22/07/2025: This delightful little restaurant is set under the trees in the pretty little village square. An interesting menu features some local specialties which is nice to see and the family are friendly and welcoming. I had the ravioli which were delicious and my friend had the lasagne, which is unfortunately where it went all went wrong and stopped me from awarding 5 stars which is a shame. The lasagne looked lovely when it arrived but when my friend took a mouthful it was stone cold, un fact it was bordering on still frozen in the middle! The waitress apologised profusely and returned with a piping hot version, but surely this is a very basic error that should never have left the kitchen. To be fair they were very apologetic and offered us complimentary coffee but such a shame.
14/07/2025: This little restaurant is a gem. We had a nice long lunch in early July 2025. The food was fabulous. Extremely fresh creative salad. We also had a type of homemade pasta that was very different and terrific. The food was so good that we had desert, which we usually don't do for lunch. Both homemade desserts were also terrific. An added plus was that this restaurant is run by a very hard-working family with an interesting back story. Lastly, also our server (daughter of the owner I believe) had a big smile, and every request was met with "of course" and her great service to go with the great food.

03/09/2025: I've been to several restaurants, but the marine enchantment has amazed me. Excellent food, excellent service, waiters attentive to the smallest details. I don't know what to say. The only thing I can recommend is to go at least once to try it.

26/08/2025: A fabulous experience. The restaurant is located in a small, quiet village, lit by candles and soft lighting. We ate at a table outside the restaurant, overlooking the village streets.
Excellent value.
We ate very refined and beautifully presented seafood dishes.
The owner and the waiters were very friendly and kind.
We will definitely be back.
13/08/2025: I ate there last Friday with my girlfriend and her dog, and we cried tears of joy just from the appetizer because it was so incredibly delicious. Besides the food, the waiters were also a 12/10, so lovely. And the ambiance is incomparable. Thank you so much! We'll be back!

30/06/2025: Having read the other reviews, I decided to try Cala Beach….but…. something didn’t work….my partner and I took 2 appetizers, no first courses, 2 side dishes and they told us that they would make us a fish caught that day, then filleted and served, too bad that 3 small pieces of fish arrived on a bed of vegetables, water, bottle of wine, 2 coffees…all this for the modest sum of €122…now I ask myself a question…who says they spent €20/30 what did they eat!? An appetizer for 2? Nice place by the sea…but we won’t be back…
27/06/2025: If you want to dine with the sea in the background, this is the right place. Excellent dinner and competent for gluten-free. Not accredited by AIC (Italian Celiac Association) but my celiac daughter ate excellent toasted bread with mussels, gluten-free pasta.

Viamare - Ristorante del Tropicana Beach

17/08/2025: Beach resort in Fiumaretta, with young and very helpful staff, and a wide variety of choices at the bar and restaurant. Prices are in line with the times: first courses around €15, second courses €20 and up, packaged ice creams around €2.50 on average, one umbrella and two deckchairs for a month €600. Parking in front is available only for seasonal guests, with prior reservation. Open from breakfast until after dinner, the Tropicana is a popular location for private events and parties with DJ sets. Disco nights are also organized in the summer. I came from another beach resort, and honestly, I've gotten better! I've returned to Fiumaretta and stayed in the same apartment I'm currently staying in (practically right next door), but the Tropicana is still my beach resort!

27/05/2025: Che dire un ottimo ristorante, ben curato, personale gentile e preparato ad ogni esigenza e pronto a consigliarti. Partendo dall'antipasto al dolce e una goduria per il palato. Piatti curati e ben presentati la qualità del cibo è ottimo e freschi.
27/05/2025: Entrare a La Lucerna di Ferro è come immergersi in una sinfonia gastronomica dove ogni piatto è una nota che vibra dolcemente nell’aria, accompagnando la cena con grazia e intensità. Qui la cucina non si limita a soddisfare il palato: racconta, emoziona, avvolge.
Si inizia con gli antipasti, un vero e proprio omaggio alla tradizione Ligure-Toscana. Ogni assaggio è un’eco autentica del territorio, capace di evocare storie di confine, di colline che scendono al mare e di ricette custodite nel tempo. È un inizio che accarezza, preparando il palato con eleganza e calore.
Il primo piatto è una vera rivelazione: gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare sono eseguiti con maestria, in un equilibrio perfetto tra la sapidità del mare e la delicatezza della pasta al dente. Ogni boccone è una melodia che si apre e si sviluppa con profondità, lasciando un gusto persistente e armonioso.
I secondi di pesce sono la degna prosecuzione di questo concerto di sapori: piatti curati, intensi, cotti con precisione e rispetto per la materia prima. Il pesce è protagonista assoluto, raccontato con passione e servito in composizioni che uniscono semplicità e raffinatezza.
La Lucerna di Ferro è un’esperienza che va oltre il pasto: è una serata accompagnata da sapori che suonano insieme, in perfetta armonia. Un luogo dove tornare per lasciarsi trasportare ancora, nota dopo nota.

23/07/2025: I called the restaurant today, July 23rd, to check if it was open, and double-checked the number (Facebook and Google). The manager said yes. I went to the entrance. "They told me it's closed."
This restaurant is difficult to access on foot.
Thank you for the unnecessary waste of time and the hassle of getting back.
I do not recommend it.

Very uncomfortable two single mattresses that open in the center of the double bed.
Decent breakfast.
On site I paid 15 euros more than the booking price.

11/07/2025: Da anni durante le nostre vacanze in liguria pranziamo e ceniamo alla Locanda della Nonna. Siamo entusiasti sia per le pizze eccellenti che per il servizio familiare e caloroso.

16/06/2025: Premetto che sono campano e la pizza in questa attività è molto buona alla napoletana il problema è che diverse volte mi sono recato lì per la pizza e mi hanno risposto che era possibile solo il menù ristorante! …… chissà perché ? Eppure l’ insegna recita PIZZERIA CON CUCINA …..aiaiaiaiaoaooaiiiiiii la furbizia porta poco lontano cari gestori! Non va bene. 😌.

23/09/2024: locale storico, situato sulla bocca del fiume Magra, a poche centinaia di metri dalla spiaggia di Fiumaretta. Posizione eccellente, con uno splendido e grande bersò e tarrazza coperta sul fiume.
Peronale disponibile e cortese, piatti nella media, fritto misto eccellente.

01/05/2025: Una pizza leggera con un impasto biologico veramente ottima! Ambiente moderno e ben curato , niente è lasciato al caso dell'apparecchiatura al servizio eccellente ! Ho assaggiato la pizza che porta il loro nome in menu...che dire buonissima! Burrata e acciughe di Monterosso...ma la scelta non è stata facile le avrei volute assaggiare tutte! Ci tornerò e ve lo consiglio!
30/04/2025: Kind staff, very nice dishes. We’ve been there twice because it was so delicious. Even the childeren would like to go back. The first night we had pizza, the second night ravioli. We realy enjoyed having diner here
