20/09/2025: I ordered a panino rustico by phone, only to have it ready upon arrival, clearly specifying that, as a vegan, I don't eat Morbidone.
The first time, they made a mistake by adding mayonnaise (which wasn't requested and wasn't vegan).
I went back to have it remade, and incredibly, the second time they actually used Morbidone as the base. To make matters worse, the owner even had the audacity to ask me to pay for the incorrect sandwich the second time, instead of remaking it correctly and free of charge.
I'd like to emphasize that the counter staff has always been knowledgeable and courteous; I have no complaints about them.
The only problem was the owner's disrespectful attitude toward customers.
Over the years, I've also noticed a decline in the quality of the food. After this experience, unfortunately, I won't be returning.

08/10/2025: I'm not even going to rate the food; it wasn't good enough to make me turn a blind eye to the thing that had previously put me off any desire to eat it anyway: the price. I paid €14.50 for two regular kebabs with just meat, chips, and basic sauces, and no, I didn't include any drinks. Prices like that in a town of 40,000 inhabitants, when in Milan, Rome, Turin, or anywhere else in the province of Catania, even the best kebab shops never go above €4.50-5. It's hilarious how I have a long-standing clientele that shows no signs of diminishing; on the contrary, you won't see me again.
10/08/2025: Excellent sandwiches, very good, the cheese sauce is a delight, my favorite, the girl who makes the sandwiches is very good, professional and every time I order by phone in the end everything is right, something that never happens in other places, compliments also to the owners, a warm greeting to the great uncle Mario who now rightly enjoys his well-deserved retirement

10/06/2025: Order booked for 8:30 pm. Upon arrival we found the hot food already bagged who knows how long ago, given that the pieces were cold, terrible experience, first and last time. To be avoided!
31/03/2025: Notato sui social, in occasione di una visita a Paterno' passo da questo posto che è una eccellente sintesi tra panificio,gastronomia,bar, pasticceria. Pranzato molto bene. Pasta al forno da menzionare. Personale gentile e professionale. Da ritornarci . Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da consigliare

04/12/2023: L'unica nota stonata di questo bar,che non ti danno il menù con relativo prezzario,scopri di pagare tutto alla cassa,scarsa comunicazione tra camerieri e chi deve fare pagare il conto,mi è capitato più volte che ordini una cosa che non c'è,ne ordini un'altra ma questa variazione non è segnalata,ma paghi la prima comanda.

19/08/2024: Pranzo di ferragosto terribile. Non era nemmeno programmato che dovessimo venire qua, tra l’altro. Antipasto: bresaola su un letto di lattuga, il tutto scondito; pasta fresca alla norma, che poteva salvarsi ma così non è stato in quanto liscia come la paglia e mi ha fatto male (colpa di nessuno, la pasta fresca non la digerisco; peccato non fosse specificato nel menù, avrei chiesto di cambiarla). Ultima portata, tre polpette/medaglioni usciti male/non l’ho capito di maiale, un po’ amari. Penso fosse colpa della cottura (un po’ crudi dentro per giunta) o della demi-glace.
Di un dolcino di chiusura nemmeno l’ombra.
Il tutto? 30€ a persona.

01/01/2025: Pranzo in famiglia in un luogo tranquillo, bellissimo, adatto a tutti, un giardino splendido, uns cucina semplice e gustosa. Gli antipasti sono divini. La sala dove si mangia è il vecchio palmento, riadattato con molto gusto
