17/10/2025: Excellent bar before sealing to the Eolian Island. The granita is a must. You have to eat it. This is the typical sicilian breakfast. Try any flavours, they are all good. The place is a bit chaotic; therefore, I advise you to not wait your turn before ordering. The best solution is to approach the bar and ask.

15/10/2025: Stopped here before taking a ferry. Had a good coffee and cold draught beers (they have lots of beverages available). They have loads of sweet and savoury pastries on show, perfect portable food to takeaway if you don’t have time to eat. It’s also easy to point to items should you not speak Italian! We sat outside (so menu costs a tiny bit more for table service) as was nice to sit and room for suitcases. Really lovely waitress, appreciated her good English. I liked the retro interior, please never change it :) Lots of Italians drinking at the bar so must be good coffee. The perfect pit stop.

30/07/2025: While passing through Milazzo, I discovered this deli and bar by chance. I had an immediate positive impression. The staff were friendly and helpful; they professionally put together a plate of exquisite appetizers accompanied by a delicious cutlet. I highly recommend it.

13/11/2025: There isn't a better pizza in the entire province of Messina (and beyond), I've tried ALL of them, all the flavors... every time it's a dilemma deciding which one to choose... but I recommend the Segreto di Ape Nera... try it... and prepare yourself... it's addictive. 19/08/2025: This place embodied what keeps Sicily from standing out above all others. A dinner for vacationers with a craving for meat. Five of us showed up and were seated at a table inside, which I was forced to appreciate, despite the heat and the mere presence of fans, since everywhere outside, people are still allowed to smoke rudely in front of those eating. People need to be legally obligated; respect and civic duty are nonexistent. Luckily, we were first to arrive, even though it was 8:00 PM. So, no delays with service. We skipped the first courses, ordering three appetizers to share and five second courses: fillets, tagliata, veal cheek, as well as a good 2017 Sicilian wine. All excellent. What's the flaw? The side dish for the two beef fillets, as per the menu, was "ash-fried potatoes"; the other three second courses included mashed potatoes. When the dishes arrived, they all contained mashed potatoes. Naturally, we prefer to eat hot, but as soon as one of the staff approaches, I ask why the side dish was changed from the menu, adding with a smile, "Maybe the chef didn't feel like making the potatoes à la citron." Unless I misunderstood, I was told the chef was on vacation and was handed the menu so I could verify what I was already sure of. Nothing more. I don't apologize for the forced change, but at least offer a half-word to justify it. Nothing at all. At the end of the dinner, I ask another woman in the dining room about it, who tells me they had a reception at lunch that messed everything up. End of excuse... But can you? If I order a pizza with chopped cherry tomatoes, can you just bring it to me with the sauce and not care? It's still tomato, right? What was the point of coming to the table before the dishes arrived and saying a few words about it? Who would have objected? Oh well, in Sicily, simmu cussi! I pay the bill, after pointing out the extra glass of wine I'd ordered before opting for the bottle, which is promptly deducted. I thank them for the excellent meat (not the side dish), say goodbye, and leave. Nothing is missing from achieving excellence. Except, perhaps, it doesn't matter. And as a native of the island, that's precisely what bothers me.

19/11/2025: Quality, home-style food. The staff are truly welcoming. It's like eating at your mom's...

18/11/2025: The focaccia was inedible!! Full of oil, it tasted like soup. I also had some fried arancini and some French fries, which were less oily than the focaccia. It was truly disgusting. I had to throw it away. The French fries tasted like fish, and the pistachio arancini only had a few chopped pistachios inside. Never again.

26/11/2025: In years past, this restaurant was one of my favorites. Unfortunately, recent visits haven't confirmed those positive memories. Prices have increased significantly, but the quality of the dishes hasn't kept pace. The dishes are lacking in flavor and, considering the high prices, significantly below expectations. I sincerely hope the restaurant regains the quality that made it special.

12/08/2025: Nothing to say. Everything was perfect. They seated us, despite the late hour, welcoming us with great courtesy and kindness. All the dishes served were excellent and carefully prepared. Honorable mention for the lobster sauce: special.

09/08/2025: Attention to detail, dishes carefully crafted and executed to perfection. Superb wait staff. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Compliments to the entire staff!

20/10/2025: I've been to many pizzerias in Milazzo. I'm a regular and almost never change places. One evening, when the pizzeria I usually go to was closed, we stopped here. I can't say enough good things!!! It was packed outside and more than half the dining room inside, being a Saturday night. They came right away to bring us drinks. They took our order shortly after, and the pizzas arrived in less than half an hour, especially considering the place was packed and takeout was always on the way... A small discount on the final bill too. Very fragrant pizza and light dough. Very well topped! Congratulations guys, keep it up!! See you soon!!!!

20/09/2025: Divine cuisine, let yourself be guided by the catch of the day, you will not be disappointed! Typical, romantic setting and plunging view of the bay of Milazzo! The charming owner, behind his desk, plays us the Italian hits of the 80s! A place to discover and especially to come back 🎉
