16/09/2024: Il posto è molto bello, all'interno del castello, c'è la possibilità di bar e ristorante, l'accessibilità iniziale è limitata da alcuni scalini ma all'interno il bagno ha la rampa, atmosfera bella.

24/07/2024: Unfortunately, even in this place the ax of time has passed to reap it as the victim of an inadequate service that pays little attention to the needs of customers who are not even that demanding. Let me explain better: from the menu we choose draft beers among the 5/6 available, but first with the red, then with the double malt... we are told one after the other that they were not present, until we got annoyed we asked the waitress to tell us directly what was available without beating around the bush, only to hear us reply that only a blonde was available... she could have told us straight away. And then again: a diner orders pulled pork bites and the rest of us fried them, after a quarter of an hour, twenty minutes at most, an acceptable time (also because there must have been 10 souls in the whole place including the staff) they bring us everything but what was supposed to be a portion of pulled pork bites turns out to be simple chicken nuggets. We immediately point this out to the waitress who justifies herself by saying that they were not available and from the kitchen they thought (badly, ed.) of sending the nuggets. At this point I feel obliged to make a couple of notes: a) What if my friend was allergic to chicken? It would have been good practice to warn the forced change before seeing him fall to the ground. b) Who authorizes you to change orders without asking first? What if we don't like chicken? I won't go into further detail because I think I've said too much for just one evening, and I conclude by saying that it's a real shame to have to cross off a place from my personal list of "likes" in the area, which had started off really well with the issue of cool sandwiches and Steck House.

07/11/2024: it's okay that it's a historic hotel, but it requires a lot of extra maintenance and cleaning, in almost the entire hotel there's an absurd smell of a dead cat, stains of I don't know what on the chair covers, broken shower blowers and it doesn't hang (nonsense but added to other no) and soap holder broken/blocked and rusty. Very poor buffet breakfast, however the staff were quite friendly and helpful, due to the excellent location for the center and what is nearby, it's a shame about the parking which they don't have and you have to walk 15 minutes all up or down stairs

07/11/2024: Poor breakfast, they only brought croissants and there was milk and coffee. Good though. Old and dirty rooms, we had a dirty armchair cover in the room, it looked like someone had vomited on it. In the bathroom the water from the sink didn't come down immediately and in the shower we had to leave the shower head free because it didn't fit where it was supposed to be placed. Dust everywhere and furniture that looked like it had lived through the Second World War. The hotel is centrally located, near the historic center, just a few steps away, but there was no parking, we didn't know where to park the car and we certainly couldn't take it to the room. As for the view, everything was ok, I looked out onto the hotel entrance and had that fountain in front. Other than the cleaning, however, everything went well. Only the mattresses were as hard as rocks
