08/03/2026: A truly fantastic experience. I stayed at Baita Elica with a group of friends. After a pleasant hike, we arrived at the lodge for lunch. The polenta was simply fantastic! Generous portions and very fair prices! The desserts were mouth-watering. The highlight of the day was the owner. He was incredibly kind and helpful. They welcomed us as if we were part of the family. A truly warm welcome that is hard to find elsewhere. We'll definitely be back; it was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!
08/03/2026: The location is beautiful and meticulously maintained. There's a family atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the staff were even more so! They were truly kind.
(There are sleds available for guests, which we had a lot of fun on.)

09/10/2025: I dined at Bistrocc in Roccaforte with my wife and the group of historical collectors I belong to, and we were all completely satisfied. The restaurant is quiet, well-kept, and very welcoming, ideal for a pleasant evening with friends. The appetizers are delicious: in particular, I tried the veal with tuna sauce, which was truly exquisite, with incredibly tender meat and an authentically flavorful sauce. For my first course, the tajarin with rabbit ragù was a real surprise: rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The main courses and desserts on the menu also deserve a mention for their quality and impeccable presentation. A restaurant that combines tradition and sophistication, highly recommended for those who love good Piedmontese cuisine in a serene and refined setting.

Unfortunately, the lady who served us was very hostile, ruining our dining experience.
A real shame for the restaurant and the food, especially since there were only three tables in the restaurant, so her aggressive attitude was unjustified.
Unfortunately, despite the good food, it's a place I don't think I'd return to.

14/02/2026: Family-run hotel, respectful of Piedmontese tradition. Quiet location, excellent food. Friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle to the slopes, just 3 minutes away. They even offered us a free late checkout. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves skiing and the mountains.

04/09/2024: Non ero mai stata al rifugio Mondovì, ma merita assolutamente farci un giro.
Abbiamo parcheggiato in uno spiazzo prima di pian Marchisa e siamo saliti.
Una splendida passeggiata nella montagna, facile per tutti.
A pranzo non ci siamo fatti mancare nulla: polenta, tutti i sughi, tajarin, vino, dolci, birre, caffè, digestivi...

Tornarci, appunto.
26/08/2024: Abbiamo raggiunto il rifugio domenica 25 agosto dopo una bella camminata di circa 40 minuti. Paesaggio bellissimo e grande disponibilità di accoglierci a pranzo nonostante la grande affluenza e la nostra "dimenticanza" nel non aver prenotato. Ebbene sono riusciti a trovare un'ottima sistemazione per noi tre già per le ore 12. Pranzo ottimo a partire dall'antipasto misto, seguito da dei fantastici tajarin al ragù. Crostata ai mirtilli indimenticabile!
Da segnalare la possibilità di utilizzo gratuito di svariate sedie sdraio messe a disposizione dal rifugio. Non è così scontato in quanto molte volte mi è stato fatto pagare l'uso dai 3 a 5 euro.
In definitiva rifugio accogliente in tutti i sensi!

05/10/2024: Posto rinomato per le specialità con i funghi Porcini nel periodo giusto. Sono stato a mangiare diverse volte, il cibo è ottimo come il servizio. Prezzi più che nella norma. Per chi vuole si può anche mangiare la pizza. Stra consigliato!

03/11/2024: Agriturismo molto accogliente gestito interamente dai proprietari e la figlia, tutti e tre molto simpatici e disponibili. Camere comode e curate, servizio eccellente, colazione genuina, cena buonissima e abbondante con una qualità/prezzo sorprendente (consigliamo di avvisare in anticipo i proprietari se si intende cenare nella struttura durante il soggiorno). Un'esperienza davvero piacevole e consigliatissima!
21/10/2024: C’est notre second séjour, l’accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux et la cuisine un délice.
Nous reviendrons avec des amis car c’est un lieu à découvrir.

04/03/2025: Ottima cucina, bella atmosfera ed all’occorrenza piscina termale. Ho già scritto una recensione a questo ristorante, dove sono stata tre volte, sempre con grande soddisfazione. Piatti belli e buoni di cucina piemontese un po’ rivisitati ma da provare. Prezzi nella media, lo consiglio, per me è il migliore ristorante di Lurisia.
