20/02/2024: Value for money a little high. A year ago I had the arancini with both squid ink and seafood and they were delicious, the pasta with clams a little less so. Lately I haven't been happy, pasta with prawns....but no trace of prawns, the arancinetti with fish the same as there was no trace of fish. Sin...!!!

18/02/2024: Very nice restaurant in the center of Acireale, where you can enjoy good fish dishes. The mixed starter and grill are good, the fish is fresh! Friendly service and fair prices.

29/09/2024: We were the first guests, a family of three, hence, asked for a table for three. Waiter pointed at the only table for two and offered us that. It took some time to sink in until we pointed out the table was not large enough for three. Ordered two pizzas, gnocchi, water and a beer. 4 waiters humming around for 2 tables. Water showed up, beer did not. After 30min - meanwhile my beer was given to the only other table in the room- I asked the waiter if there were "any news about my beer". In fact, he came back after a few minutes with "the news" and let me know "it will be coming". Finally, 0.2 l of beer arrived for 4€. People, let me tell you, the Oktoberfest is "billig"! As a non-Italian I dare to say I know that gnocchi (a one digit number on my plate) do need more than 10 seconds in hot water and less salt than it takes to kill a horse. Their pizzas... do they get a quality check before they leave the kitchen - nah! There are cheeses and there are cheeses. Spoiled ones simply cannot be used for pizza toppings. We all thought pizza and their toppings, overall, should be hot/warm, but no avail... yes, we were made to explain why in detail we did not enjoy the food, but the waiter's "that's the way we do it" slapped us, at the same time asking "do you want a cheese cake". We were confused. And we will never find out whether he meant if we wanted a 'redemption' cheese cake on the house, or, a cheese cake made of gouda. To make matters worse and the situation more tense, they made a poor young waitress ask us, if she should doggie-bag the pizzas for us. We did not want to generate additional waste and let you decide if this all is up your alley.

14/09/2024: Location carina, puoi scegliere tra tre diversi impasti, io ho preso quelli ai cereali, buono. Ho preso una pizza con le patate’ la valletta’. Soddisfatto. Prezzi giusti

27/10/2024: Place a stone's throw from the main square of Acireale, therefore in the center... distance of the tables a little narrow but very fast service considering Saturday I would say the pizza was very good, I took the pistachio one and I was satisfied....Promoted

21/10/2024: Very good restaurant, decoration that reminds us of the sea, fishing... The waitress is very pleasant. We tasted their linguine alla scoglio (being allergic to shrimp they were able to adapt) and their very good fresh grilled fish of the day, which you can choose.

19/11/2024: Sono stato qualche tempo fa e devo dire che mi sono trovato benissimo. Dal proprietario e i camerieri al cibo che è stato davvero super,pesce freschissimo e ben cucinato.

17/11/2024: Pranzo domenicale in famiglia. Arriviamo al ristorante che si presenta subito come un ottimo locale, molto curato e moderno, così molto fiduciosi ci accomodiamo. Le nostre aspettative vengono purtroppo infrante da un pessimo servizio, organizzato malissimo e molto, ma molto LENTO. Aspettiamo 45 minuti per ordinare, 45 minuti nei quali mi dedico a dare qualche colpo d’occhio al servizio dei vari dipendenti, quello che penso fosse il titolare compreso. Quest’ultimo si dedicava alla presa delle ordinazioni, solo e soltanto lui con altre 6/7 camerieri in sala, si occupava di far accomodare la gente e di far pagare i clienti alla cassa. Più di una volta abbiamo chiamato, sempre con gentilezza, i fari collaboratori di sala ma purtroppo siamo stati quasi del tutto ignorati. Alla fine ordiniamo, mio padre ordina un antipasto ed una grigliata mista come seguito… ovviamente la grigliata arriva 15 minuti prima del suo antipasto! Per paura di una nuova e prolungata attesa non diciamo nulla e mangiamo. Cucina molto buona e saporita, probabilmente il punto a favore del locale. La ciliegina sulla torta però arriva alla fine al momento del conto. 360 euro di conto circa che chiedo gentilmente di dividere in 4 dato che ognuno aveva ordinato alla carta e quindi con cifre totalmente diverse. Sempre il presunto titolare mi risponde “no vi faccio il conto e ve la vedete voi.” Io lavoro nella ristorazione da 11 anni quasi, proprio in sala e mi permetto di dire che una cosa del genere non esiste. Se voglio dividere il conto in 4 è mio diritto farlo, come d’altronde faccio io nel locale dove lavoro attualmente ed anche nei precedenti… da persone educate quali siamo abbiamo pagato ed è finita li la storia senza fare polemiche. Consiglio vivamente di rivedere il personale e soprattutto l’organizzazione in sala perchè quando si prende una comanda al tavolo il cliente va curato, anche nell’interesse economico del locale, non liquidato velocemente per far pagare le persone alla cassa. A mai più.

02/09/2024: Doesn’t look flashy, but the food was amazing! Much better than at other, hipper looking, restaurants. Compliments, also real pizza. To our suprise a lot of places in sicily don’t have real pizza. Not antica taverna! Real pizza oven and real good pizza’s.

11/08/2024: Highly recommended, very nice focaccia which you can also personalised (I made a vegetarian version of Nero d'avola with provola, friarelli, potatoes, olives and dried tomatos. The staff is very friendly and the location outside on a Street terrace quite pleasant.

17/10/2024: I REPEAT BAD EXPERIENCE ...I don't understand why I can't find my review from a few days ago; my respectful but firm review based on objective facts was followed by a response/threat from the restaurateur who, in addition to being evasive/non-existent about the incident, evidently and promptly took steps to cancel THE VERY BAD FIGURE. It's a shame that for some restaurateurs the category comes into play RESTAURANT NOT RECOMMENDED

06/08/2024: Very good food, fast service, waiter and chef who care about customers. Restaurant close by car to our ibis hotel a little outside the city. Nice surprise, I recommend.

03/08/2024: I chose a fried Sicilian pizza, I liked it, too bad it was served on a bed of rocket which altered the flavor a bit.
