11/03/2026: We were coming off a fairly generous aperitivo, so we all had a first course and dessert.
All different and all excellent; we'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the service is 3 stars. The waiters are friendly, but the wait is very long. 3.5 hours for lunch is excessive. We definitely weren't lucky.
4-star location.

24/02/2026: My experience at this restaurant at the end of January was terrible. The appetizer smelled of ham, and the slices had a very dark stain that made them inedible. The first course was nothing special but acceptable. The cod Piacenza-style was inedible, full of water and onions, and the cod was stringy. The final highlight was the dessert zabaglione with sbrisolona, served cold at zero degrees Celsius, and returned intact. With the bill already paid (€40 each), the fresh zabaglione arrived, which I didn't eat because we were already leaving. The bill also included the dessert, which I certainly didn't eat. Naturally, I paid by credit card and had the receipt in my hand so I'll remember never to return.

13/08/2025: We returned to this B&B and restaurant after a good 20 years, and it remains one of our favorite places! The hospitality was top-notch, as always, and it's a great place to relax! The garden is beautiful, and as always, the food is divine! The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

08/12/2025: Well... there were two of us, we had two mixed cold cuts, two polenta with wild boar, half a bottle of wine, water, coffee in a place that was certainly not elegant, 77 euros....

01/01/2025: Taverna inserita nel cortile del castello di Vigoleno con paesaggio suggestivo, personale discreto ed efficiente, menu' con cucina tipica emiliana, salumi buoni, pisarei e faso' buoni, dolci buoni, da provare.
29/12/2024: Locale bello e pulito, mangiare buonissimo, prezzi onesti ma sorattutto la signora che serve ai tavoli con dei grossi occhiali neri educatissima e gentilissima. Super consigliato!

02/05/2025: Trattoria di una volta e rimasta tale anche nell'arredamento, gnocco fritto non unito e salumi eccellenti. Buonissimi anche i primi piatti e ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale gentile, soprattutto la cameriera.

29/09/2024: Agriturismo intinto in uno splendido paesaggio appenninico,ricavato dalla ristrutturazione di una fornace di fine 700.All'interno 2 salette da pranzo rustiche ed ordinate,ambiente molto familiare .Il servizio è curato da Miriam,angelica fanciulla dotata di solerzia,garbo e grazia.Il nostro desinare s'è composto di 2 generosi antipasti con salumi di rara bontà,compagnati da giardiniera casereccia, focaccia calda e bortolina.2 primi,plin di zucca con amaretti e anolini al formaggio,apprezzatissimi.1 secondo,battuta di manzo con fichi caramellati,letteralmente sbranato.Come epilogo uno squisito dessert.La parte beverina s'è pregiata d'un inebriante gerwuztraminer una bottiglia d'acqua potabile e caffè.Prima del commiato avendo notato servire delle accattivanti pizze abbiamo deciso di esportarne una da gustare a magione.Conto totale e probo di 99 euro.A Dio piacendo arrivederci e grazie...
