18/02/2026: A charming restaurant in the central Piazza del Castello. The location is stunning, right from the entrance (with its medieval sign). The restaurant is very bright and spacious, with huge windows overlooking the beautiful hilly landscape. We ate traditional Piacenza dishes, from cured meats to the first course (Pisarei beans). Herb ravioli and rose bread completed the menu. Impeccable service, extremely kind and precise. Fair prices.
28/01/2026: This is a belated posting which I felt compelled to write.
On a cold winter’s day in mid Dec, we were treated to one of the most amazing dining experiences. Giovanni, thank you very very much to your professionalism, kindness and friendliness. The food was simple and yet fantastic. The setting with the view was truly splendid. Unforgettable. My best wishes to your continued success.

05/11/2025: A well-preserved and charming castle located a short distance from Piacenza, with 15th-century towers, a large internal courtyard with pleasant green spaces, and a perimeter moat. It often hosts events, including the interesting Fair of Ancient Fruits and Flowers, featuring displays of artisanal food and textiles.
The only complaint is the restrooms, consisting of unhygienic cubicles that are inadequate for the high number of people attending the various events.
03/11/2025: I went for a fair and it was pleasant to walk around the large space around the castle. The whole thing is very characteristic.

20/12/2025: From the outside, it looks like a place you wouldn't believe, right on the road, a simple farmhouse, typical of the area. But as soon as you step inside, you're greeted with a disarming smile and immediately feel at home. The food is divine, excellent quality, first courses excellent (the tortelli are simply mouth-watering), and the second courses a riot of deliciousness.
We've been frequenting this trattoria for over 10 years, but every time it's a unique experience. I'm moved to tears because places like this are so rare these days.

30/12/2025: I had lunch with my family. The food was delicious and everyone loved it. The waiter was kind and helpful, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and even my dog, Lima, a toy poodle, came in. I was very satisfied.

01/09/2025: A very friendly welcome and attentive service. The seafood trofie was fantastic, and the pizza diavola was simply fantastic! The salad was fresh and aromatic, accompanied by a fine olive oil. I wish I had a restaurant like this at home.

16/10/2025: The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and warm. The chef is excellent. When you stay at 4Quarti, you have an exceptional experience because the atmosphere is so pleasant and comforting. You really learn what a family is, as the one that runs the hotel is so close-knit and beautiful. Few people work with such dedication. I recommend it with my eyes closed. I thank Paola, Gianluca, and their entire family and employees again!

13/07/2025: Una sera tra amici, buona la pizza con impasto molto digeribile e leggero e con ottimi ingredienti. Le patatine prima della pizza ottime. Un'amica ha scelto il pesce e sembrava soddisfatta. I dolci non eccellenti, ma abbastanza gradevoli. Unico neo un po' di inesperienza nel servizio ai tavoli.
Location davvero molto bella così come l'allestimento.
Buono e giusto il rapporto qualità prezzo! Ci si può tornare

Antica Trattoria del Cacciatore

25/12/2024: Pessima esperienza. Ci siamo recati in questo locale per il pranzo di Natale e le nostre aspettative sono rimaste disattese.
Il menù era unico per tutti i commensali e queste sono alcune delle mie considerazioni sulle portate: la torta di patate facente parte dell’antipasto presentava la pasta cruda, il risotto con le barbabietole non aveva un gusto gradevole ed i dolci non erano soffici e fragranti.
Nel complesso la qualità del cibo era scadente e l’impressione avuta è stata che tutto fosse stato riscaldato per il servizio, come se quasi nessun piatto fosse stato preparato fresco, al momento, per la giornata.
Il servizio, tra le altre cose, davvero troppo lungo: ci siamo seduti alle 13:00 e l’ultima portata è stata servita alle 17:00; si può comprendere che il pranzo di Natale sia un pò più lungo rispetto alla norma, ma 4 ore sono decisamente eccessive.
Unica nota positiva, la gentilezza dei camerieri.
25/12/2024: Pranzo natalizio molto deludente. Pietanze scarse e fredde. Anolini in brodo di dado. Riso scotto. Carne non ben cotta e servita fredda. Servizio scadente. Un ristorante - a ben 60 euro a persona - non ha mandarini disponibili. Vino scadente. Da evitare! Un vero peccato. Si trattava di un ottimo locale che vuole diventare inutilmente pretenzioso tradendo la sua natura.
