I was out with my two large dogs and, after hearing good things about their little dogs, I decided to stop for a quick meal. I had €15 in cash and my banking app was temporarily blocked, but that certainly wasn't a problem: I had politely asked if I could get my food and sit on the outside balcony, without disturbing anyone. From the very beginning, the lady at the cashier was rude, responding with condescension and rudeness. When, faced with that attitude, I decided not to stay, she yelled in front of the entire dining room that I only had €15 in my wallet. An incredibly vulgar and malicious gesture, a gratuitous and totally inappropriate humiliation. The worst happened immediately after: I needed to use the bathroom and headed for the entrance. The lady physically blocked me from entering, grabbed me, and pushed me out, constantly telling me that "if I only had €15, I should have stayed home." I repeatedly told her not to touch me, but she continued. At that point, I seriously considered calling the Carabinieri, because this behavior isn't just rudeness: it's physical aggression and an unlawful impediment. To be clear: I have no financial problems, I come from a good family, and I've always worked in positions of responsibility.
