07/09/2025: AMAZING meat. I only need one menu and I've tried them all! Excellent service, very friendly staff, but although they obviously work hard, it's unfortunately extremely slow. The place is very noisy due to soundproofing. However, I have absolutely nothing to complain about the food! Simply superb. A paradise for meat lovers like me! Highly recommended!

15/10/2025: Everything was excellent, compliments also for the welcome, quality products from the starter to the dessert, we will be back

30/08/2025: Tried it on August 29th and it was a disappointment.
I remembered this place when it was located in Ortovero and was known for its value for money, and I've been a customer there more than once with excellent satisfaction.
Last night was a disappointment.
The location is in a square where the tables are quadrupled compared to the number of people who could fit in the (small) place. The food service wasn't adequate for the number of diners, and the wait between courses was too long. We sat down at 7:45 PM and left (without dessert or coffee) at 10:15 PM.
The wine list had an exorbitant markup, around 80%.
The seafood scialatielli were slightly spicy, the pasta was overcooked, and the pasta wasn't scialatiello.
Ligurian-style rabbit, or rather, pale boiled rabbit without pine nuts or Taggiasca olives, and moreover tasteless. The photos of this dish you find on Facebook bear no resemblance to what I was served. I pointed this out when I paid, and the response was a lackluster, disinterested "sorry."
Pizza made with various doughs, good.
Oliva e Lavanda in Ortovero was another restaurant, nothing like this.

30/06/2025: Menù, vino e cibo deliziosi, per chi piace la carne, con una occasione vegetariana, ma l'ambiente è insostenibile, basta una tavolata di maleducati tamarri per non riuscire a sentire chi ti sta di fronte con cui sei, un vero peccato che ha rovinato tutto
30/06/2025: Il locale, pur informale, è molto ben organizzato e curato, il personale gentile e professionale e, soprattutto, materie prime di alta qualità perfettamente preparate con cucina a vista.
Adottano una formula con diversi menù, tutti rigorosamente a base di carne, vino DOCG del Chianti, dolce, caffè, digestivo, pane (veramente buono), apripasto (sempre diverso) e coperto inclusi (anche l'acqua, ma con la carne...!).
I prezzi sono equilibrati, impossibile uscire non soddisfatti.
P.S. Sembra incredibile ma hanno anche, su prenotazione, il menù vegetariano ;-)))

31/03/2024: Cortesia e attenzione per il cliente. Piatti genuini della cucina tradizionale ligure, ambiente accogliente e non rumoroso dove si può amabilmente conversare. Comodo da raggiungere.
