03/01/2026: Last night, because I'm writing this at 2:00 AM, I visited this restaurant with my girls. Obviously, I thought for a moment so as not to write a hasty review motivated only by my disappointment. We sat at seat 14 and ordered a few items. The only appetizer, potatoes with cheese and speck, were delivered without the last two ingredients, so they were remedied by bringing back the same dish rearranged with the two missing ingredients. I didn't think it was nice, but in the end, they were potatoes! What justified my review, however, was the plate of gratinated mussels, ordered by my daughter. The dish contained twenty miscounted mussels, one of which emitted a nauseating stench. I don't want to lecture anyone, but if my daughter didn't have that questionable habit of smelling food, maybe I'd be writing this review from the emergency room and not from my room.

14/08/2026: If you're looking for authentic, excellent Messina focaccia, this is the place! The one with anchovies absolutely won us over: a truly unique treat. Beyond the excellent food, what really makes the difference is the welcome: the owner is a delightful person, incredibly kind and friendly. Even though we didn't have a reservation, she greeted us with a smile and found us a table in no time. Service was quick and efficient. We couldn't help but return the next evening! A well-deserved five stars.

24/08/2026: We arrive and the waiters are just staring at each other. After 10 minutes, they finally come and ask if we want to eat. We order a fish platter: a large portion, yes, but completely flavorless, inedible. €25 per person wasted. Avoid. Never again. Honestly, the kebab place nearby is much better.

12/08/2026: Riviera is truly one of our favorite places in Sicily! We come here every year, and it has become a tradition that Riviera is always our first stop when we arrive in Sicily. It simply wouldn’t feel like we were back without coming here.
The food is consistently incredible fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seafood is outstanding, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is always warm and attentive. Year after year, the quality never disappoints.
What makes Riviera especially memorable is the hospitality. We are always welcomed so warmly and made to feel at home from the moment we arrive. It’s more than just a restaurant for us; it’s part of our Sicily tradition and something we look forward to every year.
If you’re visiting Santa Teresa di Riva, Riviera is an absolute must. We already can’t wait to come back next year. Grazie mille for always making our first meal in Sicily so special! 🇮🇹❤️

06/07/2025: Lido molto bello! Spiaggia pulita e ordinata e acqua cristallina. I bagnini sono stati gentili e disponibili, sempre pronti a fornire assistenza.
Attrezzature ben tenute, con sdraio e ombrelloni comodi e puliti. Servizio di ristorazione eccellente, con piatti deliziosi e prezzi ragionevoli.
Personale cordiale e accogliente, sempre pronto a soddisfare le nostre esigenze.
