Having happened by chance after a visit to Palestrina, we came to Zi Rico... what can I say... ENTERTAINMENT!
Sara is very kind, Enrico is passionate about his work (and you can feel it), everyone is nice!
And now the food...WHAT I TELL YOU TO DO!
One of the places where we ate best (and we visited).

19/05/2025: We relied on Andrea and his staff to celebrate our daughter's communion. For us, his cuisine has always been a guarantee, and this time too our expectations were not betrayed. Excellent and tasty food, with a mix of flavors that leaves the palate satisfied; plating and smells that make you want to eat (because the eye also wants its part), the plates always came back empty. Our guests enjoyed everything from start to finish.
The fruit tart was the icing on the cake, good is an understatement!
A round of applause also for the attention given to ensuring that we and another banquet each had their own space to celebrate, even if in the same room.
Needless to say, we will definitely be back to celebrate our important events, or even simply for a lunch/dinner.

03/05/2025: Restaurant that has been a point of reference in the area for years to eat fish for my family. I came back today, after some time. Very disappointing experience. The mixed appetizer served cold from the refrigerator. I order an appetizer which on the menu is called "seafood soup with chickpeas". I get a plate with some mussels, chickpeas, a piece of sea bream full of bones and a large crustacean on top (perhaps a leftover from the main course fish soup???). I call the waitress, tell her that perhaps they were wrong, that the appetizer referred specifically to seafood. She tries to convince me that sea bream and prawns are seafood (!!!!). In the end she asks me if I prefer a sauté of mussels and clams, I willingly accept and I also tell her to make me a small portion, because that broth full of thorns had already made me nauseated. Result: he charges me for both dishes - “soup” and sauté. I paid without batting an eyelid, knowing that I will never return here again. A huge disappointment
19/01/2025: We were guests of an 18th party last evening, and I couldn't help but review the place, the restaurant is really very beautiful, it has various rooms, especially outdoors for the arrival of summer, where you can certainly enjoy a beautiful view, the staff who work there are friendly, polite but above all well prepared, and what can I say about the food? The food is really good! The only thing that I must say that I liked least was the gnocchi which "in my personal opinion" were a little chewy but this does not take anything away from the fact that the food is fantastic, and I would happily go back to eat there on other occasions.

17/04/2025: I was a regular customer several years ago and I remember the beauty and uniqueness of that place. After Covid, unfortunately, but I don't blame it, he wasn't able to recover well, a month ago I went back after 5 years and the place was the same, not that unique as usual, both outside and inside, a dive into my childhood.
The pizza could have been better, but all in all good, the service too, maybe an extra waiter wouldn't hurt, and a flaw could be the slowness of the pizzas in arriving, I didn't like the Ascoli olives at all, little olive flavor and too hard, but the tiramisu was delicious.
All in all it was nice to go back and I decided to give the place three stars, but I hope to be able to give it more in the future.
My vote is also influenced by the location: in the center of the square, few people, which for a restaurant is relaxing, parking nearby, recognizable and welcoming structure, especially the staff.
26/02/2025: It was the first time we came to eat here. Menu with wide choice, we had fried food, pizza and dessert. Really excellent products, price commensurate with the service. A stone's throw from the main square. We'll be back. Absolutely recommended.

Niente altro da dire
23/02/2025: Siamo stati qui a cena un sabato, abbiamo scelto il menù pizza, 18€ compreso il dolce e escluse le bevande. Abbiamo prenotato, arriviamo e il tavolo lo preparano al momento, non sanno dove metterti, nel frattempo dietro di noi entramo altre 3 persone e le fanno subito accomodare. Sistemato il tavolo ci portano i menù,una bottiglia d'acqua e una caponata offerta da loro. Prendono le ordinazioni, specificando che la boscaiola la prendiamo base bianca e non rossa come da menù. Dopo un tempo indefinito chiediamo dove sono le 2 bottigliette di fanta, ce le portano subito ma senza aprirci il tappo con l'apri bottiglie, chiediamo se ce le possono aprire. Dopo più di un'ora ci portano il mix di fritti: patatine, olive ascolane e verdura, tutto congelato e su questo niente da dire ma il supplì qualcosa di immangiabile, si sentiva un retrogusto di limone, lasciato al piatto, la bruschetta l'unica che si salva insieme ai fritti citati prima. Portano le pizze, due margherite e una boscaiola base rossa,avvisiamo la cameriera che l'avevamo chiesta base bianca, ce la rifanno. Dolce, sul tiramisù nulla da dire, classico. Prezzo onesto, 22€ a testa. Ma la non coordinazione tra i camerieri è qualcosa di assurdo, ogni volta ci venivano portati piatti destinati ad altri tavoli, aspettavamo le pizze e un cameriere chiede se erano per noi i caffè. Sarebbe da rivedere l'organizzazione in sala, per il bene di tutti, ma specialmente per i camerieri che vagano di tavolo in tavolo cercando quello giusto.
