Very fast service, I'm still amazed by how quickly it went, I don't even know what to say. ⚡
Beautiful atmosphere, gorgeous torches and lanterns that match the decor, nice tables, nothing special, and above all, the place was breezy, it was great. 🛋️
It's expensive, but it's worth it because the food is amazing. 👌 It depends on what you eat, because if you get the Florentine steak, it's a real treat.

24/08/2025: Until about six months ago, the "Deliziosa" pizza was truly delicious. They used a non-standard pancetta on it, but it was more delicate than regular pancetta and less fatty... but it wasn't the classic pancetta (which just doesn't cook well).
The result was an excellent pizza with a thinly sliced cured meat on top (not whole slices) and cooked with a very pleasant result.
Trying it again recently... INEDIBLE: they changed the product weight, pancetta is definitely cheaper, also cut thicker and with hard lumps that you can feel in your mouth and have to spit out, it almost seems like bacon. And with so much fat that it turns yellow during cooking, it's hard to digest... plus, the stringiness of this product compared to the previous one ruins everything.
How could I destroy a pizza that was perfect?
What a shame...

12/05/2025: Il menu a prezzo fisso della via Francigena è buono e abbondante. Forse non da stellato Michelin, ma certamente un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. E poi il locale è piacevole, i camerieri super efficienti e gentili. Siamo arrivati in forte ritardo sulla prenotazione (di sabato sera!) per un guasto e nessuno ce lo ha fatto pesare. Consigliato!
29/04/2025: Siamo stati benissimo - consigliati calorosamente dal cameriere che ci ha dato ottime indicazioni sulla scelta anche dei cappelletti (che erano buonissimi). Ci siamo sentiti come a casa.

20/08/2025: Extremely disappointed with the mid-August lunch. We've been going to this place for years for fish and pizza... but maybe it's time for a change. The price was very high, and the food wasn't all good. The mixed fried fish was beyond comment. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We've always had good food in the past.
16/08/2025: Super friendly service and delicious pizza. We had gluten-free pizza for the first time and were thrilled.
The terrace in front of the restaurant is very airy and fresh, perfect for this heat. And most importantly: only Italians and no tourists, making it an authentic family restaurant.

26/04/2025: La gelateria Calypso è una di quelle gemme nascoste che ti sorprendono al primo assaggio. Qui non si trovano solo i classici gusti, ma vere e proprie creazioni originali che riescono a conquistare anche i palati più curiosi. Dai sapori più particolari come “Fior di sale e caramello” o “Ricotta e fichi” fino a combinazioni più audaci, ogni gusto è una scoperta.
Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero imbattibile: con soli 2,5€ ti porti a casa una coppetta o un cono ricco di gusto e cremosità. Le porzioni sono generose e gli ingredienti freschi si sentono ad ogni cucchiaino.
L’atmosfera è accogliente e il personale sempre disponibile a consigliare il gusto perfetto per te. Se sei alla ricerca di qualcosa di diverso dalla solita gelateria, Calypso è sicuramente una tappa obbligatoria. 🍨

22/08/2025: Tables often need clearing, table service is nonexistent (you order and then hear the shout of "coffee" and go get it), empty croissants are completely anonymous, and the coffee saucer is always dirty. The only positives: the cappuccino—really good, the ingredients blended just right, without one dominating over the other—and the guy at the counter, always nice and kind. Catering is an art, not just a profession, where passion, whether it's there or not, shows.
10/08/2025: Update the hours on the website...because it used to be open and instead closes at 1:00 PM on Sundays!

05/06/2025: Agriturismo situato sulle colline, in una location davvero piacevole e molto tranquilla. Il cibo è tradizionale, preparato con ingredienti freschi e prodotti fatti in casa. Il servizio è semplice ma estremamente cortese.
La cucina è quella tipica di un agriturismo: piatti buoni e genuini, anche se non particolarmente raffinati o ricercati. Ideale per le famiglie, grazie agli ampi spazi esterni che permettono ai bambini di giocare in libertà e sicurezza.
L’unico appunto riguarda il prezzo, che a mio parere risulta leggermente alto rispetto alla tipologia dell’offerta proposta.
