02/06/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was truly impressed by the quality and attention to detail. The cuisine is refined, with dishes that surprise with their originality and balanced flavors. A real added value is the sommelier: friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable, he was able to recommend wines that perfectly matched our dishes, with personalized and targeted suggestions that further enhanced the gastronomic experience. Among the dishes we tried, the seafood carbonara was a true experience to remember. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience an evening of taste, professionalism and a welcoming atmosphere.

02/06/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner and we had a great time. The cuisine is of a good standard, with well-executed dishes and quality ingredients. The service was attentive, especially the sommelier, who recommended excellent pairings and helped us discover interesting wines, enhancing the meal without being intrusive. The restaurateur was also very kind, and contributed to making the atmosphere welcoming and pleasant. Definitely a place to return to with pleasure.

12/05/2025: We went on Saturday night for a birthday dinner, there were supposed to be 40 of us but unfortunately there were 32 of us, and in the end without telling us anything they made us pay for the 8 who weren't there, something like this has never happened!!! The service was really terrible, I've never been treated rudely by waiters in my life, not only did they answer badly to me but to most of the table... they served us quickly as if they wanted to send us away... we were eating the first course and at the table next to us they were already pulling up chairs on the tables to make things difficult for us, the agreed price included things that some diners never received but as said before we also had to pay for those who weren't there A very bad experience... I don't recommend it, too bad many years ago it was a completely different restaurant.

14/05/2025: Siamo ritornati con piacere al Merlo ed è sempre una bella esperienza in questo locale elegante, posizionato sulla spiaggia con un rigoglioso giardino ben curato.. La cucina è raffinata, ben curata e di qualità elevata con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Il servizio sempre molto cordiale, disponibile e professionale. Ritorniamo sempre molto volentieri e lo consiglio agli amanti del buon gusto.

10/05/2025: Very particular place, with a beautiful panoramic view, the food is decent, nothing special, but the quality of the food is good, even the portions. A good selection of local wines too. Also recommended place for a dinner with friends or a romantic dinner. Good value for money.

07/05/2025: A very nice Osteria with a great view. Food was very good for an Osteria. We had the mixed Tuscan starters, fresh pasta and tagliata. Very good wines (bottle). Very nice host.

02/06/2025: Dinner directly on the beach: simple environment, kind waiters and food I would say 6.5/7 out of 10. Let's say that for 90% of people it is ok, it is not a high-level restaurant, but all in all considering the price it is well balanced. I do not give 5 stars because in my opinion there is room for improvement a bit on everything.

18/05/2025: Good evening, we went to lunch today unfortunately negative experience. Unfortunately having arrived before 13.00 disappointing service. At 14.00 they still hadn't served us the first courses. When we asked the waiters for information they told us that there had been a mix-up in the kitchen and that we would have to wait even longer, when the tables next to us that arrived after us had already finished eating. The feeling was that regular customers are taken care of more. So after the appetizer and coffee we left. Very disappointing service.
