04/04/2025: Dopo un anno di preparativi siamo arrivati al giorno del matrimonio ieri, Giovedì 3 Aprile e devo dire che è andato tutto stupendamente, complice principale questa bellissima cornice naturale, con un lago immerso nel verde ai piedi di questo bellissimo ristorante dove il cibo è semplicemente divino e lo staff fantastico: Alberto, il nostro anfitrione, è l'esatta definizione di professionalità, cordialità e disponibilità; la figlia è un'esplosione di solarità e simpatia, col suo sorriso a 32 denti; menzione speciale alla donna che ho identificato come capo sala, Marianna, un generale tra i camerieri (impeccabili), sempre pronta a cogliere e soddisfare tempestivamente le nostre richieste, superba. Sceglierei di nuovi Il Lago "Eventi" per il mio matrimonio? Tutta la vita! Sono stati i nostri angeli in paradiso durante il giorno più bello della nostra vita.

17/05/2025: This was our second time there and we only visited the restaurant. The chef personally serves. He is polite and professional. There is a good selection of Tuscan dishes and an excellent wine list, with very competent explanations from the chef upon request.

29/05/2025: Don't be fooled by the outside, this is one of the best pizzerias we found in Tuscany! The staff is super friendly, the pizzas are great and even the house wine is good.

29/04/2025: If you order a starter the waiter makes everything in front of you and it’s a very nice show. For the main dish I ordered filet steak and it was very delicious the potatoes with BBQ were amazing and the steak melted in your mouth. We were here on the vacation and if you are near its a absolutely good experience!

13/04/2025: Un viaggio tra gusto, storia e raffinatezza Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di cenare in una splendida rocca del 1400, sapientemente ristrutturata, che conserva tutto il fascino del tempo arricchito da un'eleganza contemporanea. La serata è iniziata con un aperitivo in terrazza, accompagnato da una vista suggestiva e un'accoglienza impeccabile. Il menù "Primavera d'autore" è stato un'esperienza culinaria straordinaria. Ogni piatto, curato nei minimi dettagli, ha saputo stupirci con ingredienti ricercati e abbinamenti inediti, sorprendenti e perfettamente equilibrati. L’armonia dei sapori e la bellezza delle presentazioni parlano di una cucina creativa, consapevole e profondamente ispirata. L’abbinamento dei vini, selezionati e spiegati con grande competenza da un sommelier preparatissimo, ha esaltato ogni portata, creando un percorso sensoriale completo e coerente. Un plauso anche all’attenzione al cliente, davvero impeccabile: ogni gesto del personale trasmette passione, professionalità e cura. Un'esperienza che va ben oltre la cena: un viaggio nei sapori, nella storia e nell’eccellenza.

16/03/2025: Very nice, romantic, very nice place. The garden at the entrance is very well kept. From the garden and the fortress you can see a beautiful panorama, green hills, a pond and fairy-tale houses. The Fortress can be reached along a pedestrian street. It's just a shame that during this period the local shops are closed, including the ice cream shop. Anyway worth visiting.
