01/08/2025: La Rocca at Castelfalfi is a dream come true if you enjoy masterfully prepared dishes that are composed of locally sourced ingredients and combine flavor and texture in ways you can't imagine. Chef Davide De Simone and his crew really outdid themselves with incredible combinations. Every course of the tasting menu was exceptional and creative, but the escargots and the risotto just blew us away. As always, the people make the difference, in our case Mr Jacopo made us feel at home from the minute we stepped into the gorgeous dining room. His knowledge of the dishes, ingredients and preparation techniques was outstanding, but above all he was a kind person with a captivating smile - and outstanding Spanish skills :-) Thank.you for a wonderful evening, Valeria and Daniel

The mountaintop setting alone is worth the journey, offering sweeping panoramic views that stretch from vineyard-draped valleys to distant alpine peaks. But it’s what’s on the plate—and in the glass—that truly elevates this experience into the realm of the unforgettable. The cuisine at La Rocca is a masterful ode to Italian tradition, infused with inventive flair. Each course is a symphony of flavor and presentation. The locally sourced ingredients shine, and the wine pairings—curated from the resort’s private cellar—are simply impeccable. Service was superb from the minute of our arrival. We were seated in a dining room all to ourselves with breathtaking views and access to the outside. The Manager, Enea and our server, Matteo were outstanding in their hospitality. They were warm and intuitive, striking the perfect balance between attentive and unobtrusive. The staff’s knowledge of both food and wine is impressive, and their genuine passion for hospitality adds a personal touch that lingers long after the final course. Dining at La Rocca feels like being invited to a secret table at the top of the world—a place where time slows, flavors deepen, and every detail is designed to delight. Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply seeking an extraordinary escape, this mountaintop gem is a must-visit. It’s not just a meal—it’s a memory.

19/05/2025: We waren er op basis van een aanbeveling die zeker niet gelogen was. Het vriendelijke personeelsvoorziening de gasten van voortreffelijke gerechten klaargemaakt op basis van eerste klasse producten. Gemoedelijke en aangename sfeer.

26/09/2025: It could be better! We ended up at Cucco on a rainy day in late summer. The waitress greeted us chewing gum and looking bored. The terrace was understandably closed, and the ambiance in the dining room was intentional but incomplete. A cold, unloving room, where even the shabby-chic wooden chairs without cushions couldn't create a cozy atmosphere. A boom box blaring pop music attempted to drown out the kitchen's fan. The bread served was absolutely tasteless, as was the truffle on the starter. The pasta with Gorgonzola sauce and the gnocci with asparagus sauce were okay. Two glasses of "house wine," a bottle of water, a starter (bread with raclette cheese and truffle), and two pasta dishes between the courses at €54 were unjustified. Very functional, but not enjoyable.

06/10/2025: Family atmosphere, excellent dishes, decent wine list, friendly and helpful owners and truly excellent traditional dishes. Recommended to everyone.

30/09/2025: We were here for an aperitivo before dinner. There were locals sitting at the bar and we chatted with them. The staff and all the local guests were friendly even though we were foreigners
