12/11/2023: Family run place, located in the centre. It has some tables outside and some seats inside. Good pizza and first courses, I didn't have the opportunity to try the salads. Takeaway is in high demand, best to book. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend it, even for a simple snack.

10/03/2024: Questo posto è la prova che L aspetto è il look non contano!! Locale basic e tavoli tipo osteria /bar….ma il gusto spartano diventa sincero e a regola d’arte quando si gusta la cucina ! Ben fatto!

Ottimo rapporto qualita/prezzo, nonostante sia aumentato tutto, loro riescono ancora ad avere degli ottimi prezzi e soprattutto delle porzioni abbondanti. Servizio fantastico e soprattutto veloce, lo consiglio x un'ottimo pranzo al volo. Diffidate dalle brutte recensioni, la concorrenza è tanta e molto invidiosa! Brave ragazze del Margherita e avanti così!!!!!

06/04/2024: Brunette waitress with a bun very unsympathetic when taking orders. We asked for 3 starters, after half an hour they told us that one (the red prawn tartare) wasn't there... from 8.45pm we started eating at 10.30pm, They didn't even ask us how the Fiorentina was cooked 😅😅

21/04/2024: Homemade atmosphere. Fixed menu, very good food: rich starter, two excellent first courses, 2 second courses of very tender and tasty meat, homemade dessert, coffee and digestives. All friendly waiters. Compliments.

06/02/2024: Kindness and helpfulness are the order of the day at Bar Progresso. I congratulate the bartenders, really nice and professional. For me, it was my first time and it was a pleasant discovery. With the daily rhythms it is not easy to keep your nerves, calm and smile. Top products, delicious cream donut and coffee. When I happen to pass through Grosseto again I will definitely return to enjoy another excellent breakfast!

04/02/2024: In my experience, the worst pastry shop I've ever entered. It made me look bad to friends who had invited me to lunch. I'm talking about the pastry shop, not the bar. I got a cake with fruit on top. Apart from the exorbitant prices. But who do you think you are? Meh. Then it was frozen!!!! It wasn't fresh. Who knows when it was!!! The fruit was all mushy and was clearly old. We tasted it and there was ice in it. We waited some more and tasted it again in the afternoon. What a horror!!! The cream had liquefied as it thawed and the fruit had collapsed. Also worth throwing away for the taste, horrible bitter and mushy. For me it's worth less than one star. If you want to make a good impression, go elsewhere. From true professionals in the sector. I wasted a lot of money to make this look good. Elsewhere the prices are lower and the quality is waaay better. Never again in this pastry shop. You fool me once, not twice.

24/05/2024: A nice place with very friendly staff. Room small but nice. The bed was narrow but clean. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Even though we had already booked a year ago but couldn't come because of my accident, we were able to reschedule it for this year. Thank you very much again for that. Unfortunately the wild boar was too hard, and the staff apologized very politely for that. We would like to come again.

17/02/2024: We went to the pastry shop in via Giulio Cesare. For her tenth birthday, my daughter decided to treat her friends to breakfast. The service and welcome were excellent. We had notified them a few days before and they showed us a set table, a greeting card and were very courteous. Excellent desserts and coffee. Thank you for the service you have provided.

24/03/2024: Few places. Just as usual I like it. Welcome in full Maremma spirit so go there if you like to enter with a smile and leave with a laugh...no culinary hyperbole or lounge music environment (there's that on the radio and that's fine). Fixed menu and house wine to be included if you fast for the day and are not a teetotaler. Then if it suits you, you can spend the evening chatting with the manager and the partner and exchanging a lot of interesting opinions. Go there if you don't have a phobia of useless food photos and if you have company and are up for a nice evening.

10/03/2024: Not to return. Meat brought on a hot plate between smoke and flames (they say that meat should not be cooked over a flame because it is carcinogenic). I tell him that I'm allergic to pepper and chilli and he brings me the pici loaded with pepper and tells me to remove the ones with the pepper and eat the ones underneath.... I ask for butter and sage and they tell me that they didn't buy the sage. Small place that to avoid the smoke the central door was opened and therefore frozen to death... not to be repeated

05/09/2023: We spent the month of August and had a really good time. Helpful and pleasant staff. Excellent cuisine. Weekend with themed dinners and after dinner with music and dance. Lively and cheerful establishment. To be recommended.
