22/02/2026: The quality is undeniable, but the price isn't for everyone. The Brick Lane sandwich is objectively excellent. High-quality ingredients and well-balanced flavors. However, you should be aware that it's not a cheap option: sandwiches start at €12, a price that puts the restaurant at a premium for the area. While the food is satisfying, the customer service is unfortunately terrible and ruins everything else: The long wait to get in—that's understandable, considering it was a Saturday—but what's not so great is that once we got in, we were "invited to leave" at the last bite. The most unpleasant thing was the absurd haste in wanting to send us away. After making us wait forever to eat, they practically asked us to get up while we were still chewing the last bite. Conclusion: You can't charge €12 (or more) for a sandwich and then treat the customer like a number to be rotated as quickly as possible to free up the table. If you're looking for a quiet dinner and friendly service, this isn't the place, at least on a Saturday night. It's a shame, because the food deserves much better.

As a celiac, I can honestly say I've rarely eaten so well: great attention and care without making me feel "different." The staff is attentive, polite, and helpful. Highly recommended!

08/02/2026: A magnificent, traditional Neapolitan restaurant with incredible waiters and service! The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of the pizzas, pastas, antipasti, etc. It's much better to eat here than anywhere else in Pompeii and the surrounding area. We returned several times during our stay because we loved it so much. Although they didn't speak much English, we managed just fine with Spanish and Italian :)

Unfortunately, when I asked for clarification, they told me the takeaway price is €16, while the table service is €20. Everything would be fine, except that they charge a €2 cover charge per person. I don't find that very fair. Either you charge €20 including cover charge, or €16 plus cover charge.

I've been frequenting Bubalus for years, and every visit is always a confirmation: an excellent experience from every perspective.
