I pointed out that, with 95°F (35°C) lunchtime temperatures and a table on the terrace, it wasn't exactly ideal, and asked if they could prepare something light with vegetables. The answer was again a firm "No." I fully understand that the menu can't always be changed, but I believe a little availability—and especially courtesy—costs nothing. If it hadn't been for a friend's birthday, I would have left.
