02/07/2025: It's simply wonderful here. I'm surprised at how great the hotel is. I slept wonderfully and am thrilled with the location. It's only a few minutes' walk to the nearest restaurants and the nearest town with a long beach. There are both public areas and rented loungers. What I love most about the hotel, though, is the breakfast. The many homemade products are amazing, whether it's the jams or the many different cakes. A true family business. I'm really looking forward to my time here.
15/06/2025: I can absolutely recommend this place. We planned to stay one night, but it turned out to be four. It's a very nice, clean, family-run business.

01/06/2025: The location is very convenient to the highway. Also recommended if you are traveling and have to make a stop. The staff is very friendly and the owner is passionate about his restaurant. The food was really excellent, we ate two dishes off the menu: vegetables and pasta with lobsters (very fresh). As a second course we ate the octopus proposed by them, probably the best way to eat octopus I have ever tried. The house wine was also excellent, perfect price!
03/05/2025: Very pleasant surprise, simple and spartan place but very refined cuisine.
There were two of us plus our daughter, we ate fish (but they also have meat dishes): everything was very good, from the starter to the dessert.
Fast, attentive and very friendly service.
Outside the center and away from tourist places and of dubious quality.
We will definitely be back! Well done!

21/06/2025: We ordered two take-out pizzas and they arrived 45 minutes late. When we called the restaurant to ask about the delay, they responded rudely without even apologizing or seeming sorry.
29/05/2025: Excellent pizza for dough and ingredients. Easily digestible, it doesn't remain "rubbery" and you can easily eat the edge too. The only criticism is that the peppers on the pizza would be better if they were grilled, for the rest nothing to say. Prices slightly high but still justified by the quality. When I'm in the area it's definitely my favorite pizzeria 👌🏻

08/06/2025: Not to be missed for lovers of good food, drinking even with important labels. Perfect service, very efficient and friendly staff (not to underestimate the friendliness that is often missing) Restaurant dishes, large portions, delicate but incisive.
I will definitely return and I hope it becomes a "recommended" in the Michelin Guide
29/05/2025: I brought six clients to Il Molo Terrazzetta on a friend’s recommendation, and it exceeded all expectations! We were welcomed with an arancino served on a delicate tuna sauce—an incredible start. The tuna steak I had was the freshest and most delicate I’ve ever tasted. The menu beautifully showcases Ligurian ingredients, with a unique twist from Spanish influences thanks to Monica, the owner and chef. The service was very professional, and the atmosphere is effortlessly chic—authentic Italian style. Whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!

18/06/2025: A lovely family run hotel on Albisola seafront. The people who run the hotel are very friendly, helpful and courteous. We went for the half board option. The food (most of it vegan) was delicious and obviously home-made.
I had to take some stars away because even though the location was great (it's only a few metres from the beach) the noise at night was quite extreme with scores of very loud young people going back and forth on foot/car/motorbike to the local discos well into the small hours of the night.
I would definitely go back to this hotel but not in the summer high season.
09/06/2025: Considering that it is an old building, nothing is missing, there is also a shared fridge and microwave. However, they could make some improvements to the structure by eliminating, for example, traces of mold and rust.
The positive notes are certainly the welcome, the attention and availability towards the customer and undoubtedly the cuisine, which surprised me because in addition to the traditional one characterized by simple dishes but with fresh raw materials, there is also the vegan one, which stands out for its creativity and taste (especially in the first courses and desserts), despite the fact that the options offered are not many.
The lack of choice concerns above all breakfast which includes a drink and a croissant or biscuits with jam or single-dose packaged Nutella.
Overall the stay was pleasant and meets the standards of a one-star hotel 🙂

20/06/2025: Old place. Little courtesy, reserved for regular customers (generally inhabitants of Albisola). Prices are quite high, but above all little welcome from the managers, the brothers Mauro and Bruno, who near closing time invite customers to leave the place.

Peccato che Aperol? Non si sentiva nemmeno il sapore. Prosecco? Bo, non pervenuto.
Aperitivo pessimo, almeno per quanto riguarda il bere.
Credo proprio che per 18 euro non ci vedranno più.

04/06/2025: Piccolo angolo tipico del borgo di Albisola superiore, lontano dai turisti incapaci di addentrarsi in questi luoghi. Menù inaspettatamente ricco per la tipologia del locale, ma di fattura casalinga, quindi purtroppo abbondante e per fortuna senza inutili fronzoli sul mitico e di moda impiattamento, forse nemmeno italiano inventato dagli ormai fastidiosi chef "famosi", insopportabili. Si rimane stupiti dalla qualità semplice degli elaborati e dai prezzi ancora onesti, come ormai sulla costa inguardabili.
07/04/2025: Noi e i nostri amici abbiamo pranzato per ben due volte in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Albisola Superiore e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato bene in un ambientino simpatico. Graditi particolarmente la pastasciutta con sugo olive e acciughe e il brandacujun, spero si scriva così, un piatto della tradizione a base di merluzzo. Consigliato soprattutto a chi cerca il tipico e non i locali "per turisti ".

2. un tagliolino ai funghi (diviso per due).
3. Un coniglio con patate (diviso per due).
4. 3/4 di vino della casa.
5. 2 caffè e due amari.
77 euro!
Alla faccia della locanda! Ahahah.
11/11/2024: Buon cibo, porzioni abbondanti, buona varietà di scelta, personale cordiale, location un po' verso l'entroterra, chiamata locanda, ma i prezzi sono da ristorante di qualità, mangiando dall'antipasto al dolce si spendono almeno 60€ a testa!
