Excellent food as well as the welcome and service. Highly recommended. They also organize cooking classes especially for foreigners

15/05/2025: Courtesy and hospitality, in a certainly pleasant environment.
The menu is a bit limited, the beef carpaccio with artichokes is good and the mussels with pepper is excellent.
The first courses need to be reviewed, spaghetti with fennel was too crowded for me, gnocchi with calamari was tasty but a bit overcooked and, at least for my taste, with too much tomato sauce.
The homemade lemon granita was very good.
10/05/2025: Tortino appetizer was incredible!! Must try. Very solid pasta dishes and tasty mains. Great local wine selection. Friendly, helpful staff. Be careful on the stairs!!

28/01/2025: The best Irish Pub you can find in the center of Sicily, excellent beer and live music on Thursday and Friday evenings. The first courses and the meat are also excellent.

22/10/2024: We went because the reviews were quite good. The food is OK, but nothing more than basic home cooking. We paid €10 for vegetables and we got a plate of watery and overcooked cavalo nero. Unless you are too tired to walk further into town I would skip this restaurant
28/09/2024: Best restaurant in the area with a great welcome, don't hesitate to take a detour before visiting the Roman villa which is 4 km away. Good and inexpensive, everything is homemade 🤗

It is located in the old town, the table service is fantastic being provided by the owner her self ( very polite and professional and also very friendly and chatty) but the food is hard to describe how delicious it is! The sea food pasta and the carbonara pasta is just perfect! The grilled pork and salciccia perfectly cooked! I don't wanna start with the caponata! Fresh veggies freshly cooked! Mumm is the best chef in town! It's a family business! And they do it well!

02/11/2024: Il ristorante Da Nino è giustamente e meritatamente rinomato per la qualità delle carni che propone. Per chi vuole provare un’esperienza di questo genere consiglio di prenotare per tempo, perchè il locale è quasi sempre pieno. Ciò nonostante, il servizio è decisamente all’altezza del compito, capeggiato dall’impareggiabile Salvo, elegante ed onnipresente. Segnalazione speciale anche per Alessio, che presiede al barbecue (autentico fulcro della cucina) e gestisce con grande talento, nonostante la giovane età, le cotture degli eccellenti tagli di carne. Il prezzo non è propriamente economico (la bistecca di scottona che vedete ritratta in allegato, da sola, è costata 44 euro), ma certamente commisurato alla qualità delle materie prime.
