21/08/2025: Excellent wine shop; we were there for three days straight, sampling Marsala and more. Excellent wines and delicious canapés. Christian was friendly and knowledgeable; it's a shame we had to leave!

27/07/2025: We spent three nights at Baglio Oneto, which we will always remember. I proposed to my girlfriend during this time, and the entire team did everything before and during our arrival to make this day and our stay extra special. Many thanks again to the entire team. This historic hotel is in an idyllic and peaceful location, perfect for relaxation. The breakfast was particularly varied, and the dinner was excellent. We would love to come back. 24/08/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, as the other "more popular" ones were fully booked. If I ever return to Marsala, it will be a must-try. Everything was excellent, from the parmigiana to the busiate pasta with Trapanese pesto and the swordfish stew. We had a bit of a wait to order and then between courses. However, the owner personally apologized, explaining that since it's a family-run restaurant and everything is made fresh, the dishes take longer to prepare. In any case, the wait was definitely worth it with the food and the kindness of the staff. Excellent value. If you're in Marsala (and you're not in a hurry), highly recommended!

24/08/2025: I ate at this restaurant based on the average Google reviews. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't positive. My girlfriend and I waited 40 minutes to place our order. The waitress then returned after another 15 minutes, telling us that our dishes (seafood couscous) were out of stock. We tried other dishes, such as seafood risotto, with little success. In the end, my girlfriend ordered grilled sea bream with a side salad at the waitress's suggestion. At the end of the meal, the satisfied waitress offered us a huge €3 discount on an incredibly high bill: €83 for an appetizer shared between two, two main courses, a small Coke, and a water. Absolutely avoid!

Canned ratatouille Very poor, tasteless Sicilian salad, canned green beans, a roughly chopped tomato, a boiled potato cut into quarters, small pieces of olives, etc. Very dry and terrible Marsala wine A real disgrace to Italian and Sicilian cuisine! Avoid!

23/08/2025: An excellent and beautiful location, it's the perfect setting for my birthday celebrations every summer. I highly recommend it for everything related to the service, with attentive staff ready to satisfy all our requests. Not to mention the excellent food, from appetizers to first courses to main courses, and not to mention my favorite salad, "La Sfiziosa," which is simply amazing. 10/09/2025: Grumpy as hell He doesn't know what kindness or politeness is September. There's no one on the beach. It's a cloudy, windy day, almost raining. I ask for a simple, slightly warmed chocolate croissant. The first time, he pretends not to hear, and passes it to me cold. The second time, thinking he hadn't heard me, I politely ask if he can warm it up for me. He starts cursing, making hand gestures and mumbling strange things, and then throws the plate in front of me on the counter. At this, I'm incredulous because I don't understand his problem. It was clear he was mad at me. I ask him if this kind of treatment is normal, because if he couldn't warm it up, he could just say so clearly and it would have been over with. He continues gesturing in vain, telling me that it's still warm in September and that croissants don't heat up. Is everything okay?

24/08/2025: We stayed two nights and had a really good time. The tasting menu with a platter was also excellent. I only recommend expanding the breakfast selection, but everything was excellent.

18/08/2025: We booked Baglio Donna Franca as our wedding venue for our ceremony and reception party. Paola and her team were welcoming and helpful in offering us an opportunity to create our dream wedding vision across all parts of the venue. Very good communication throughout the process. Room are comfortable for guests to stay in and the sunset views by the pool are mesmerising. They have the most delicious selection of wine from the vineyard which us and many wedding guests have brought back to the UK.

29/08/2025: We ordered burgers, but unfortunately they were a huge disappointment. The veal was very fatty and hard to eat. I asked for another burger, but that was also disappointing: the meat was burnt and dry. A burger should be a simple dish to prepare, but evidently not everyone is capable of it. To make the experience worse, they even charged us for the burger, which we hadn't finished. This place is definitely to be avoided.
