12/07/2026: An embarrassing experience in every way. An interminable wait, a room full of people complaining about the same things, and completely disorganized service. I ordered a pizza with prosciutto, shavings, and porcini mushrooms: it arrived without the mushrooms. I asked for oil and they brought me vinegar. My father and I, trusting the waiter, both put it on the pizza, ruining it. I pointed out the two mistakes. About the oil, they replied, "I made a mistake; I'll bring you the oil now." About the mushrooms, however, they said, "If you give me the pizza, I'll put them on." Not even an "excuse me." At that point, all that was missing was salt and iceberg lettuce, and you'd served a salad. I politely asked them to report everything to the owner, hoping at least he'd come to the table to apologize or find out what had happened. No one showed up. Mistakes happen, but the arrogance, indifference, and total lack of customer service are unacceptable. The worst thing is that we weren't the only ones: the entire dining room was a constant hubbub of complaints about endless waits and poor service. It's one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a pizzeria. I'll never go back, and honestly, I can't recommend it to anyone.

12/08/2026: Absolutely terrible review, I'll explain why. I chose this restaurant precisely because it's part of the AIC (Italian Celiac Association) gluten-free network. Once I arrived, I was given the menu and told that it was not possible to order fried fish because they don't have a separate kitchen and, therefore, cannot guarantee its safe preparation. However, I pointed out that, precisely because the restaurant is part of the AIC (Italian Celiac Association), I would have expected a broader gluten-free selection and, above all, a menu that allowed me to eat certain dishes, such as fried fish, without having to give them up. I should point out that I absolutely didn't cause a scene in front of the other tables: I entered the restaurant specifically to speak to the owners and calmly explain the reason for my concerns. I also clearly stated that I would remain at my table and that I would certainly enjoy an excellent dinner. My intention was simply to make it clear that I had chosen that restaurant precisely because, being an AIC (Italian Celiac Association), I expected a more complete gluten-free experience. Unfortunately, however, the owners refused to accept my comment, and I felt almost verbally assaulted, as if I had to express my gratitude simply for the fact that there were some gluten-free options. The lady continued to maintain that what I was saying was incorrect and that certain dishes were not allowed in AIC restaurants. I then explained that I've had celiac disease since I was 1 year old. I'm 32, live in Milan, travel a lot, and am well-versed in the gluten-free world and the different approaches to managing it. In many restaurants, even abroad, I've found myself served a menu virtually identical to that of the other diners, with the necessary precautions, of course. The response I received was, verbatim: "You should be grateful that you can even eat a plate of pasta without feeling sick." A statement that, frankly, I find truly out of place, especially said to someone who has lived with celiac disease all her life. By the way, the pasta I was served was truly excellent, as was the sauce, but I was offered plain spaghetti, without any particular attention to the choice of shape or the first course. To top it off, the waiter said, "You have cassata." After about ten minutes, he returned and told me the cassata was sold out. 😂 This review therefore stems from a simple consideration: in my opinion, it doesn't make much sense to belong to the AIC network and then offer an experience that, in practice, isn't that different from that of any restaurant that simply pays a little attention to gluten-free options. If I had known all this beforehand, I would have called other restaurants and asked if they could prepare certain dishes safely. Then I would have known exactly what to expect. That said, I also want to acknowledge the positive aspects: the place is truly beautiful, and the food was excellent. The pasta sauce, in particular, was truly out of this world. If the owners learned to accept constructive criticism from customers and tried to engage more with those who experience the gluten-free world on a daily basis, I'm convinced the place could improve significantly. And I'd be the first, in that case, to reevaluate my review. Oh, one last thing that made me smile: the "BIG LADY" gave everyone else at the table a €3-4 discount per person, rounding up the bill. Something definitely appreciated. For me, a celiac, however... full price. 😂 It's a shame, because the place has so much potential.

09/08/2026: The restaurant is located directly on the port of Castellammare del Golfo, offering a more than pleasant view of the sea. It has been AIC certified since 2013, so there are many gluten-free options on the menu. You can taste the fresh, well-prepared produce. The portions are just right, and the seasonings are well-balanced. A good wine selection. The price is more than fair. Highly recommended.

05/06/2026: A truly comfortable hotel, with beautifully appointed rooms, especially for a three-star hotel. I'm very satisfied with the staff, the helpful and professional girls, especially Ylenia, but also Sonia and Mr. Nicola. This is my fourth time here and I'm getting better and better every time. 10/05/2026: We stayed one night at this 3-star hotel in Scopello, paying €100 for a very basic room—a price I might have understood if the service had lived up to the reviews and the hotel's high rating. Unfortunately, however, the experience was truly awful. As soon as we arrived, we were struck by a terrible stench throughout the hotel. The worst part was definitely breakfast. Several products seemed clearly expired or poorly stored: we ate pan di stelle (a kind of sweet bread) that tasted terrible, the expired toast, and even the chocolate cereal was inedible. My boyfriend was sick all day after breakfast with food poisoning symptoms, and we had to cancel the entire day. Furthermore, the hotel offers virtually no special amenities, making the price even more unjustified. Overall, a very disappointing experience and definitely not worthy of a 3-star rating.

14/08/2026: Good food and an amazing view. We arrived just before sunset and could easily find a parking spot.

13/08/2026: We've had pizza at this restaurant twice, and it was good both times. There are plenty of waiters, as it's a really large place, but it has a wonderful view. The only downside is the almost non-existent parking.

09/10/2025: A one-of-a-kind venue, perfect for an aperitif or a drink. You can sit along a staircase leading from the main street in Castellammare's pedestrian area. The tables are small but well-appointed, perfect for the idea of ​​sitting along the stairs. The aperitif includes a platter of cured meats, cheeses, and olives; chips and peanuts are also brought. The price is fair considering the quantity and the location. Highly recommended!
