17/11/2025: Very cozy wine bar in the downtown Marsala, offering an excellent selection of local wines and a great service with a guided distinction between wines and Marsala spirits. All immersed in a soft lounge music. Worth a visit, but bring a designated driver with you!

30/10/2025: A glass of Marsale, some local canapés, and a chat with the wine shop owners made us feel right at home. The positive experience wasn't just the tasting, but the whole experience, as described. Every place I visit in Sicily leaves me with an indelible memory. A warm greeting from the people of Alto Adige.

02/11/2025: Service! Service was invented here! The room perfectly matches the location—not overly luxurious, but everything is there and impeccably maintained. The location? The location is truly breathtaking. For lovers of fine wines, refined breakfasts, culinary dinners, and a pool with a view: this is a place to return to. I can't wait to go back. "Two photos don't say enough... it's even more beautiful in person. Judge for yourself!"

30/10/2025: Staff: Staff were lovely and very attentive. Room: Spacious, comfortable, nice amenities. There was a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch. Restaurant: Breakfast was great, lots of choice and it's all high quality. The wasps swarming the breakfast area was the only negative but that can't really be helped. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, just to try it out. I had the worst steak I've ever had here, truly terrible. Prices are insanely high too Bar: We avoided the bar entirely due to the ridiculous prices. We went to the wine tasting one evening because we thought it would be something special to do in the hotel, it cost €50 per person which is crazy given the cost in other local wineries. Location: you will need a car to get everywhere, it's very remote. All in all, I was happy enough with the hotel as a place to sleep and have breakfast. I wouldn't return because it's very limiting being so remote, especially when the hotel is charging 3-4x the prices of anywhere else for food/drinks.

08/11/2025: A wonderful experience this morning! The girl was absolutely adorable and very knowledgeable. I love Sicilians for their cheerfulness and warm welcome ♥️ The cannoli were amazing!!

24/10/2025: Excellent cannoli, filled freshly, of course. The shell is fragrant and crispy. The ricotta is delicious, fresh, and chunky, giving the impression of being hand-mixed. We enjoyed them for breakfast with a coffee; they cost €2.50 each. It's a small place, and we were lucky enough to be the only ones inside and have a table and chairs. The hostess was very kind. Highly recommended!

24/11/2025: The menu was very varied, including the wine list. The dishes we chose were both pleasing in presentation and taste. For four of us, including an excellent bottle of wine, we spent €170. The owner was extremely kind and very precise in her recommendations. We felt pampered. We will definitely be back.

22/11/2025: I don't usually leave reviews unless it's truly worth it. This is the case with Osteria Siciliando. We were greeted with extreme warmth, and were shown the menu and off-menu options (a good variety of meat, fish, and vegetarian options, depending on seasonal availability). We chose the tonnara platter as an appetizer, consisting of various types of tuna and bottarga cured meats, exquisite and very unique. The fish-based first courses were equally delicious: spaghetti with octopus ragù and calamarata with grouper, shrimp, and eggplant; generous portions and high-quality ingredients (the amount of fish and seafood in the pasta was also generous, unlike many other restaurants). For the main course, we chose stuffed squid in squid ink, accompanied by a glass of dry Gibelè zibibbo, all for about €45 per person. It's definitely one of the best restaurants I've recently tried, given the excellent combinations and quality of the ingredients, as well as the preparation and kindness of the staff.

08/11/2025: Chef Maurizio is a storyteller, a traveler, a tour guide, and, among other things, a chef 😉. The swordfish arancini are fabulous, the fried fish is varied and dry, and the boiled octopus is abundant and flavorful. And finally, the bread with a crispy crust. Highly recommended.

09/11/2025: Everything was very good; we tried the pizza and the fried pasta with panelle. The staff was friendly and cheerful. Service was quick. They're only open in the evenings.

01/11/2025: You need reservations. We arrived 30 minutes after opening to an empty restaurant. After another half an hour, the place was full. The ambiance was Great- it was like watching a family reunion with all of the locals out enjoying a Friday night. The service was excellent! I had the Stuffed Calamari which was very tasty, but I prefer the simple Calamari al Forno. The Spaghetti Vongole was full of Clams and tasty. Salads were good and as expected. Steak was ok- a little chewy, but the Roasted Potatoes, as simple as they were- absolutely delicious! A great experience!

07/11/2025: A small, authentic trattoria just outside Marsala. Great atmosphere, wonderful and friendly service, and many local specialties. The Caponata Siciliana as a starter was especially delicious!

10/09/2025: Grumpy as hell He doesn't know what kindness or politeness is September. There's no one on the beach. It's a cloudy, windy day, almost raining. I ask for a simple, slightly warmed chocolate croissant. The first time, he pretends not to hear, and passes it to me cold. The second time, thinking he hadn't heard me, I politely ask if he can warm it up for me. He starts cursing, making hand gestures and muttering strange things, and then throws the plate in front of me on the counter. At this, I'm incredulous because I don't understand his problem. It was clear he was mad at me. I ask him if this kind of treatment is normal, because if he couldn't warm it up, he could just say so clearly and it would have been over with. He continues gesturing in vain, telling me that it's still warm in September and that croissants don't heat up. Is everything okay?

28/09/2025: Just outside the center of Marsala. Very well maintained, the owners and staff are truly friendly and helpful. To let us eat in peace, the owner offered to push the stroller since the baby was falling asleep. We declined so as not to disturb us, but it was a truly appreciated gesture and not at all expected. The food, what can I say? From the appetizers to the pizzas to the first courses, everything was truly delicious. We will return to Marsala, and we will definitely return to this restaurant.

05/11/2025: We spent a couple of nights at this property. The baglio is architecturally beautiful, and the internal courtyard is truly charming. We really appreciated the welcoming, kind, and professional service, both at the reception and in the dining room. The breakfast was well-curated with homemade products—delicious cakes and jams—and the kindness of the staff in providing Greek yogurt and low-fat plain yogurt as requested. 🙃 The rooms are simple and unpretentious. The mattress isn't very comfortable—trying to fix it with a rather thick topper, unfortunately, didn't improve the quality. The restaurant on the property is pleasant, the dishes are carefully prepared, and the selection leaves room for all palates; the waiter in the dining room was very, very friendly.

19/10/2025: We had a tasting... they welcomed us despite the very short notice. Manuela, our guide, took us on a tour of the cellars and conveyed all the love she and the owners have for this place. An enchanting place, created with love for their land. We'll be back... congratulations!

01/11/2025: As usual, when we arrive, Michele wears white gloves and rolls out a long red carpet at our feet, always professional and attentive, meticulous, precise and respectful of those who spend their money with him... I personally have recommended him to several friends and he has never made me look bad, in fact they have all returned willingly... Well done Michele, well done everyone... You are among the 'friends' restaurateurs whose trust I most trust

19/10/2025: We were drawn to this place by the people who recommended it, as well as by the positive reviews. I had made a reservation since it was Saturday, and as soon as we arrived, it was chaos; they didn't know where to put us. After five minutes, they sat us at a tiny table that literally couldn't fit; I didn't know where to put my bag and coat. We were in the aisle leading to the register. We spent the whole evening in absolute chaos, with waiters passing trays in front of us, calling out to each other and shouting, it felt like a long table with all the other guests, zero privacy. We had the burger, and it wasn't bad, but mediocre. It left me hungry and not at all satisfying. We waited for the waiters to ask us if we wanted dessert or something else, but we waited and no one came. At a certain point, we left. We will definitely not return. A chaotic place with zero comfort.
