21/07/2025: A restaurant located inside a residence/hotel. The atmosphere is very pleasant, both inside and out. The menu is limited, but all focus on Ligurian tradition. The farinata is excellent, and the focacciamisu is unique. Family-run and informal.

Inviting fish menu with very fresh products also available for take-away since the deli/fishmonger is attached. Friendly staff and a wine list with a wide choice. A good experience!

Possiamo provare a raccontare un piatto, possiamo (forse, a volte) anche riuscirci, ma.non potremo mai restituire le sensazioni visive, olfattive e gustative che si vivono quando si ha la fortuna di provare piatti come quelli di Via Mare. In cucina Chef Luca, giovane e talentuoso, con alle spalle una storia familiare che è la.storia stessa di Andora. Nipote dell'indimenticabile "Lito", figlio dell'immenso "Livio", persone che hanno scritto pagine indelebili nel firmamento della ristorazione. Livio è stato il fratello maggiore delle.generazioni che.dagli anni 90' vivevano le estati ad Andora, straordinario in cucina e altrettanto come persona, di quelle che rimangono nel cuore in modo indelebile. E questa bellissima storia continua con Luca. Luca è semplicemente un genio, uno di quei rari talenti che ogni tanto si ha la fortuna di incontrare. C'è un che di magico nei suoi piatti, un misto di tecnica raffinata e straordinaria creatività, una ricerca costante di contrasti e alchimie sensoriali che rendono una cena da Via Mare un viaggio, un'esperienza, un momento liturgico da celebrare e ricordare. Sui piatti già detto tutto, ampia scelta, dal crudo di mare al fritto, tutto sempre freschissimo. Solo per fare qualche esempio la tartare di gambero rosa (un sogno) , il brandacujun su terra di olive taggiasche (essenza di sapori liguri), lo spaghettone con gambero crudo e bottarga (poesia), il polpo in doppia cottura con humus di pomodori confit e salsa al.dragoncello (la Cappella Sistina). Chef Luca ricerca costantemente materie prime di assoluta qualità, a km.0, sempre freschissime, lavorandole con amore e tecnica sopraffina, ma senza stravolgerle, bensì esaltandone il.sapore con una delicatezza senza eguali. Chef Luca gioca con contrasti e consistenze regalando.una maestosa sinfonia di sapori che si inseguono e susseguono emozionando, commuovendo ed.incantando. 20/07/2025: Local, family-style cuisine, all home-made. Grilled meats, pan-fried pizza. Top-notch salmon, top-notch local cured meats typical of Liguria, and amazing ricotta and spinach ravioli.

03/07/2025: Wonderful place immersed in the green hills of Alassio, with a wonderful view. Good, genuine food and the right portions. The meat dishes are delicious and the special pizzas and focaccias are very tasty. Super cold cuts and excellent quality bread. Absolutely recommended.

22/08/2025: Italian atmosphere, you can hear the buzz of conversation rather than American pop from the speakers. Prices are moderate, with pizza starting at €8 and many dishes for just a few euros. Italian service. Low prices (for a family of 2+2, €4), and a full meal with drinks for €70. By 7 p.m., there's already a long line outside. I recommend it.

19/08/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner for two. We followed the waiter's advice (very friendly and helpful) and ordered a fish appetizer and main course. Everything was delicious and the fish was fresh. We were very satisfied and would recommend!

19/08/2025: The pizza was really good... a little pricey, but worth it. The pizza chef was excellent. The waiters were a little annoyed with each other, but kind to the diners.

18/08/2025: I've dined at this wonderful restaurant a couple of times. I'll start by talking about the well-structured private parking, convenient for customers. (Finally) a place with the option of eating both inside and outside in a beautiful, well-kept location. Excellent table layout, lighting, and attention to detail! Beautiful! The fast kitchen serves really good dishes and the portions are also decent. (It's not a trattoria for over-filled plates.) The pizza is good. It's not Neapolitan style, but the ingredients and dough are delicious and easy to digest. Exceptional service! Courteous, smiling, and helpful. I recommend bringing a repellent because there are a lot of mosquitoes. The owner is kind and professional! Well done everyone!!

28/08/2025: The location is very beautiful, it's a shame that where we were it was terribly hot and that to get there you have to wait for a shuttle or walk... the place is a bit high up and there's no parking. The service was good, it was also busy, so no complaints... as for dinner, I had the grilled fish, which was really good, perhaps they could have had a little more, given the price... and then the mussels with pepper sauce, which was fabulous.

27/08/2025: Fantastic scenery, very attentive service, delicious food. If you book in advance, you can even dine at a table overlooking the valley, offering incredible views. The value for money is excellent, and the portions are generous: reservations are recommended.

08/07/2025: Go there, no need to say anything else....never think the staff isn't friendly... sometimes having to serve a lot of customers with exceptional food quality/price ratio is not so easy and maybe that pampering is missing for the customer but it is the customer who must understand... dau vescu doesn't need pampering, the food is great and that's fine and then you meet a lot of nice people to have a nice chat. 24/06/2025: The pizza is thin and crispy, very good. The quality/price ratio is adequate. The only discordant note was a character behind the bar who smoked, drank straight and finally even spat in the sink.

05/05/2025: Mangiamo Al 56 ogni volta che torniamo ad Andora, da diversi anni. Un ambiente sobrio e accogliente, un menù semplice che offre standard sicuri ed elevati. Una cucina dai sapori puliti con ingredienti di ottima qualità.
