10/08/2024: A very beautiful place. After our first visit, we decided to return and experience this fascinating spot again. The food and wine were incredible and absolutely delicious! We had the fish and calamari, both of which were mouthwatering. The service was nice and fast! Many thanks to Matteo, the owner’s nephew, and Francesco, the owner, for providing such a great evening with a wonderful atmosphere and truly excellent food!

30/08/2024: An excellent fine dining experience. We had a great rapport with the server. As we didn’t feel like having wine again, we opted for a delicious gin and tonic. We also had a very helpful sous chef that came with every dish to explain what we are having. We started off with amuse-bouche - rice cracker with ricotta, dried tomatoes and lemon zest, paired with breaded slow cooked beef tongue in bechamel sauce. A great starter. The bread was especially well made with a high quality olive oil on the side. For the main course we had the pig suckling with zucchini, mint and apricot foam. The meat was flavourful and the crackling fresh and crisp. The fruity flavours go perfectly together with the pork meat. The second dish was pigeon with figs, in port sauce. The pigeon is served in different states of doneness - from raw to fully cooked depending on the cut. Subtle and tender. For dessert - chocolate mousse with rhubarb ice cream, topped with chocolate crispies and caviar. You get that mouth crackling and popping with the candy inside the crispies. The second desert is crepes with orange and basil. This dish is much more subdued than it appears, more tangy and sour. Overall it was a great experience. I wish we had the time to try the tasting menu, but this was great on its own. A wholehearted recommend.

16/06/2024: We celebrated our wedding in this restaurant. Thanks to Angelo and his staff for giving us a wonderful day. Dishes with attention to the smallest detail, attention to guests, an enchanting place allowed us to fully enjoy an important day. Congratulations from all the guests. I love your fish starters, the shrimp, lemon and rocket gnocchi are always my favourites, the dessert buffet is top!!! Very fresh raw materials. Enjoy all the courses and the meat menu chosen for some guests. The perfect attentive but always discreet service. Thanks again!!!

10/08/2024: A very attentive service, right down to the provision of fans to cope with the heat, it's the detail that makes all the difference! Thank you to the entire restaurant team for their warm welcome and sympathy. It's an excellent address that I highly recommend, even if it requires moving a little away from the lake front. Here you will have the pleasure of tasting excellent fresh homemade pasta, it was truly a treat. I will return for dinner and lunch with great pleasure during my next stay. Don't change anything!

30/08/2024: Fresh fish. Starters not exceptional. 3 out of 6 courses with carasau bread and at most one anchovy on top. There was very little fish. Disorganized service. We received 3/4 of the starters we should have paid for. You can't breathe inside the room.

29/08/2024: I had dinner a few days ago at upside down with my father and my partner, we came specifically from Ostia as we wanted to visit Nettuno and the surrounding area and we were pleasantly surprised. High quality food, fresh fish and affordable prices. The waiters are ready to satisfy every need and are very friendly, making you feel welcomed from the first moment. I hope to return one day

17/06/2024: I didn't believe they could reach such high levels.....amazing fried fish and squid, there were 10 of us at the table and we were all amazed by the quality of the fish and how it was fried. Plus it arrived on time and hot.... absolute top for me!

04/08/2024: Excellent solution for a weekend in Nettuno. Very friendly staff, minimal breakfast (gluten-free products available), excellent location a few meters from the beaches. The only downside was the lack of change of towels.

27/07/2024: Excellent food, excellent meat, the only negative note in my opinion was the type of bread, too heavy so as not to appreciate the flavor of the burger, so I had to remove the sandwich.

18/08/2024: Vado dal Folle per la prima volta, personale cortese e preparato! Mangio un piccolo antipasto (nella norma) e un primo con scampi, calamari e pomodorini davvero ottimo!!

12/08/2024: Ottimo antipasto di crudi in 10 portate , pesce veramente molto fresco. Molto buona anche la cacio e pepe con i gamberi ma ancora più buono lo spaghetto col polpo e pecorino. Consigliato !!

13/08/2024: I had dinner here, meat menu and I must say that I found the cuisine excellent even if very traditional. Very good value for money, fresh and nice external environment under the pine forest, the internal room is very large and when the place is full there is too much background confusion.. Anyway, definitely coming back!

11/08/2024: I had dinner with a couple of friends and I have to say that the food is really very good, I'm not a big fan of the absence of the menu however, I agree that it's a restaurant but at least a sheet of paper with written what's with the prices wouldn't hurt. For the rest, fairly quick service, very generous first courses and very good second courses with meat
