20/09/2025: Good quality restaurant, wines at very reasonable prices. When booking, be sure to specify "table in the interior courtyard" to avoid being on the terrace which is on the Place Garibaldi side: lots of noise and cars 😱

20/09/2025: Located in an old charming palazzo in the historic centre of Manduria, the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining, the latter with tables on the sidewalk of the old piazza - nice, but subject to the traffic noise that at times can be annoying. The food was excellent, we enjoyed our pasta dishes (orecchiette con melanzane e cacioricotta, and spaghetti alle vongole) and the trancio di spada alla brace that we both chose, fresh and well prepared. With shared appetiser of bruschette tradizionali, a bottle of white wine (Alice, from local verdeca grapes), water, coffee, and limoncello, the bill for the two of us was €85. Service was cordial and efficient. The overall ambiance was pleasant and welcoming, perhaps the music played in the indoor pizzeria/bar area was a little too loud and "overflowed" into the outside dining area. If you park the the blue lines section and use one of the APP services like EasyPark, be aware that the "parking spot number" that may be asked for is indicated in a little tag attached to the curb along the individual parking spot. We had a pleasant evening, and will be back.

01/10/2025: As soon as we finished our impromptu dinner, our first time here, I must say we immediately felt at home. The feeling of total relaxation was complete. The meat was high-quality (I invite you to try their homemade salami, which is truly excellent. The prices are far from average; I honestly would have gladly paid a little more). We didn't pay anything for what we got. Truly top-notch. Then there's Alessia's desserts (her homemade tiramisu), 10 out of 10. Congratulations to everyone.

24/06/2025: Nice place and location, great food. Maps was confusing to find and we drove around the country lanes for almost half an hour. For those who aren't familiar with the area, better directions are needed.

26/05/2025: Highly recommended! My husband and I chose Antica Masseria Surani Grande, in Manduria, for the most important day of our lives: our wedding day! A dream location, surrounded by greenery, elegant and refined. We relied on the experience and professionalism of Mimma who, from the beginning, understood our needs, welcomed every request and dealt with every eventuality that arose in the best possible way. She was able to advise us on everything. We then had the opportunity to stay there and enjoy a breathtaking view and a real mini apartment in the Masseria, very well-kept and beautiful. There are no criticisms but only compliments: quality, elegance, competence. Thank you for making our day unique and perfect!

09/07/2025: We came across it by chance, it's a takeaway but it also has tables where you can sit to eat, we had some excellent chicken skewers cooked perfectly and with substance, 1/4 of a calzone filled with aubergines and stracciatella, good soft with thin dough, more than reasonable price, we'll definitely see you again on Friday for the fried fish 👍👍👍

24/09/2025: We had two wonderful evenings there: delicious food, delicious wine, and excellent value for money. Beautifully located in the old town, with very friendly, English-speaking service!

12/09/2025: This is the second year I'm returning to this restaurant. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent. The appetizer, first course, and second course are all delicious. The cuisine is typical of the area. Without spending a fortune along the Salento coast, I recommend this restaurant. My only suggestion is to have a slightly more varied selection for the children's menu.

12/10/2025: Super fresh fish, well-prepared pasta dishes, excellent fried food, a good selection of wines, and more than fair prices. If you're passing through Torre Colimena, you can't miss this restaurant!

05/10/2025: Fabulous place and even more fabulous food, excellent and polite service.

18/10/2025: Despite making a reservation in advance, we were given a very uncomfortable seat by the entrance. Pasta dishes were slightly smaller in portions than usual. No appetizer combinations possible, the red wine was ice-cold, and the bread was definitely not fresh, with some of the tiramisu still frozen. It's a shame, because we used to be happier!

02/10/2025: The food is decent, though nothing exceptional. The homemade pasta is good. Service is slow, and the atmosphere is decidedly informal, like a trattoria. Very noisy.

24/09/2025: We happened upon it by chance on the way back to Piedmont... The welcome was very warm. The two sisters are truly kind... we ate very well and the price/quality ratio was excellent... we will definitely be back! A big hug to the aunts' restaurant.

21/09/2025: A place to feel good – highly recommended I spent a few days at La Giara Risto Relais and can highly recommend my stay. As a single woman traveling alone, it was especially important to me to feel safe and well looked after – and that was exactly the case here from the very first minute. The room was exceptionally clean, tastefully furnished, and meticulously maintained down to the last detail. I also really liked the quiet, somewhat secluded location. Parking was available right next to the rooms. What made the stay special was the warmth of the hosts. The Italian mentality – open, warm, and familiar – was palpable at all times. I felt welcome, safe, and completely at home in every way. If you're looking for clean, quiet accommodations with genuine Italian hospitality, this is the place for you. I would love to come back.

10/08/2025: Siamo arrivati per primi , abbiamo preso degli antipasti e una pizza a testq, gli antipasti erano ok ma al momento dell’assaggio della pizza ho ritrovato questo sapore amaro che mi ha fatto scoprire che la pizza era completamente bruciata, l’ho fatto presente ad una dipendente che mi ha subito fatto rifare la pizza ed era visibilmente mortificata ; questo perché non è colpa dei camerieri ma di chi li ha fatto servire una pizza carbonizzata. Dopo la pizza abbiamo ordinato un gelato che ci è stato servito con i piatti delle pizze ancora sul tavolo. Davanti a noi 4 ragazzi si sono alzati e sono andata via perché erano 50 minuti che erano seduti e ancora nessuno aveva preso le ordinazioni. Vorrei comunque dire che non è colpa dei ragazzi che lavorano lì ma dell’organizzazione che c’è dietro a loro.

30/07/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera a cena, posto incantevole, cibo ottimo . Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Personale molto gentile e simpatico soprattutto due camerieri che hanno servito il nostro tavolo, Antonio e Davide. Grazie per la bella serata, torneremo sicuramente!!!
