The Trattoria Antica Torre is picturesquely located at Via Torino 71, directly below the medieval Torre ("tower") of Barbaresco. 
The location alone—in a small village center, surrounded by vineyards, with a relaxed atmosphere—makes you want to linger. The ambiance is warm, informal, not overly pretentious, but maintained with attention to detail.

What's Particularly Good
• Tradition & Quality: The cuisine is deeply rooted in Piedmontese and Langhe traditions. Classics such as tajarin (homemade), ravioli al plin, vitello tonnato, and various meat dishes (e.g., Fassona) are present and are usually prepared with great care.

17/09/2025: It's a star rating, but what an unfriendly old lady walking around there. You have to speak perfect Italian to get help. She just says no and walks away. You can't ask anything else.

25/07/2025: Durante la cata de vinos nos detuvimos en este ristorante en Barbaresco para almorzar. IT es un hermoso restaurante con una gran vista del campo. Hay una terraza para comer cuando hace buen tiempo. El servicio fue genial. La comida era buena y a precios razonables.

27/01/2025: In viaggio in Piemonte, dopo aver letto svariate recensioni su questo ristorante decidiamo di visitarlo. Arrivati e accolti dal personale da una calda accoglienza in un locale carino e semplice e molto pulito.
il cameriere che ci ha servito, con aria saputella ( poco preparato ) ci ha raccontato il menù, abbiamo preso un antipasto ( crudo di pesce ) molto buono, un plin ( porzione mignon ) senza un briciolo di sughetto senza sapore, e due buoni brasati.
Al momento del dolce abbiamo optato per un tris di formaggi, dopo aver richiesto un blue cheese assieme ad altri due formaggi, il cameriere sbagliandosi riprende dal nostro piatto un formaggio che ci aveva servito senza che noi lo chiedessimo rimettendolo sul tavolo di servizio con aria strafottente. ( cioè mi riprendi dal piatto una fettina di formaggio già toccata ? )
Una scena raccapricciante!!!

05/01/2025: Location adeguata , ottima lista dei vini , prezzo elevato ma in linea con le aspettative. Il servizio… si può fare di meglio, essere interrotti in un dialogo ogni 5 minuti perché devi rispondere alla domanda “ tutto bene signori” o perché devi servire il vino , mi sembra eccessivo. In ogni caso positivo

23/03/2025: Ottimo hotel a tre stelle per rapporto qualità prezzo. Camera pulita e funzionale. Personale gentile accogliente e professionale. Colazione abbondante e varia ( anche centrifughe di frutta e verdura fresche!), il tutto impreziosito da una vista meravigliosa sulle colline circostanti. Con mio marito abbiamo utilizzato anche la spa. Ingresso due ore, molto carina, ma forse curerei meglio alcuni dettagli. Per esempio l angolo tisane e servirebbe una sedia/panca nello spogliatoio. Per la spa ho trovato il prezzo un po' alto, ma il prezzo di camere e colazione è ottimo.
