19/05/2025: Nice and welcoming place in the center of Acireale. We had to wait a bit to be seated, but on Saturday night you wait almost everywhere. The pizza was good and the chips were delicious.

25/05/2025: Thank you very much, the food was delicious and your hospitality so welcoming, especially since we don't speak Italian! This is the last dinner before returning to London after two weeks of travel, and it was the most authentic and traditional, the real Sicilian :) What a wonderful way to end our trip. 11/05/2025: We went to lunch today at this restaurant, terrible experience... we sit down at 1:30 pm after a modest wait we order 3 appetizers and 3 first courses they arrive after half an hour I would say normal good but nothing exceptional after about an hour we ask about the first courses they tell us they are in progress another 3 quarters of an hour pass and the first course arrives after a while the second but dulci simfundo the third never arrived in fact twice the wrong dishes arrived at that point we got up (it was already 4:00 pm) we went to pay without apologies and without a price reduction for the shameful inconvenience.... Highly recommended...

16/05/2025: What can I say if not superlative Mr. Orazio, the owner of this restaurant, satisfied all of us returning from a long trip starting from Malta by motorbike, coming from a Hog gathering in France where traditional food is worth trying but eating here and there non-genuine things we all finally wanted a real dinner... our Mediterranean cuisine is the best without taking credit away from other cultures. And Mr. Orazio's cuisine also satisfied the palate of our vegetarian friend. As a good Sicilian, my friend Rosy and I contacted Mr. Orazio when they were closed but then he contacted me again while I was on the ship stipulating a fantastic menu with many courses of appetizers, a first and a second course, water and wine.... honestly I would have already stopped at the appetizers, everything was delicious and plentiful. I will definitely return with my partner also to eat some good raw fish that we adore. A hug and thanks again Mr. Orazio and his staff, from Barbara and the group of motorcyclists of the Malta Chapter.

20/05/2025: Big but overrated place. If you don't book, they won't let you in, even with empty tables in sight. The staff is cold and not very attentive to the customer. Parking practically non-existent, only on the street. Disappointing experience. Good pizza but nothing special.

26/05/2025: I've been a customer for a while now... But tonight I wanted to try the bowls. In particular the chicken bowl... What can I say?! Superb... Excellent 🍜😋😍 So in addition to the mega delicious toasts... You will also find the bowls. Which are really worth trying 😊😉

07/06/2025: Arrivati per caso in questa trattoria perché eravamo di strada e affamati. Ci accoglie il proprietario chiedendo se sappiamo come funziona questo locale. Alla nostra risposta negativa ci è stato spiegato tutto ma la sorpresa è stata quando è cominciata ad arrivare una quantità industriale di antipasti. Tutto pesce,cotto,crudo,fritto...una meraviglia! Terminati gli antipasti non siamo stati in grado di mangiare altro. Abbiamo concluso con un buon sorbetto al mandarino. Qualità ottima e gentilezza da apprezzare. Grazie!

31/05/2025: In Acireale here you can find a good focaccia, thin and well-seasoned. There are also pizza trays with various ingredients sold by weight. In this case the only shame is the cheese which is not a good mozzarella. For the rest everything is pleasant and prices are normal.

07/06/2025: They accommodated us inside without a reservation which we appreciated. Most of the staff were so nice and friendly. They have this one guy who is such a douche. Other reviews refer to him as the owner and I refuse to believe that’s true, there’s no way an owner of a restaurant would act like this. He was clearly very stressed but shouldn’t take it out on customers. At one point, he spoke to me so sternly and through gritted teeth, I thought he might start shouting. Other patrons looked alarmed. We should have left at that point but it was late and we ventured all the way over there to visit this specific restaurant so we stayed. Luckily he stayed away after that (probably embarrassed that he crossed the line) and a young waiter looked after us who was so kind and attentive. We don’t speak Italian so we spoke to them in Spanish with Italian words mixed in and we communicated just fine. The food was so tasty. We had spaghetti a la sepia and frutti di mare, both dishes were delicious. We loved it. We thanked the guys behind the fish counter and in the kitchen, they are doing an amazing job. It’s a shame that one person almost ruined the entire experience. Great restaurants close every day so he should really change his attitude.

10/05/2025: A wonderful local restaurant with tasty pizza and sea food. Great value for money. The menu is only in Italian and the staff speaks little English, but it's alright. No rocket science.

25/04/2025: Nous avons dîné dans ce « petit » restaurant qui en fait est immense ! Pas de menu en français et aucun serveur ne parlait français, ni anglais d’ailleurs! Nous avons donc opté pour des pizzas qui se sont révélées bonnes et assez copieuses. La Cale avec mortadelle, pistaches et burata est surprenante mais bonne . Trois fromages sans surprise. Les bières légères . Le croquant est aussi assez « gourmand » Le verre de limoncello aurait pu être offert. Allez y pour casser la croûte sans plus . N’attendez pas que le serveur qui encaisse vous remercie ! La barrière de la langue sans doute .

25/05/2025: Servizio cortesissimo, cibo ottimo e atmosfera calda e accogliente, torneremo di sicuro! La pizza è davvero buona, inoltre hanno opzioni senza glutine e senza lattosio. Rapporto qualità prezzo conveniente.

21/05/2025: Locale elegante e ben curato. Vasta selezione di vini. Servizio puntuale e impeccabile. Ingredienti freschi e piatti abbondanti. Opzioni senza glutine molto valide. Personale gentile e dispobile, un ringraziamento alla dolce signora Cristina, che ci ha fatti sentire come a casa.
