago or actively asked whether you would like to have a drink with 3 people on the terrace - unfortunately we still know this from last year...

01/07/2024: Leider war dieser Besuch unser Abschied vom Oberwirt, bzw. dem OW Lana. Das OW Lana war über viele Jahre während unserer Wanderurlaube unser Lieblingsrestaurant, das wir meist 3...4x besuchten, wenn wir eine Woche in Lana verbrachten. Traudi und Renato bewirteten uns immer hervorragen und auch die Angestellten waren überaus freundlich und nett. Und das Essen war ohnehin immer toll - und das in diesem wunderschönen Ambiente!
Leider hat das OW Lana nun seine Türen für immer geschlossen, was wir sehr bedauern. Wir wünschen Traudi und Renato daher für die Zukunft das Beste und hoffen, dass es Euch gut ergeht!
