18/01/2026: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience on what was supposed to be a special day. We came to celebrate a birthday and were left more dissatisfied than ever before. We ordered two first courses, a second course with a side dish, and a tiramisu. I should point out that the restaurant wasn't crowded, even though it was Sunday lunchtime, and the larger tables were already finishing dessert when we were seated. We started with the two first courses: while we waited, they brought us two bruschettas on the house, which were very welcome, but we never imagined we'd have to wait an hour for two first courses. We waited politely, hoping something would arrive, but nothing. At 2:30 PM, we timidly asked if there was a problem and were informed that they were going to contact the kitchen. The response was that THEY THOUGHT THEY'D ALREADY SERVED US THE FIRST COURSE BECAUSE THE ORDER COULD NOT BE FOUND. Speechless and starving, we sigh, deciding to wait a little longer, just a step away from getting up and leaving. After another 10 minutes, the dishes arrive, alas, tiny. Barely 70 grams of pasta (for a price of 14 euros, and it was essentially pasta with sauce, bacon, and basil), and mine, which called for crispy bacon (as stated on the menu), arrived with hastily boiled bacon in the sauce, which, given that it's a very fatty cut, you can imagine how it turned out. The second course: a mixed grill with chicory. We also had to ask for this dish, as nothing arrived. They came back to tell us that they'd get it delivered right away, but that they didn't have any chicory. The €16 grilled meal arrives, which according to them should include four small pieces of meat: 30 grams of lamb, 10 grams of which are boned, a lump of some unknown, raw red meat (which we had to spit out into a napkin because it was indecipherable), a tiny rib with only the bone, and half a sausage. Speechless. Finally, we were starving and saw the tiramisu at the next table: a generous cup, so much so that we decided to order it to hold the candles. For no reason at all, we were served a tiramisu in a coffee cup with a piece of hard-as-a-walnut ladyfingers and the melted cream inexplicably too hot. Disappointed, we went to the cashier to pay, only to find that they had charged us for radicchio, a beer, and other items we never ordered. Instead of offering a discount for all these inconveniences, they were charging us for extras. We arrived at 1:30 PM and left at 3:30 PM with empty stomachs and wallets. A terrifying experience: embarrassing wait times, tiny portions, exorbitant prices, and mediocre food. Luckily, when we got home, we stopped by the supermarket and made ourselves an amatriciana with real crispy guanciale, and we got a real dessert from the pastry shop to blow out our candles, and we made up for it. P.S. I only took photos of the pasta (before tasting it) because later, with every setback we got, we thought we were in a candid camera and gave up.

18/01/2026: I know him well because we've hosted receptions there. Always excellent in terms of quality and courtesy.

20/12/2025: Beautiful location, even if it's in the middle of nowhere. A terrible culinary experience. Not much food for the price paid.
