24/10/2025: The perfect combination of wine, tasting menu, beautiful weather, and fantastic service. It turned into one of those afternoons where everything just felt right. The food kept coming, course after course, each one full of flavour and paired perfectly with the wines. This place has something special. It’s not only about what you eat and drink, but also how warmly you’re welcomed and how relaxed you feel. It’s not my first visit here, and every time it feels just as good as the last. 21/10/2025: Beautiful place near Monforte d'Alba. But everything is very impersonal and rather superficial. The tasting menu is very good, but the service is rushed and you feel like a burden. Breakfast is very simple, and the service is reserved and lacks joy. They didn't explain what was on offer; you had to ask for everything yourself. The room is nice and comfortable, but the mattress is bad. Parking is available, but it's a lottery on weekends when the hotel is full with guests in the restaurant. No mention of this being a problem. The reception upon our arrival was also very cold. We didn't feel welcome and won't be coming again.
