29/06/2025: Access with views and a winding mountain road. Dinner served perfectly, tasty, atmospheric, with very nice company. Breakfast delicious, huge quantity and variety, Mega lot of homemade delicacies. I recommend the owners, they are great and friendly 😊😊

25/06/2025: If you like mountain passes, this is the place for you! The access is, as described in other reviews, a bit of an adventure. But it's easily manageable. In return, you'll be treated to a magnificent view, super-friendly hosts, and delicious food. We and our dog received a very friendly welcome, everything was explained to us, and then we were shown to the room, which was more like a one-room apartment. There was a small kitchen with everything you could need. The bathroom had everything you needed, starting with soap, shower gel, hairdryer, and, of course, towels. In the evening, you can eat something in the bar; the kitchen is open until 9 p.m. A plentiful breakfast is served starting at 8 a.m. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stay here again! :)

04/08/2025: Petit village perdu. Restaurant au charme et au caractère paisibles. Accueil et personnel très charmants. Repas sous une véranda extérieure proche du lac, face à l'hôtel. Table avec nappe et chaises de jardin. Il faut avoir de l'appétit car les assiettes sont grandes et bien remplies (escalope milanaise / tagliatelles aux champignons).

02/08/2025: Un ristorante semplicemente straordinario! A mio avviso unico , non paragonabile a nessun altro ristorante nell ' alto lago. Pesce di lago cucinato divinamente. Personale al Top : ti sembra di essere un VIP. Esperienza indimenticabile.

17/08/2025: I was spontaneously put up here because my original hotel messed up my booking. My room was clean, a bit rustic, but nice. It was very warm; unfortunately, there's no air conditioning. Towards the evening, however, a slight breeze picked up, so it was a bit drafty. The breakfast was excellent! A table was already set for each guest with a delicious selection of rolls, croissants, and spreads, as well as fresh fruit and juice. I was also offered cheese, ham, and fresh coffee. In the morning, you are woken up somewhat unexpectedly, but very pleasantly, by the neighboring church, which starts its chimes at 7 a.m.

30/07/2025: Magnificent hotel, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The restaurant is perfect, the rooms are clean, and they offer exceptional views of the lake and mountains. I highly recommend it. Secure motorcycle parking is available. I recommend it 200%. Auvergne biker

16/08/2025: I tried a very creative dish with blueberry sauce, and my companion ordered a pear sauce. Both were savory with a sweet undertone - perfect match for the fantastic view. The patio space is on the smaller side, with wobbly tables. The cuisine was well worth tempering my restaurant pet peeves!

16/08/2025: We made a reservation on Sunday morning, August 3, 2025, for a table for four people for the evening of Monday, August 4, 2025. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone didn't tell me that—since Saturdays and Sundays in August are very busy—on Monday, 90% of the dishes on the menu we were given when we sat down WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE! We basically had to eat whatever was left over from Sunday (just polenta and cold cuts) because, essentially, there was nothing available! It's an absurd situation. The restaurant where the meal is served is very small, the tables are very close together, and it's difficult to communicate with friends and family due to the high noise level. The outdoor view is breathtaking, the mountain location offers a wonderful view of Lake Como... but that's not enough to get a favorable opinion from a customer who deserved to be warned, when booking, that this "Baita dal Vikingo" might empty its pantry on Saturday and Sunday, and that Monday guests will have to eat what's left after the onslaught of summer tourists on Saturday and Sunday. Not very serious. And for that, they were capable of charging us seventy-three euros.
