07/12/2025: Il Caratino presents itself as a pleasant meeting place, thanks in large part to its location: the sea view is the only real highlight, creating a relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant view.
Otherwise, however, everything remains utterly mediocre. The cuisine isn't surprising; the dishes are ordinary and lacking in character, and the service leaves little to be desired. This is a place that could offer much more, but it's simply "passable."
In short: a good place to meet and enjoy the view, but not for those seeking quality or a true gastronomic experience.

04/01/2026: This place is a joke. Zero professionalism.
We had booked a table for 9:30 PM. We arrived promptly, asked for our table, and were told, "You can sit in 10 minutes." Too bad it was a joke for the entire evening, because at 10:30 PM, after waiting an hour outside in the cold for our table, they still kept telling us, "We'll seat you in 10 minutes." At that point, we had no choice but to leave rather than be mocked for the rest of the evening.
Since you don't know how to work, I advise you not to accept reservations like so many other places in Manfredonia that do know how to work.
Never again, avoid if you can.

08/09/2025: Kiosk with comfortable plastic tables and chairs on the waterfront. Prices are more than fair (panzerotti cost between €3 and €5), and portions are decent.
Vegetarian options are limited; I ordered a panzerotto with parmigiana, but it was a shame the parmigiana was with ham!
For a water, a beer, two panzerotti, and a small portion of fries, we spent only €12.

10/06/2026: A charming café in Manfredonia's old town. The food there is also very good. The staff and owner do everything to ensure the comfort of their guests.
02/05/2026: The gluten-free pinsa was delicious and fluffy, the cappuccino was perfect, and we even found a sweet gluten-free cream puff filled with vanilla custard. A wonderful place to take a break and enjoy!

27/09/2025: A magical place right by the sea. Quiet in September, which is perfect. Very natural. The sanitary facilities are dated but clean and functional. For us, it was paradise. No entertainment, no frills, just peace and quiet with a sea view. We hope the owner has many more years of life ahead of him. Because what will happen to the place then? Thank you so much for our time in paradise.
24/09/2025: It's a lost place with a lot of charm. I love places like this. The restrooms are available and clean. It's the ideal place for those seeking relaxation. A paradise for dogs, with plenty of beach.

11/03/2025: Il menu proposto è sempre ricercato, sfizioso e delicato. I sapori di ogni piatto sono il risultato di un'attenta ricerca degli ingredienti con la sapiente cura dello chef Matteo. In sala, ad accogliere i clienti, Matteo cura ogni dettaglio e richieste particolari. Approvato a pieni voti!
08/03/2025: Attualmente offre la miglior cucina in zona.
Menù curato nei particolari con una eccellente attenzione alla qualità della materia prima.
Cucina a vista così da poter osservare i vari processi della lavorazione di ogni singolo piatto.
La cortesia in sala è ad ottimi livelli e non manca mai un buon consiglio sulla giusta scelta da fare.

16/02/2025: Sala accogliente e ben allestita. Matteo il titolare e sua moglie Antonella, come tutto lo staff, sono persone disponibilissime che fanno sentire il cliente a casa. Le pietanze sono ottimamente preparate e presentate, sintomo questo di chi nella cucina ci mette passione sia nella scelta delle materie prime che nella lavorazione. Per chi passa o vive a Manfredonia una tappa obbligatoria. Cucina di livello eccellente. Chapeau.
15/02/2025: Location calda e accogliente situata nel centro storico di Manfredonia. Ci siamo tornati dopo anni e abbiamo ritrovato ottime pietanze di mare, la qualità c'è indubbiamente!
Il figlio del titolare, molto preparato ha imparato benissimo ad accogliere i clienti.
Prezzi giusti.

13/06/2025: Presa una pizza d'asporto, sapore gustoso, mi ha ricordato il sapore delle pizze che mangiavo sul finire degli anni '90. La location è perfetta, davanti alla chiesa di Dipinto, un posto tranquillo sia per una cena in coppia che in famiglia con bimbi. Personale gentile e molto disponibile, ci tornerò sicuramente per accomodarmi.
