A perfectly normal Italian name and surname, but instead I witnessed a mixture of astonishment and skepticism on the lady's face, and she made me repeat it more than four times, as if I'd recited an apotropaic prayer in archaic Ostrogoth. Once I finally received these packages, I had already lost the desire to have an aperitif here, and before leaving, I said goodbye, as per my polite instructions. Absolute silence, no response from the lady who went to serve the others, ignoring me for the last time. And for the last time, I was here. Never again.
