16/09/2025: Found by chance on The Fork, prices below average, all traditional Neapolitan products. Excellent appetizers and pizza, we'll definitely be back. It's a shame we had to wait a while for the pizzas, but the quality was worth it.
07/09/2025: Located in Genzano di Roma on the street where the town annually hosts the Infiorata, a display of works designed with real flowers (photos attached on the restaurant's website). Beautiful restaurant with attention to detail. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful with any questions or requests about the menu.
I went on a Saturday night and it was very busy. I recommend booking a table in advance. Service was a little slow, probably due to the large crowd. The food was delicious. I had a mix of fried foods and pizza (pizza and Neapolitan fried foods). I'd definitely go back.

07/05/2025: The best dinner we had in Italy, period! Steak is a must.. Carbonara is the best! This restaurant is a little bit tucked away, but give it a try. It was very reasonably priced and no frill. You will love it!!!
13/04/2025: A very pleasant and delicious evening. An intimate and relaxing atmosphere. I go out for dinner to relax, chat, and eat well. My wife is a vegetarian. We had let them know, and they had prepared a special version of their appetizers. Everything exceeded my expectations in this decidedly pleasant Genzano setting.

01/11/2025: I came this evening, recommended by my boyfriend Marco, and I can say I ate one of the best steaks of my life (and I'm very picky about meat). My compliments! Everything was delicious.

I've eaten at Dar Parente several times, and it's always a guarantee.
Over the years, it has maintained the same quality: the food is exquisite, from appetizers to first courses, pizzas, and desserts.
The service was excellent; the ladies who served us were always ready to accommodate every request and made sure the dinner went smoothly.
The prices were very fair; the atmosphere was family-friendly, simple, homey, and welcoming.
I would definitely go back again!!

13/07/2025: I hate to give it one star, but it's fair to acknowledge the slow service. When you call to make a reservation, they don't tell you about the "biblical" wait times. The pizza is good, even though I ate it "haphazardly," not because I was hungry. It's unthinkable to be served after 1.5 hours without being notified. We sat down at 9:00 PM, and the first pizza arrived at 10:35 PM. When we politely pointed this out to a waiter, he exclaimed, "We have so many pizzas to make." Since there were so few people in the dining room, the many pizzas were for takeout. That's not good! Especially since, after our complaints and those of another couple in the dining room, they continued with takeout. I only stayed because there were two children at my table and it was really late.
So what can I say? If you decide to go, either go "already eaten" or arm yourself with a lot of patience.

14/09/2025: Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with delivery through Just Eat. I'll quickly summarize... Order placed for delivery at 9:15 PM, delivered at 9:55 PM. Seven pizzas, one cooked normally, and the other six were burnt on the bottom. I contacted the restaurant and the girl at 9:30 PM told me that it's normal that if a restaurant assigns a time, that time is considered the time from that time onwards... The taste was also good. I don't want to be unfairly judgmental, but if you can't offer an additional service, I'd avoid providing it.

04/11/2025: We ate well, although the service was very slow despite the small number of people there. The restaurant would have great potential given its lakefront location, if it weren't for the lack of attention and cleanliness. What a shame!

10/07/2025: Locale suggestivo sul lago di Nemi. Antipasto strepitoso, piatti tipici che ti portano indietro nel tempo. Personale gentile e velocissimo nel servizio. Serata molto piacevole, informale, come a casa. Prezzo giusto. Straconsiglio
20/04/2025: Locale spoglio, arredamento e illuminazione datati ed obsoleti.
Cibo nella media (per essere generosi) ma non i prezzi (secondo me un po' altini) in relazione alla quantità delle porzioni.
Antipasto con speck e pancetta insignificanti, crostini con salsiccia insapori, la mia bistecca arrivata fredda e stracotta (avevo chiesto cottura media).
Assenza di riscaldamento, se non 3 o 4 funghi a gas per una sala doppia e abbastanza ampia.
Servizio confusionario e disorganizzato.
Nella serata in cui ero a cena era arrivata (improvvisa) una prenotazione per 60 persone e per "fare spazio" hanno fatto spostare dei tavoli con i clienti già accomodati che da soli han dovuto portarsi piatti, bicchieri, posate, ecc. ad un altro tavolo.
Non ci venivo da molti anni, credo che se non cambi qualcosa non riuscirò a tornarci.

23/12/2024: Locale carino e appena ristrutturato, pulito e a conduzione familiare.
Pizza fina e buona, personale gentile e celere.
Si trova in centro paese quindi per il parcheggio auto bisogna avere un pò di pazienza nel trovarlo.

21/12/2023: Nel locale si stava strettissimi. Tempi di attesa esorbitanti, antipasti serviti dopo un'ora e mezza! Pizza gommosa , praticamente cruda .Esperienza da non ripetere assolutamente!!!

17/08/2023: Trattoria storica dei Castelli romani gestita della Famiglia Mariani (il noto Elio ha passato le consegne ai "giovani"), che offre la tradizione della classica pizza romana sottile e croccante. D'estate si può mangiare nel fresco pergolato/porticato che c'è all'esterno. La pizza è molto digeribile. Ci sono anche menù molto convenienti, prezzi accessibili.
24/07/2023: Avevamo voglia di pizza romana. Da ragazzi ci venivamo spesso ed era sempre pieno. Il venerdì di luglio 2023 era vuoto. Ci ero stato da soli verso aprile e sinceramente avevo mangiato bene. E invece questo venerdì abbiamo preso tutti supplì.. Si solo un euro ma era la metà di un supplì normale. E fatto i conti che si eravamo soli in 3 e pagato 36€ ma cercando di tirare le somme i 6€ in più che ci ha fatto pagare non uscivamo.. Presumo sia il coperto.. Ma 2€ a testa?? È il 20% di conto in più. Spero che non chiudete.. Ma la via sembra quella.

28/02/2025: Da piacevole sorpresa a sensazionale conferma! Locale informale, a gestione familiare, perfetto per una serata con amici o familiari. Sembra di mangiare a casa di mamma, dove ogni piatto ti riporta indietro al tempo della tua infanzia! Genuinità, prodotti e materie prime spesso locali e di alta qualità, scelta varia di primi e secondi, tra cui anche vasta alternativa di carni cucinate con esperienza e sapienza. Antipasti molto particolari, ma al contempo con un legame stretto con la tradizione e con estremo equilibrio di sapori. Ampia scelta di vini e di whisky, amari, grappe "ammazzacaffè". Dolci fatti in casa dalla chef Emanuela. In sala Giuseppe, Matteo e Francesco che sanno guidare il cliente in un vero percorso esperienziale culinario di alto livello.
03/02/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and found a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature, excellent home cooking, a great wine selection, and fair prices. It felt like eating at a friend's house. We'll definitely be back.
