01/09/2024: We had the pleasure of staying in August at the Le Site farmhouse. The property features modern and tastefully furnished rooms. For those who want a break from the crowded beaches of Salento there is the possibility of relaxing in the swimming pool which is also suitable for the little ones. In addition to breakfast by the pool, it is also possible to have lunch with quick and genuine dishes all coming from their garden.
The structure also has an evening restaurant where it is possible to eat in a suggestive Salento atmosphere. A fixed price menu is available with drinks not included. Worthy of mention are the starters, all homemade with excellent raw materials.
Thanks to Mr. Antonio and all his staff for making us spend moments of true relaxation in this beautiful structure.

15/08/2024: Returned after 3 years and after a first experience in 2015, when the position was different.
Compared to the first time especially, a lot has changed. Raw tasting and starters less abundant and different than in the past where more types of seafood and more variety and number of dishes were served.
Service with several flaws, such as the order of the dishes being different from what was declared and forgetfulness in serving.
It's also a shame about the different location, which previously had a very particular charm.
Still fresh fish

01/09/2024: Masseria tipica salentina meravigliosa, ha superato le nostre aspettative. Abbiamo passato una serata bellissima: personale è gentile, preparato e mai invadente. Si mangia divinamente (i loro antipasti sono top) e le materie prime utilizzate sono di ottima qualità. Super preparati anche sul senza glutine: ci hanno addirittura offerto delle “pittule” gluten free 🥹. Prezzi super onesti. Torneremo sicuramente, consigliatissimo!
31/08/2024: Un posto veramente magico. Accoglienza molto empatica. Il cibo presentato con sapienza con molte novità culinarie. Antipasti particolari di ottimo sapore. Scottona di eccellente qualità. Ottima presentazione del calamaro ripieno. 1 dolce 1 calice di vino. Prezzo giusto per la qualità offertaci.Da ritornare sicuramente.

23/08/2024: Con amici decidiamo di cenare in questo ristorante. Prenotiamo per le 21:00 in 5 amici e amiche. Ci presentiamo puntuali e alle 21:05 eravamo già seduti. Chiediamo una, due, tre volte alle cameriere di ordinare, ma la risposta è sempre la stessa "vi mando la ragazza". Alle 21:35 finalmente riusciamo ad ordinare 5 pizze, tre birre e acqua naturale. Da qui più nulla... La birra inizia a diventare calda e la fame scalpita. Finalmente alle 22:30 circa arrivano le pizze (per fortuna perché stavamo per andare via, anche il signore del tavolo vicino sbuffava per l'attesa). Comunque Le pizze sono dure, difficili da tagliare, si fa fatica a mandare giù il boccone. Il sapore nella media, nulla di speciale. I prezzi delle pizze nella media, circa. Insomma siamo rimasti delusi totalmente. Sono veramente dispiaciuto. Forse è il caso di aumentare il numero di personale presente, perché tre ragazze per gestire circa 80 persone tra cassa, bevande, bancone e porta pizza non sembrano essere sufficienti. Forse non si è previsto tale affluenza durante la festa del santo patrono. Abbiamo aspettato che arrivasse la ragazza al bancone in ingresso, anche per pagare il conto. Proprio no! Allego foto e ricevuta.
13/08/2024: Quando dobbiamo scegliere un locale dove andare a mangiare, la pizzeria dei mille è sempre la prima scelta!! La cordialità di Clara ti mette subito a tuo agio..i prezzi onestissimi e le pizze superlative!!!!!!!!! Non per questo il pizzaiolo Simone ha finto la bacheca per esporre i vari titoli vinti ;-)

13/08/2024: We went to this tavern a few days ago. The food was also pleasant, without considering the orecchiette with broccoli passed off as orecchiette with turnip greens. Unfortunately, however, the place has a major flaw for which I do not recommend an experience here: the room manager, or presumed such. Rude and not at all kind, he responded badly to us several times for no reason.
Responding badly to a customer for no reason is not only rude but also demonstrates lack of professionalism.
After the high bill, the only conclusion that can be drawn is "never again".
13/08/2024: Very nice place on a pedestrian street, top service, delicious raw ham and sardines in saor, almost everything very good except for one dish of the day (tagliolini with lobster) with a lot of tomato sauce "to be avoided" and the spaghetti with clams with turnip greens, where the latter completely cover the flavor of the fish. The delicious orecchiette and the handkerchief with a particular sweet and sour flavor (good) if these two things are improved the restaurant is the top

08/03/2024: That’s style ! Genuine , creative, authentic , chic ! Never loosing the pugliese simplicity! Food was impeccable it could be a star rated restaurant! Glad is not as it allows the chef to have freedom to create ! Samuele the young passionate chef made the most amazing putanesca served in a pan and beautifully decorated

24/08/2024: TRULY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE FOR ITS SINGULARITY (WHICH IS A WARNING FOR ANYONE WHO DECIDES TO CHOOSE THIS PLACE).
We have a quick dinner (I'm not here now to specify the details to be clarified about the questionable service and quality in my opinion), I go to pay: the owner (?) or in any case whoever was at the cash register, peremptorily, after an acceptable waiting, he starts with a price that he pays by card but when asked for the receipt he shows some resistance. In the first instance he replies by asserting that the text message of the transaction which, in the meantime, arrives on my phone, is valid as such. I ask him again to have the receipt with the price details: he blurts out rudely telling me to sit in front of the door and wait about twenty minutes (?). A person at the table with me, out of curiosity and annoyed, asks for a menu to check the accuracy of the amount paid which seems a bit inflated and goes inside the restaurant. Moral of the story: the paid price is €12.50 higher than the real one. Everything is justified as an oversight and only in front of the evidence is the receipt issued and the stolen goods returned in cash.
Obviously I will never go back there again and I hope that this review is valid both for potential future customers (ask for and check the receipt) and above all for the manager and his "oversights" which are unacceptable nevertheless for the inappropriate attitude.

23/08/2024: Excellent starters and wine. Very good fresh pasta first courses. Beautiful internal courtyard. But we felt like we were annoying the waiter for asking questions and taking a while to choose.
18/08/2024: Simple restaurant in an ancient building.
The food was of good taste with refined combinations and the right, almost generous portions. A more than good value for money. The wine list is very varied and well-stocked.
The service was good, present but discreet.
Last but not least, the toilet was another pleasant surprise, clean and equipped with everything necessary where instead of the usual paper towels, I found "guest" towels, a sign of distinction and elegance.
Highly recommended.
