21/09/2025: A charming and well-kept restaurant with a view of Rocca Farnese, which is very picturesque in the evening, and stunning photos. The light cuisine is fine for certain dishes (e.g., fettuccine with Maremma ragu), but not for others. The "Degana Preti" (a type of pasta dish) lacked any seasoning and was flavorless. The veal, which was cooked with hazelnuts, was good, but the hazelnuts in the mayonnaise were barely noticeable.

I got the parmigiana for 15 euros.

21/09/2025: Nice place, excellent food, breakfast/lunch/dinner. We had lunch, tonnarelli sea bass and cherry tomatoes for two, delicious. Two Cokes, one water, homemade ice cream, very fair prices, friendly staff.
We'll be back for lunch again today.
21/09/2025: Years have passed, but Gitano remains my favorite place. The little wooden house with its beautiful veranda overlooking the lake still has its charm. From here, you can admire the lake in 360°, a lake that never has the same color, but is always beautiful.
This year, the big news: in charge, we have a wonderful staff of 20-year-olds; beautiful, smiling, and extremely courteous. They always keep this place tidy and clean. The food is excellent; my favorite dish is octopus with potatoes. Francesco, our legendary lifeguard, is always there. His strong point? His ability to engage the children and keep their "screaming" parents at bay so they can take a nice nap in the afternoon. Thanks to all the staff, and see you next year. Hugs, Emanuela

02/11/2025: We were five people for lunch, we were welcomed by Daniele, he accompanied us to the table and each of us ordered a different dish, very short waiting time, excellent first courses definitely with handmade pasta, excellent fried seafood, veal steaks of unique goodness exceptional house white wine, overall we were all satisfied, price more than acceptable, we will definitely come back to visit you.
02/11/2025: Terrible. The mixed antipasto of pickles and seafood fettuccine amatriciana tasted only of parmesan cheese. The house wine was poor. €70 for two was definitely a steal.

15/09/2025: We only ate there, so my review doesn't concern the hotel but only the restaurant: the service (Nico) was truly attentive and precise. The dishes were plentiful and well-cooked, and the price was reasonable. We ate spaghetti with clams, gnocchi with scampi, grilled vegetables, and seafood salads: everything was incredibly fresh and, most importantly, served on a splendid veranda overlooking the lake.

25/04/2025: Abbiamo pranzato oggi in questo ristorante io mio marito e la mia bambina di 8 anni , parto dal locale semplice ma ben tenuto sulle rive del lago , finalmente un ristorante di un certo livello in questa zona !
Partendo dal presupposto che in questo ristorante non vai per abbuffarti ma vai per assaporare volevo fare anche qui i complimenti allo chef !
Piatti belli da vedere e squisiti da mangiare , materie prime freschissime e selezionate !
Qualcuno che valorizza i prodotti tipici del posto!
I due camerieri due ragazzi giovani educati , bravissimi spiegano con cura tutti i piatti !
Mi è piaciuto tantissimo tutto ciò che ho assaggiato dall’antipasto al dolce! La brioche squisita!
Torneremo presto per assaggiare gli altri piatti del menù !
Non è mia abitudine scrivere recensioni ma quando qualcuno sa lavorare con impegno e professionalità va detto!

13/04/2025: Locale accogliente, con una bellissima vista sul lago. Tavoli adeguatamente distanziati. Servizio curato; personale attento e preparato. Ogni portata rappresenta una coccola, per la vista e per il palato, a partire dall'omaggio iniziale di olio del territorio, accompagnato da pani particolari. Cucina ricercata ma senza strafare, il che rende l'esperienza estremamente piacevole. In coppia, abbiamo optato per il menu alla carta; torneremo per provare uno tra i menù degustazione. Prezzo assolutamente adeguato, considerando la qualità delle materie prime, la presentazione e la cura nella preparazione dei piatti. Comodo parcheggio di fronte al locale
