05/10/2025: Very nice place, small but always busy. On Sundays they offer a tourist menu for €13 with drinks and coffee. Let's get to the menu: a good variety of dishes, in our case there were three first courses and three second courses to choose from.
We chose Casoncelli al burro, which was delicious, a good portion too; the stew with polenta was flavorful and the meat was very tender.
The fries were divine, perhaps an understatement! Never tasted so good! Crispy on the outside, not at all greasy, spectacular! I actually ordered another portion! But if I hadn't been so full, I would have ordered more!!!

17/08/2025: We ate the Girotondo and Catalan appetizers, everything was really excellent, we will definitely be back, I recommend it 👍🏻 The staff were friendly and the owner was very attentive.
16/08/2025: A fine seafood restaurant with Sardinian inspiration in the green Franciacorta region, where we return often. All the dishes are carefully prepared, tasty, and made with excellent ingredients. The atmosphere is modern; the service is attentive and friendly; and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

19/09/2025: Invited by friends who thought it was a great place. Nothing special to say! A bit of a disappointment.
12/09/2025: Francesco is now a firm favourite. We go there often, traveling with friends from Milan to eat authentic grilled meat and enjoy a welcoming and truly unique place.
Highly recommended! Top-notch food and wines to try.

17/10/2025: Impossible, rude and very fast management, to be forgotten
13/10/2025: Nothing special, appetizers and first courses cost €11, while the second courses cost €18.
We ordered casoncelli and stracotto, but we won't remember them.
We liked the entree soup.
There was no menu, just the writing on the wall of the dishes. In fact, we got ripped off by asking for a glass of wine, and they brought us a 0.50 bottle of red for €16. We were disappointed.
In the end, €50 for two for lunch in the middle of nowhere. In hindsight, I would have gone for lunch by the lake, at least I had the view.
The bathroom door was broken.
Dessert: I can't caramelize the crème brulee. "We make it soft," no, dear, so don't call it crème brulee or buy a blowtorch, I make it at home too.
Coffee: nothing special.

Rifugio Quinto Alpini

19/12/2024: Un'esperienza indimenticabile al Rifugio V Alpini!
Abbiamo trascorso un weekend meraviglioso al Rifugio V Alpini, un luogo che rimarrà per sempre nei nostri ricordi. Immersi nella straordinaria bellezza della Val Zebrù, ci siamo lasciati incantare dalle sue vette maestose e dai panorami mozzafiato che circondano il rifugio. Il contatto con la natura qui è autentico e rigenerante, e la vista del cielo stellato, così limpido e brillante, è stata semplicemente magica, uno spettacolo che raramente si ha la fortuna di ammirare.
Il servizio offerto è stato eccellente. Elena e Michele, insieme al loro fantastico staff, ci hanno accolto con un calore e una gentilezza unici, facendoci subito sentire come a casa. La loro passione si riflette in ogni dettaglio del rifugio che risulta curato e confortevole. Una menzione d'onore va allo chef, che ha proposto piatti di altissima qualità, elaborati e squisiti.
Un grazie di cuore a Elena e Michele e tutto lo staff per la loro professionalità, bravura e cortesia.
Grazie a voi abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza che non dimenticheremo mai, e non vediamo l'ora di tornare!

Si vede, in ogni singolo dettaglio ed angolo della vostra casa in alta quota, che avete dedicato una buona parte di vita alla realizzazione di un'idea di accoglienza ed ospitalità che non ha eguali. Non solo il vostro modo d'essere, ma una filosofia che avete trasmesso a tutti i vostri collaboratori. Arrivare dopo ore di cammino e non trovare solo un posto letto accogliente ed un ottimo pasto ma ricevere uno sguardo speciale ed un sorriso sincero che ti dice: "Benvenuto!" rimarrà il più bel ricordo di questo piccolo angolo di Paradiso dal tetto giallo. Buon 20mo Anniversario!
