29/09/2025: My partner and I work in the restaurant business and only have Mondays off. So, whenever we can, we always come to treat ourselves to this wonderful little place! The staff is super friendly and approachable, and they never fail to pay attention from start to finish. And the food is a guarantee! Today, the Langhe trio and the off-menu porcini mushrooms left us speechless. Truly excellent! We'll definitely be seeing you again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

21/09/2025: A surprising discovery!!! We stumbled upon it at the last minute and almost missed out on dinner... But thanks to the extremely kind staff, they found us a little spot for a quick pizza.
Oh right.... The pizza!!!
Really good: from the tomato sauce to the meatballs, the ingredients are top-notch.
The desserts are just as good! If you're passing through, it's a must-see, but don't forget to book!

30/09/2025: Excellent service, a few details could be improved (e.g., the reconditioned ice cream, I mean... Refrozen. I mean... It tasted like ice inside, basically) but everything was delicious. The atmosphere was that of a typical local trattoria, as evidenced by the checked tablecloth. For Fred Fork users—no, I mean The Fork—they accept yums here, or whatever they call it. In fact, we got a €50 discount, so tack!

An authentically retro restaurant run by a family that shares their passion with all their guests.
Attentive, friendly, and extremely professional service; the chef's initiative to come into the dining room and suggest a selection of dishes is greatly appreciated.
Refined cuisine featuring traditional Brianza specialties (risotto with sausage, nervetti, vanilla crust) but also featuring some of the best Italian cuisine (Venetian-style liver, bonet).
A few more quality wines wouldn't hurt.
Truly excellent value.

03/04/2025: They did not accept a payment of €8.50 with a debit card, "minimum €10"
I would like to remind you that starting from June 30, 2022, for anyone who carries out professional or commercial activities, the mandatory POS (without minimum spend) will come into force in Italy. At the same time, sanctions will also come into force, provided for if you do not comply and do not accept electronic payments. The obligation to have the POS among the payment options comes into force, as provided for by the PNRR Decree.
Having said that, I have not been to argue, but I hope it will not happen again, if it does I will be forced to take action by the competent authorities.

Perhaps you are remembering the €4.50 wrong because a non-alcoholic cocktail for €6 plus a lemon soda in a can for €2.50 make €8.50 and not €4.50.

20/09/2025: Il Carpo is simply splendid, meticulously crafted and capable of making every guest feel at home. Agata and Tony, two wonderful people and dear friends of ours, put their heart and soul into everything they do, and it shows in every dish.
The food is superb: from the fragrant and delicious pizzas to the flavorful pasta dishes, to the desserts that captivate you from the first bite. Each course is a true treat for the palate.

08/03/2025: This is our second dinner here, and it's a guaranteed success. The staff are very attentive, the atmosphere intimate, and the selection of products is excellent. The price is fair for the service and the ingredients. This evening, we accidentally overpaid without noticing, and the wait staff chased us out of the restaurant to refund the excess! It was a very appreciated gesture. I definitely recommend it.
