I ate a carbonara that hadn't been so good in years....
The very nice chef with a ready joke who knows how to recommend his delicious dishes.

13/08/2024: Bel locale e buon cibo ma porzioni minuscole Ottima birra artigianale. Servizio discreto con atteggiamento diverso se sei un cliente conosciuto o un cliente occasionale. Il conto è alto per il tipo di cucina povera che offrono. Ogni tanto ci si può andare.

16/06/2024: Locale sempre uguale e caratteristico come un tempo nnt da dire , sono stato questa sera ed è stato un esplosione di gusto e sapori .
Abbiamo preso un crocchettone in due , molto buono ma un pochino freddo all interno .
Poi abbiamo preso le pizze , un mezzo metro metà nerano e metà pulcinella .
Impasto MOLTO IDRATATO , soffice e leggero , tanto che ne abbiamo ordinato un altra stavolta pizza singola pomodorini e provola .
Che dire mancavo da un paio di anni , all epoca era buona la pizza ., ma ora è buonissima complimenti ancora continuate così . Ps: anche molto economico 💯

14/07/2024: Good and genuine food, attentive and fast service, very relaxing environment, it is an oasis of peace in the center of the city. Medium-high prices but in line with the service offered, plus there was also live music to make the evening pleasant. I'll be back ☺️

08/08/2024: My favorite restaurant. I had dinner with friends who didn't know it and they were enthusiastic about it. From the food to the excellent service, attentive to every detail. A cellar of high quality wines and the friendliness of the owners make this place an excellence .
07/08/2024: No, we're not quite there. Lots of social media rubbish, them and the "seafood jam" but the photos speak for themselves, and don't tell me that a mixing error can happen because, 1 the place was half empty and 2 there's no way that dishes are brought out of the kind both from the pass and from the room service. No flavour, scandalous package and also a lot of doubt about the fish shown before preparation and the one that arrived afterwards (tell me where the 750g of monkfish are). The prices are absurd for such quality. PS However, for the love of the profession, I would like to compliment the very quick and attentive staff. Nice location.

21/07/2024: Very nice place at the beginning of the golden mile. We had breakfast there: Excellent products and service. I don't give the 5th star because the prices are a little high, closer to those in the center of a big city than in a provincial town.
10/07/2024: I live in Milan but my elderly parents live in Portici. When we come to visit them, a stop at Papille is a must. Nice environment, they eat tasty things ... and above all the staff is lovingly welcoming. In short, since I am not often there with my parents, I feel I want to thank them

13/07/2024: We went to this place yesterday around 8pm, my husband and I with the little one for an aperitif, beer and apertass are served with mini bruschetta, olives, peanuts and lupins. The only flaw in the bill is that the price for the apertass does not coincide with the price indicated on the menu (price €4 paid €7).
27/05/2024: A place with attention to the smallest details and very welcoming.
It has a wide choice of wines that can be paired with any course.

The waiters are super friendly and attentive.
The only thing I didn't like was the traffic on the street where the outdoor terrace is, but we overcame that because of the exclusive service and delicious food.

17/07/2024: I strongly advise against going on a Saturday. I brought my family but I honestly regretted it, we ate quickly to leave as soon as possible. I booked and when we arrived they didn't know which table to give us then after 10 minutes they finally gave us a table and after a while they came to take our orders.
