12/10/2025: RESPECT! Respect is required. Anyone who offers you a fish soup (CIUPPIN in dialect) for the modest sum of €19 and serves you a broth with 4 mussels, 6 clams, 1 small squid, and what were supposed to be anchovies (a fish too small for soup), but which I couldn't count because they fell apart during cooking (leaving the bones intact), serves a nearly inedible dish, certainly not restaurant-quality. This is a recipe made with "poor" fish, a red mullet, a small white sea bream, a barchetta (I don't know what it's called in Italian), etc. The cost per serving is, however, offset by the time it takes (in this case, there wasn't any!) to clean the cooked fish, to serve the cleaned pieces, so they can be eaten with a spoon. This was simply a poor dish, without care or respect. They didn't even bother to serve the classic slice of toasted bread (too much effort!) to accompany the dish. The waiter approached and asked if something was wrong. I replied that what was wrong wasn't something that WAS there, but something that WASN'T there. He never returned. A fine example of Ligurian hospitality!

31/08/2025: We returned after many years and found the same quality as always. The fish is incredibly fresh, especially the turmeric mussel sauté, which is truly original.
The fried food is good, if a little greasy.
The service was quick and courteous, although there was a small mix-up: we found an insect in one of the sandwiches, and instead of replacing the entire bread basket, only that one was removed.
The prices are fair, in line with the quality of the ingredients and the setting.

22/09/2025: Maybe it's the atmosphere, the novelty, or the location, considering that part of the portico we saw, but it seemed like a fantastic place to us. All this without diminishing the deliciousness and abundance of the dishes we enjoyed, all served with great professionalism and kindness. Those five or six tight hairpin bends are definitely worth the effort, especially for the view from that height.
Parking wasn't a problem for us, especially since it was late September.
We'll definitely be back to try their other dishes.

18/10/2025: Welcoming and well-kept restaurant with a glass veranda near the sea. We had lunch (early September) with two first courses and a second course. The first courses were delicious, but the fried fish was delicious, perfectly cooked, the fish was high-quality and fresh, and the value for money was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it. The quality of the fish is truly excellent.
01/10/2025: Clean location, dedicated staff, selection, freshness and refinement. Very friendly staff, seafood fried food is devastating. They have a superb cognac.

07/09/2025: Excellent for food and atmosphere, clearly this leads to slightly high costs that can only be afforded once again... the menu says that there is farinata but when we asked we received the answer that during the summer they don't make it... so don't put it on the menu... even if, being typical of Liguria, perhaps it would be nice to be able to taste it.

04/11/2025: We are two workers and we are offered a menu of the day for lunch... Risotto with courgettes and tripe... 2 tiramisu, half a bottle of loose white wine, a bottle of water, two coffees for the modest price of €73... The bill is made per course... The food is average, nothing exceptional, we definitely won't be back again...

We order a vintage Prosecco from the wine list, they bring us a sparkling wine, we kindly ask
it, and with the same freezing temperature of the empty restaurant, they tell us that we ordered a vintage wine... we try to make the lady understand that the wine list says Prosecco and not Spumante. The restaurateur, who evidently hasn't taken a course in good manners, nor has she ever been captivated by the wonderful world of Italian wine, offers us the only other Prosecco on the list, also not a Prosecco but a sparkling wine from a large retailer. At that point, so as not to ruin our evening and to avoid the lady's arrogance, we let it go.
We ask if there are any appetizers on the menu, given the limited variety... Miss sympathy, with the severity of Miss Rottermeyer, says no, but two minutes later she brings out some bruschetta, not to mention the neighbors.
No comment (probably local customers).
The bill is 80 euros for two borage ravioli and a small appetizer.
No discount.
We paid full wine.
Covers: 3.50, coffee: 2.50.
The strudel is frozen and poorly heated in the microwave.
Good manners and a little hospitality would be appreciated.
Highly not recommended.

08/11/2025: Everything was truly delicious: the lamb tagine with prunes, the vegetarian dish with falafel, red bean cream, chickpea and eggplant hummus; the rose-scented desserts and the Turkish coffee. The staff were very friendly, the prices were reasonable, and it was just steps from the center. What more could you ask for?
